Ch. 6: Genkai's `Workout'

"Don't worry, the old hag will find a way to keep your mind off everything but plans to kill her!" Yugi laughed a little. "I'm sure she's not that bad Yusuke." Yusuke snorted. "Just wait until you meet her kid. Genkai will rip you apart and pull you inside-out!" They all laughed, but Hiei, at Yusuke's smart attitude. "Very funny Yusuke!" Ramza said elbowing him in the side then running off. "Ow! Hey! That wasn't very nice! It's not manly to run Ramza! Hey, wait up!" Yusuke and the others took off after him, leaving behind Koenma. "This is already the beginning of the New Age…."

"Yo, grandma! We're here! And we brought back something from the place you're supposed to be in!!" The group reached the top of the staircase, minus Hiei, and were met by Genkai. Yugi fell to his hands and knees. "Geez…. She likes to torture her students, huh?" Yusuke laughed. "Ya see what I mean?" Yugi nodded. A few other girls walked out and introduced themselves as Botan, Yukina, Keiko, and, of course, Genkai. "So, this is the demon Koenma kept bragging about?" "Bragging? I'm not a demon." "You aren't?" Yugi shook his head. "Then what are you?" Kurama decided to answer since Yugi probably didn't know. "A Nephilim, or Nephili. That's what Sakura said." Genkai's eyes widened at the sound of Sakura's name. "Sakura? That teenage brat? He's not here is he?" Sakura looked up and coughed. "Is there a problem with that name, Genkai? If you don't want me here, I can go home. Then no one will know how to work the Chipp." "Fine. Just keep out of the way. The last time you were here, that jelly wouldn't come off of the ceiling." Sakura, Yusuke, and Kuwabara burst out laughing. "That was funny!!" "Yeah man, that was the best food fight I've ever been in." Genkai got up and left the room. "Even better than that birthday cake huh?" Yusuke was leaning against the wall for support. "That was Sakura's doing too! I thought those melted chocolate chips would never come out of my hair!"

A little while later, when Yugi got settled in and Yusuke stopped laughing so much, Genkai led Yugi to the place where she kept the `training boulder' as she called it. "Sakura said that the `chip' would recognize your spirit energy so it would be easier to carry." She untied it. "I have to put a 50 ton boulder on my back!?" The boulder began to move. "Uh, Genkai…." Yugi pointed to the rock and she turned around. "I guess Sakura made it so the boulder needs to stay tied up." It began to move forward. "O.O Run!!" Yugi listened and the boulder rolled after them. "AH!!!!!" Genkai turned a corner and Yugi followed. The rock stopped and turned to them. "Damned Chipp!!! I knew Sakura was evil!! Bastard!!" The rock grew and anime vein and rolled after them, again. "That thing can hear me!!!!!!!!" They ran again, up the stairs. "I'd like to see it follows us now." The boulder bounced up the stairs. "Nice work kid!" They sprinted past Kurama, who sweatdropped. "Genkai? Yugi? Huh!?" The boulder flew past Kurama in an attempt to catch the other two. "Dimwit!!!! Yusuke!!!!!" Yusuke's head popped out of the window. "What!?" He watched as Genkai and Yugi ran by. When he saw the rock, he screamed and pulled his head back in. "Whoa!!! Ey! Grandma, ya got a rock chasing you!" "No really Yusuke!!" The boulder then stopped, courtesy of Kurama's Rose Whip.

Yugi fell to his knees. "Man, I think that I get it now. Rocks can kill!" Genkai walked over and yanked the Chipp off of the rock. "I think that's enough for today. Thanks Kurama." Kurama nodded and walked away. "Was that what Yusuke meant by evil, old, pink haired lady?" Genkai grew and anime vein and Yusuke ran inside. "Yusuke!!!!! Get over here, NOW!!!!!!" Genkai ran inside and Yugi sweatdropped. "Oy, is this a normal day here? Cause if it is, grandpa can forget about demons and humans being friends. I'm gonna quit!" He ran inside to see if Genkai would really kill Yusuke, and because it was getting dark.

|*|----------Next Morning----------|*|

"Hey guys! I pinpointed Dracula's `hideout' if anyone wants to see it. It's called Castle Frankenstein!" Sakura was sitting at the table typing on his laptop. Yusuke and Kuwabara were stuffing their faces, and everyone else was eating, well, not everyone. "Yugi? What's wrong? You haven't touched your food? Something getting you down?" Yugi didn't look up. "I guess I'm just not hungry. May I be excused?" Genkai nodded and he left. "I don't know…. what if something really is bothering him?" Yusuke stopped eating. "Don't' you think he would've told us?" Kuwabara looked up. "Urameshi is right. But what if he was telling the truth? He doesn't seem like the one to lie." Sakura was typing again. "Maybe so. Look at this." He handed the computer to Kurama. "'A Nephilim can experience many mood swings like'-huh?" Sakura looked at the screen. It showed the spinning disk and files being torn in two. "People! We are now seeing how Chipp gets rid of sent viruses! Cool huh?" "How long will this take?" Sakura shrugged.

Dracula was busy cleaning out his computer files. He had info on things no one has ever heard of. After hearing of the death of one of his `children' he had been cleaning things up. The bats have multiplied, which was good in his case, and brought back a trio of sisters. He was thinking about what he should do with them. That was when he opened a file with a virus. "Damn it!"

|*|----------The Temple----------|*|

Enough about Dracula, it was a nice day, so the gang was outside. Genkai was training Yugi without the boulder, Kuwabara and Hiei were yelling at each other, Yusuke was laughing his ass off, Keiko and Yukina were cleaning, Kimmy was helping them, Sakura was still waiting for the virus to die, Botan went away somewhere, Ramza was trying to stop Hiei from killing Kuwabara, Haiti was inside watching TV, and Kiky and Kurama were watching them. "Uh, are they always like this?" Kurama nodded. "You should see them on a Saturday." Just another normal day in Genkai's temple. Why don't we have Dracula's bats attack them in the next chapter?
