" Lynn?"

...

" LYNN! Get out of bed NOW!," screeched my mother from the far off distance. I groaned and pulled my pillow to my face, trying to block out her sleep-ridden voice. My stereo then turned on, telling me that it was 7:00 in the morning. The sweet voice of Utada Hikaru played from my stereo's CD, reminded me that not all things were bad as them seemed right now. So, I got up and stumbled into my bathroom to get ready for school. As I got finished, I went to the kitchen and allowed the warmth from the oven wash over me. " Making pancakes, Mama?," I asked, peeking over her sholders. " Yes, now get something to drink and sit down," she ordered, placing a kiss on my cheek. I nodded and got myself a glass of orange juice and took a sip, glancing at my kitchen. Pictures were hung on the wall- pictures of my artwork. They were mostly from anime and video games and then some normal artwork like still life. I needed to take the one of Arwen from Lord of the Rings and take it to my art teacher...

I finished my breakfast and climbed into my car afterwards. Driving by, I noticed the pink and light blue sky before me. It was really pretty. I smiled to myself and dug around in my glove compartment for my burned copy of a Weiss Kruez CD, so I could listen to ' Velvet Underworld.' Whilst the mighty tempo and blaring bass pounded on the inside of my car, I didn't notice the truck in front of me. I remember jerking forward and hitting my steering wheel, knocking the wind out of me. Then I saw the ceiling of my car and something crinsom blocked my vision at the corner of my eyes. Shouts where around me, a woman screaming, and the squeals of tires stopping. Then, I felt hot. Was there a fire? Something licked and grazed against my heated flesh and I began moaning incoherently, a coppery taste in my mouth making me gag. Then, I heard 'it'. ' It' was playing again, this time, stronger.

kie yui,

" eey..."

" HEEEY!"

I blinked suddenly and a bright light exploded in front of me. I no longer felt hot, but cool. The light dimmed, and then, patterns appeared. Patterns like on cloth. I groaned slightly and moved, but a placid hand kept me down. " Stay still. You are still very much injured." Such a deep voice! But, feminime- you know, husky and syrupy. I turned my head to my right and saw a exotic-looking woman with a piercing hazel-red eye, the other hidden by raven hair. " Who- wha...?," I mumbled, trying to talk. " Hush. Wakka went to go get the doctor. He'll help you," said the woman kindly, taking a piece of wet cloth to my face. "My, but were you crying out in your sleep! I'm surprised you were still alive when Wakka and I found you... looked like fiends attacked." I felt my eyebrow arch in question. " Wakka? He-?"

The flap of the tent opened and a large, built man with a dark tan and bright red-orange hair appeared, holding a bag. " Ah, she awake den?" He had a funny accent; Jamacian almost. " Great. The doctor will see her is a bit, ya?" He gave the bag to the woman and winked at me. " You'll be okay. You in good hands now, lil' one." The woman smiled at me. " This is Wakka. I am Lulu."

Okay, this is really odd... of course, I knew it was odd the beginning I woke up. It is impossible for a real person to be somehow transported inside a video game. It just is... No one can do it and plus, if it were to happen, the government would've had their hands on that person who was able to. Arrgg... I'm getting a headache just thinking about the outcomes of this! If it is FFX, then why am I here? Yuna defeated Sin, and I'm sure she doesn't need my help on anything in her world... Lulu wouldn't let me out of the tent while she and Wakka went to the temple for a priest. Phfft- why would they need a priest? They wouldn't really exist anymore since Yu-Yevon and the religion was a fake. Anyway, I realized I was hurt- my left arm was in a sling and some scratches were over my right arm and probably on my face. So, I sat in the bed, playing with the local dog and listening to the distant ocean. It was about to put me asleep again! Yawning deeply, I hummed to myself while stroking the dog's butterscotch fur, hearing him sigh in content.

" Those thousand words
Have never been spoken
So far away
I'm sending them to you wherever you are

Suspended on shiny wings
Those thousand words
Have never been spoken
They'll treasure you

Make you no longer dare seem
So far away
And hold you forever.."

I blinked, stopping the song. " Hold on," I whispered to the night air. " I don't KNOW that song..." I began to feel scared. Now, I so wanted to go home. Sitting up, I held my injured arm and stood, swaying a little. I stumbled to the opening of the tent and lifted the flap, seeing a large fire in the center of the village. Besaid is really a beautiful little place to call home. I smiled lightly and made my way out, seeing that everyone was asleep. A chocobo was tied to a post, sleeping soundly, every once and awhile, a " kweh" coming from it. I walked to the temple steps and then felt an enormous surge of power coming from it. Is it possible for a human to feel something like that?! Shaking my head, I then heard voices coming from the temple, and the power growing stronger as I walked in. Lulu, Wakka, a priest, and a shadowy character were talking in hushed tones. I knew they were talking about me- it's not everyday to find someone lying on a beach scarred up and half-conscieous. I leaned against a pillar and focused my hearing on them.

" Could you not tell?," Lulu asked lowly, appearing to be aggrivated. " I saw, Lulu, I saw. But... I don't know what to believe. We all thought... it's not possible," Wakka muttered, hand on his forehead, rubbing it. " Do you think she could handle it though?," questioned the priest, nervously looking at Lulu. The Black Mage shrugged, a soft sigh escaping her lips. " If Yuna couldn't, what makes you think this girl can?," came the voice of the shadowed person. The three elders looked at the person as if in thought.

I, however, was clutching the pillar for dear life. The power...! It was so great!!! I could feel something- a voice, calling out to me in so much agony! It wanted release. Like it was trapped. I stumbled and knelt down, gasping for air. My arm pulsed, the blood hot and quick. I felt myself getting a nosebleed and my gasps becoming louder and louder as the singing, the neverending singing, echoing in my head, all around. I crawled up the steps, blood trailing after me. " No!!! Why are you in here?!!," yelled Lulu, running to my side. I caught her scent of wild jasmine and lavendar and pushed by her, my eyes focused on that one exit. The one exit that would create a person to sacrifice themselves to the world to save it...

" Wakka! Stop her!"

He couldn't. The ex-Blitzball captain couldn't move a muscle. He shook his head, looking sorry, but something else. " She can hear it. Let them finish what they have to," he said in a low tone. Lulu twirled around on him, her firey eye flashing. " She'll probably die, she's still weak! If she crosses that thresh hold, everything will be ruined!," the mage cried, her hands clenching very tightly. I then thought to myself that whatever she was arguing about to be very silly and foolish, so I reached for the door handle, hearing the four people gasp. The singing then dimmed, slowly, slowly... and I fell down. Darkness consumed me once more, a gentle buzzing filling my head. Very faintly, I could recall Lulu's gentle hands helping me up and then Wakka's strong arms holding me. Then... that was it.

" Do you understand?"

" Yes, Lulu."

" That sounds like a sarcastic remark."

" It wasn't! Honestly-!"

Lulu was leaving me alone by myself for a the day while she and Wakka were going to Kilika Island for something. They said a friend of theirs was to come by and watch me. So, I agreed. Heck, if healing me and then sending me off to go home by myself would be an adventure- I was SO totally wrong... The person, or should I say person and beast, was a whole adventure for me to handle. I was drawing at the time when I heard excited talking and laughing outside. Lifting my head, I saw my tent door opened and a spunky-looking girl in bright yellow, orange, and red smiling at me, peculiar green eyes sparkling. " Hi there! New girl, right?" My heart immediately jumped wildly, as I recongized Rikku. The little Al-Bhed had grown up in two years. Her hair was longer now and held up in a blue bandana. She wore a yellow bikini top with a scarf- red, mellowing down to orange and yellow- around her light bronze neck. A cute brown skirt with a pocket-pouch hanging off her waist. Around her arms were cream-coloured sleeves tied in bows. Such an outfit-

it screamed her name.

" I'm Rikku; nice to meet ya! Lulu told me to look after you."

Err... ya like? I'm getting there!!! I just played FFX and beat the crap out of it once more and I am eagerly awaiting to buy the 2nd game- MUST SAVE UP MONEY! Anyone who's playing it now, tell me about it in the review, pretty please?!! I LOVE YOUS GUYS! :):):)
