Yuna stands on the dock on besaid island practicing her whistling *Just whistle and I'll come running 'kay?* She hears the love of her life saying it over and over in her mind. Why would the fayth do something so...heartrending to Yuna..how could Tidus only be a dream?


~I know that your hiding things
Using gentle words to shelter me..~




Tidus had been a dream of the fayth and when the fayth were defeated their dream faded..how could he only be a dream. He was there with Yuna all the way until the showdown with sin.





~your word were like a dream
But dreams could never fool me..not that easily.~




*Flashback* "Yuna I have to go.... I'm sorry I couldn't show you Zanarkand.." They were all standing around looking at Tidus confused. "No" Yuna says while shaking her head. "Good bye!" Tidus said as he walked to the end of the air ship. Yuna tried to run to his arms but he was already fading "Yuna!" Kimarari yelled as she fell through him and landed at the edge of the airship holding onto a pyrefly. She got up slowly and her and Tidus stood back to back "I love you" She said trying to hide her pain.turn around and wrapped his arms around her as he was fading..then he ran to the end of the airship and jumped into the pit of fire. *end of flashback*



~I acted so distant then didn't say good-bye before you left..
But I was listening you'll fight your battles far from me..far to easily..~




Yuna stops whistling and looks down at the deep sea "I miss you ..." She says with tears falling from her eyes. "I have so many memories of you ...they're all around Spira where ever I go..Their is something that makes me think of you ...memories of our journey together..." Yuna says softly. Yuna's soft hair blows lightly in the wind..."Even if we are torn apart our feelings will unite us.." She says to herself still crying.

but still i swore to hide the pain
when I turn back the pages shouting might have been the anwswer...~




"phhhhhhheeeeee!" Yuna hears A very familar whistle and she looks around eagerly. But she sees no sign of him . From behind her walking from the village their he is the love of her life. The man she thought she had lost forever "ppppphhhhhhhhheeeee" She hears again and this time it is right behind her she turns around slowly.




~What if I cried my eyes out and begged you not to depart?
But now I'm not afraid to say whats in my heart..~



Yuna sees A boy with shaggy blonde hair and blue eyes that match the sky he is tall and thin and has a necklace with an emblem on it..the same one that is on Yuna's shirt. He is a bit darker then Yuna and he is wearing a blitzball outfit. "Is it...is it you .." Yuna says softly and slowly her heart beating with every word she says. He smiles and looks at her with loveing eyes. At that moment Yuna runs up to him and stops right in front of him . She wraps her arms around him but they go right through him . Yuna begins to cry again "Don't cry.." He says sadly "It is you .." She says softly. "Yuna..." He says as he tries to cup her cheek but his hand goes through her. He smiles sadly as his body blinks from beginning whole to fading "But how-" Yuna says. "I...needed to see you at least one last time.." He says softly..

"We only get this moment together?" Yuna says again about to cry. "That's all I can give" He says as he strokes Yuna's jawline with his thumb. *he's here to stay Yuna..You have done nothing more than be greatful to us and we broke your heart thank..cherish him Yuna..* A voice says inside her head. *Thank you* As the fayth say this to Yuna Tidus's body becomes whole he is alive once again. Yuna steps forward a little closer and slowly reaches for his cheek she stops 2 inches away as she hesitates. It would break her heart again if he was still a dream. She then touches his cheek and he can feel it as he rests his hand on top of hers and embraces it.

Yuna realeases her hand and smiles. "Your..real" She says. "Tidus touches his face seeing if he really is "I am...I am real" He says. Yuna wraps her arms around him embracing him as he wraps his arms around her waist. He was glad to be united with Yuna once again... "I love you .." Yuna whispers.




~The dream isn't over yet
Though I often say I can't forget
I still relive the day
you've been there with me all the way
I still hear you say~



He smiles loveingly and releases Yuna and looks deep into her eyes. "I love you too.." He says smiling. He moves in closer and closer. Soon they're lips are only inches apart "I'll always love you .." He says as his soft lips meet Yuna's. They passionatley kiss as if this is the last time they shall see each other. they're lips part as they stare into each others eyes.


~Wait for me I'll write you letters
I can see how you stand with your eyes to the floor
But still I swore to hide the doubt when I turned back the pages
Anger might have been the answer~

~What if I held my head and said that I couldn't wait
But now I'm strong enough to know it's not to late~



They hug once again "i'm home Yuna.." Yuna smiles. "yes..and I'm glad..my wish did come true.." She says. He lets go of her and peers into her eyes again "Wish?" He says smiling. Yuna peers down at the wooden dock. "I..I..was wishing...hopeing that you would come back to me..Rikku found this sphere of someone who resembled you greatly.So I became a sphere hunter to see if I could have found more clues. I felt empty for two years..and now your back." She says smiling up at him as they're eyes meet instantly.

"But then I realized you were with me the whole time..I felt you.." She says peering deeper into his deep blue eyes. "He nods. "yes..I was with you..and I always will be.." He says as they exchange loveing looks. "hmm...Rikku and Wakka and Lulu and everyone else will be pleased to see you." Yuna says smiling "Oh yeah! You're going to have to meet Paine..she wants to meet you." She says. Tidus grabs Yunas hand and they walk back to the village Yuna turns around and looks up in the sky as she sees an image of the fayth *Thank you for sending him back to me...* She smiles as the sun glints in her eyes.
