Irvine x Selphie pairing
A/N: Hiya! I just can't get enough of this fanfic. So, I decided to write another chapter so soon. I was thinking about making a song fic for Irvine and Selphie, and I have two songs I just can't choose from. Hehe, I could just do both songs. Well, let's put that aside for now and focus on this fanfic. I'm just in a writing mood today! ^_^ Anyway... Thank you for all the reviews!!

Chapter Five "Rinoa's Plan."
Selphie stood in the middle of a flower field. She wore a yellow sun-dress with skinny straps holding it up. It had sunflowers on the dress for decorations too. Her hair was down, not flipped up like it usually was. Her hair was about four inches past her shoulders. It looked so beautiful when it was down. The wind blew her hair across her face. She lifted her hand, and placed the falling piece of hair behind her ear. She glanced up, noticing there was only one tree. The only tree was in the middle of the flower field.
"This place looks...sort of familiar." Selphie proceeded to the tree.
She walked closer to it, and stopped. She noticed a figure leaning on the tree. The figure was in shadows, so she couldn't make out who it was, all she knew was that it looked like a very familiar person. She started walking again, but every time she would get closer to it this time, it seemed as if she was getting further and further away. She started running towards it. She ran as fast as she could. She really was eager to meet this person, maybe it was supposed to be her prince charming.
She stopped to take a break, and to get some air. Selphie looked up at the sky and noticed dark clouds.
"Oh no! It's not gonna rain is it?" Selphie frowned.
As if on cue, thunder was heard in the background. The once beautiful sky was all dark and gloomy now. Rain started to fall softly, but then it started to pour rapidly. Lighting flashed in the sky, followed by the sound of thunder.
"I have to get some shelter quick." Selphie didn't hesitate, she looked frantically around for any type of shelter, but it seemed that she was just standing in and endless field of flowers.
*BOOM*
This time Selphie jumped at the sound of it. It sounded like an angry lion's roar. It just kept getting worse by the second.
"I'm scared." Selphie didn't want to just stand there, so she ran.
Her hair was soaked, and so were her clothes, but that didn't stop her. All she wanted to do was to find shelter, but wait, where did that figure go? She turned around to face the tree, but the figure wasn't there anymore. Strange she thought, but this was no time to worry about that, she needed to get home. Home, where was it, where was she, how did she get here? So many questions filled her mind right then. Suddenly, lighting struck the ground near her.
Selphie shrieked, then ran faster, "This is useless, there's no end."
After a while, she started getting exhausted. She collapsed in the bed of flowers.
"I...can't...keep...running..." She managed to get out.
The rain still poured down rapidly, and the thunder and lighting was still active, but she didn't care, she was just plain tired. She wanted to get home, where she knew it was safe. But where was she? She was lost...

Selphie woke up in a startle. What was that dream all about? She grab her teddy bear, Irvy, and held it close to her. She sighed and looked at her clock.
"Oh no! I'm gonna miss saying good-bye to Quistis and Squall!" She immediately jumped out of her bed and pulled on her yellow dress. She didn't have time to flip her hair, so she brushed it, and grabbed her boots.
She hopped down the hallways of Balamb Garden, trying to put her boots on, and run at the same time. Finally, she got her shoes on. She ran all the way to the front gate, where she found that no one was there.
"Um...that's odd. I thought they said 8:00," Selphie looked to the left the right, then it hit her, "Ugh! They said the parking lot!"
She ran all the way back to the Garden, then ran straight for the parking lot. There, she saw Rinoa hugging Squall, and Quistis looking like a major wreck. Seifer was holding her hand, and talking to her. Zell was eating a hot-dog he took with him from the cafeteria. And Irvine was no where to be found.
Selphie pouted and walked up to everyone, "Hiya guys! I'm glad I made it before Squall and Quistis left."
"Hey Selphie." Squall greeted.
"Yo, what's up?" Zell shoved the a hot-dog in her face, "Want one?"
"Ew, gross, get that out of my face." Selphie pushed the hot-dog out of her face and walked up to Quistis.
"Hey." Quistis put on a faint smile.
"Are you ok, Quisty?" Selphie asked concerned for her friend.
"I think... I have a hangover." Quistis said at a low tone, embarrassed to say out loud.
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you feel better soon." Selphie tried to cheer her unlucky friend up.
Quistis nodded, "Thank you, Selphie."
"Are you ready to go?" Squall walked over to Quistis.
"Yeah, let's go." Quistis and Squall both walked over to the car.
"Wait." Rinoa yelled and ran over to Squall.
"Yes," Squall said opening the door.
Rinoa gave Squall a hug, and a kiss on the lips, "I love you Squall, and good luck to both of you."
Squall blushed, "I love you too, Rinoa. Bye." Squall got in the car.
Seifer walked over to Quistis and opened the door for her, "Here you go, Miss Trepe."
"Thank you Seifer." She gave him a hug, and a kiss on the cheeks, "Bye sweetie, love you."
"I love you too." Seifer smiled, and waved good-bye.
Selphie, Rinoa, Seifer, and Zell all waved good-bye to the car as it drove away.
"All right, I'm going back to my dorm and get some sleep. I didn't get any last night." Seifer said.
"Why?" Zell said eating the rest of his hot-dog.
"That's none of your business Chicken-wuss!" Seifer raised his voice.
"Aww, your blushing Seifer, tell us, we won't tell anyone else." Rinoa added.
"Quistis was over." Seifer said, barely even audible.
"OOOOOOOOOOOOO" Zell screamed.
"Shut up Chicken-wuss!" Seifer walked away from the parking lot, and back to his dorm.
"Aww, how sweet, he was taking care of her." Selphie commented.
"Yeah, he really is a sweet, caring person." Rinoa smiled.
Zell stood there puzzled, "I thought they were, you know..."
"Ew gross, no Quistis was sick last night and Seifer said she could stay over for the night." Selphie kicked Zell in the shin.
"Yeah, Quistis wouldn't let anyone touch her if she didn't want them too." Rinoa stuck her tongue out at Zell.
"Ouch, ok ok, sorry." Zell scratched his head and walked off.
Selphie and Rinoa giggled.
"Hey, Rinoa, why didn't Irvine come and say good-bye?" Selphie asked.
"Oh, he came by earlier. Remember, he had a class today, so he couldn't stay." Rinoa and Selphie started walking to the cafeteria.
"Oh yeah, I'm so glad I finished all my classes this semester." Selphie added.
"Me too! All we get to do now is just sit back and relax. We SeeDs are lucky that we don't have as many classes as the other students." Rinoa put her arms behind her head, "Doesn't Irvine finish his classes today?"
"Yep! I'm so happy about that!" Selphie said cheerfully.
"I bet you are. Squall doesn't have any classes, since he's the commander and all." Rinoa sighed.
"Hey, why don't we go and wait for Irvine?" Selphie added.
"Uh, maybe you can, it would be kinda strange with me waiting there with you." Rinoa responded.
"Why would it be weird?" Selphie asked.
"Cause, me being around another guy when Squall is gone, you know, people might get the wrong idea."
"No, they won't, come on." Selphie grabbed Rinoa's arm.
"Hmm... I have to go talk to Zell, why don't you and Irvine meet us in the cafeteria?" Rinoa suggested.
"Oh, ok then. I'll see you later." Selphie ran off to go meet Irvine.

Zell was sitting at the usual table alone. It was lonely without the group together. Rinoa ran over to him and sat across from him.
"Hey Zell! What's up?" Rinoa got comfortable.
"Hey Rin, boy am I glad to see someone, I'm so bored." Zell said excitedly.
Rinoa grinned, "Well, since your bored, I have a something for us to do."
"Uh, Rinoa, I don't know how to say this, but your going out with Squall, I can't do that to my friend, your just gonna have to wait till he gets back." Zell scratched the back of his neck.
Rinoa kicked him hard in the shin, "EW gross! That's not what I meant Zell!!!"
"Ouch, my bad, ehehe."
Rinoa rolled her eyes, "Ok, listen up..."
