Are Meant For Each Other, My dream?
*****
Tidus sighed as he swam up and looked around him the pool of life. A never-ending swim it was. It was all a dream, the last dream the fayth had dreamed of for him and his kind.
Yuna…
That was who is ever though of. His Yuna. Clenching his fist, why did it have to be that way. The pain that the two separating was excruciating. His Yuna, she was so beautiful, understanding and compassionate. The love he felt… Tidus grinned a little and lay in the water, thinking of when he first kissed her. How hesitant he was, but instincts kicked in.
He sighed and looked at the endless see, how long had it been since his departure in the real world? A year? Two? Three? A decade? He would never know, he was just floating around in a world with out time, without actual purpose. He would sometime go to the farplane and talk to Auron and other dead hero's of the real word. The fayth had granted him and his fellow dreams that chance. H
Life was good … or dreams. Tidus flipped over in the water and swam until he was the ground that took a while. What was time? He had time… all of it. He could try finding a woman to be his mate, try and start a new life, maybe make a start a family. Another gift by the fayth.
Tidus reach the ground and began putting the sand into a ball and threw them anywhere. He needed to let his anger out. He needed.... Yuna. After throwing over a dozen sand balls Tidus sat down on the ground and looked around him, all he was blue water. Then he looked up. He didn't expect to see what he saw. In a watery projection was Yuna. Tears slid off her face and went into the water. Strangely the tear kept its outline and travel down until it reached Tidus and faded away with the ocean. Like the first tears the other tears followed.
Getting up, Tidus swam upward to the surface. To Yuna. Swimming as fast as he could. He had to reach there before she faded away. An inch away from the surface, debating whether he should touch it.
If I touch it, what if it's a fantasy? What if I just got my heart smashed?
Defeated, Tidus shook his head, "It's just a fantasy, she's not there."
Tidus looked at the image once more before starting to head downward and stopped, he heard sobs.
This is new. I've never heard my fantasy cry.
Bringing hope, Tidus looked at the image in hope. Gathering all his courage he swam up, he reached up his hand and grabbed for the leg, expecting him to grasp nothing but water. His eyes widen as he felt the leg, the image eyes widen in fear and gasp.
She screamed.
Not being able to stop the joy filling up his being, Tidus gripped the leg harder and started pulling. Closing his eyes, expecting the image to disappear. He pulled till he felt a distraction in the water as another body dived into it. Opening his eyes, he stared into the eyes of the one he had left such a long time ago.
"TIDUS!"
*********
Yuna walked away from her house and started heading toward the ocean shore. Feeling the hot tears start to trail down her cheeks. She looked a bit to the right and glanced at the large staue of her just a few miles away. Ever since the final battle, she was appointed the most powerful being in all of Spira. Everywhere she went, she was asked for autographs. A statue of her was in every church, temple.
Humans again started using Machina. Now careful of how they used the machines. Making a treaty, Spira stated they would never go into war with another world unless it was necessary to defending their world.
Walking along the shore, Yuna thoughts went back the thoughts that plague her mind for the last two years.
Tidus.
Staring at the clear water, Yuna let go of the tears she was holding back all day. Why couldn't she get over him? Why couldn't she stop thinking of him? Why did she mourn for a love that would never be? Her tears fell into the ocean and she watched it melded with it.
Yuna looked up into the sky " Tidus . . . "
Where was he now? Was he happy? Did he move on? How could he? He was dead. Without existence to the real world.
More tears slid down as she thought the last line...
Suddenly Yuna felt something grasp at her ankle. She looked down and saw a gloved hand holding her ankle. It hurt because the hand was squeezing as if she would disappear. Yuna soon began to fight the hand but it was just to strong so finally the hand gave a good yank and Yuna fell into the depths of the water.
Under water she began to look around, looking for the predator. Finally she turned to her front and there was Tidus. Yuna stared at the Tidus, mouth agape.
"TIDUS!"
Running into his arms, Yuna ran to Tidus, holding him tightly, crying into his arms, and telling him how much she missed him. Looking up into Tidus eyes, Yuna shook her head and hugged him tighter, placing her head on the crook of his neck.

Tidus couldn't believe it. Yuna was here, in his arms, holding him.
"Yuna …is that really you?"
"I should be asking that…" Yuna said breathlessly.
"Yuna? How-I mean when? How are you here?"
"I don't know. All I know is I'm happy to be here. "
Tidus looked at Yuna and looked at the Surface. " We should probably should Paleon . . ."
"Paleon?" Yuna asked
"The big man, the boss he knows all that happens. He should know what's going on . . "
"Then lets go. " Yuna said
" No, lets take our time, I think we deserve it. How long has it been since the battle?"
"About two years has past. You are known legend all over Spira. They even made you part of the scripts saying how when there is trouble pray to the God Tidus and he'll awaken from his slumber with his summoner and his comrades would aid him.
"Whoa, you guys are so into religion are you? My god. . me a legend? Not much less a God? Spira these days…" Tidus joaked, grinning.
Yuna kissed Tidus's cheeks. " We should go" Tidus nodded in agreement.
With that the couple swam to their destination, Paleon the lord of the Dreams and the Dead.

FloralBlackMoon after revising and editing: This was shit. I can't believe people enjoyed this story! It has all kinds of spelling and grammar error and the chapter drags on. I can't believe people liked it! All this extra information the reader could care less about…wow. Talk about being a terrible newbie. Chapter isn't as long as before, but at least it's better!
