Chapter 3: The Aurochs and Agreement

 

As the ship landed in Besaid Rikku and yuna ran off towards the village as if in a race. The little al bhed girl beat yuna and took off towards the auroch's tent. Yuna made a small `humph' noise then followed.

As the girls entered all the guys in the tent smiled and came over there were about seven or eight of them. A man that looked exactly like Shuyin, spiky frizzled blonde hair and blue eyes, came over and wrapped his arms around Yuna's waist, “Yuna, how are you today?”

Yuna blushed then wrapped her arms around him too, “Alright but everything just got better.”

He smirked and kissed her, “I missed you.”

She blushed slightly then returned his kiss, “I missed you too tidus.”

“Alright people we need to get things ready for the game, ya?” a man that was pretty big and had red hair said coming in with a two year old boy on his shoulder.

“Hey it's Wakka and Vidina!” Rikku giggled and went over to see the boy on the guy's shoulder, “Hey Vidina did you miss me?”

“He's been acting more and more like a natural blitz ball player all the time, ya?” Wakka said smiling at his son, “he might be just like his old man.”

“Awww Wakka you aren't old!” she lightly punched him in the shoulder, “Just spiced!”

“Oh yeah that makes me feel so much better ya?” Wakka laughed.

“Sorry Wakka.” Rikku laughed then smiled at Vidina, “can I play with him Wakka?

“Sure.” Wakka sat his son down then watched Rikku and Vidina run off.

“Tidus I actually kinda need to talk to you.” Yuna said looking up at him then taking him out of the village to the ruins outside it to talk to him, “I found this sphere. You remember when I told you about Lenne and Shuyin and the memories I was getting from them?” she pulled out the sphere which tidus recognized as a baby sphere immediately, “well I got this in my dream and went out to find it. Tidus I know it sounds silly but, I feel that this baby is my own. I want to have this baby tidus and I think that you should know that.”

Tidus nodded, “I understand how you feel yuna. You had the dream about it. The night that the baby was conceived, you felt that night. I'll help you with the baby.”

Yuna's eyes widened, “You mean it?”

Tidus smiled, “Yuna I love you. Nothing, not even a baby, will tear me away from you. Shuyin and I are alike I realize that and you and Lenne are alike as well. The baby will feel like we are its real parents and we will be.”

Yuna hugged tidus as close as she could and he did the same to her. He understands! I will have this baby.

Yuna, Rikku, Paine, tidus, buddy, brother, and Shinra all sat on the bridge of the ship looking at one another in an awkward silence. Yuna looked up and smiled nervously, “Ummmm ok….how do I do this?”

Paine got up went over to yuna and pressed the sphere gently against her lower stomach. The sphere disappeared and Paine went back to her spot, “Like that.”

“Uh thanks.” Yuna said as she smiled over at tidus, “Things are gonna change really soon hm?”

“Yeah.” Tidus said as he smiled back leaning against the wall, “But besides the kid nothing will really change. Anyways you should probably get some sleep. You had a rough day.”

“Yeah. Night tidus.” Yuna got up and kissed tidus then walked off to the cabin.

“Awww Ti and Yuna are so close” Rikku cooed causing tidus to shoot her a small glare.

“Makes me wonder how close you and Gippal really are.” Paine said causing Rikku to turn bright red.

“There's nothing between us!”

“Right Rikku, Right.” Paine said as she walked to the cabin, “its dark I'm going to bed.”

That night yuna was tossing and turning in another dream. Her mind was racing through death, love, terror, everything imaginable. Through it all she seen Lenne again this time with rika and it was before they got into the war. Just before.

“Rika please hold onto this sphere. If they find me with it they might think it's something of great importance and destroy it.” Lenne let a tear fall on the sphere, “Rika it's my son. Please rika. I know your son is safe with your sister please just make sure my son is safe too.”

“I will Lenne.” Rika smiled, “So what're you naming the little devil?”

Lenne laughed, “Shuyin has been having a bad habit of calling it Tristan so let's go with that.”

Rika nodded, “If he's like his trouble making daddy then that's great!”

Lenne nodded as well then smiled Rika I shall miss you my best friend. Please make sure someone saves my baby.

A week later yuna was lying in bed horribly sick to her stomach. She was nauseous, dizzy, sweaty, and had an awful metallic taste in her mouth. Rikku made it a habit to place a small garbage can next to Yuna's bed at night and again in the morning incase the sickness came over again causing her to get sick.

“Awww poor yunie.” Rikku murmured as she was standing on the deck of the ship spraying the inside of one of the garbage cans with a hose, “she keeps on getting sicker.”

“She sort of asked for this.” Said a voice behind Rikku.

“Huh?” Rikku looked behind her to be face to face with buddy, “Eh, hi buddy I didn't hear you come up.”

“Heh sorry about that.” Buddy smiled, “so brother has been feeding me bits and pieces of information from your diary. Any of it true?”

Rikku turned several shades of red, “I um….look what's a squatter monkey doing on the ship?!”

Buddy looked and as he did Rikku kissed him on the cheek then took off to her room leaving the garbage can to fall and the hose still running.

Buddy registered what happened a few minutes later touched the cheek she kissed then turned off the hose since the can flew over ship anyways, “erm…well…I'd hate to be the guy that gets hit on the head with that.”

Rikku tackled brother to the ground and started beating the crap out of him, “HOW COULD YOU?!”

“Whoa, whoa! Rikku calm down!” Tidus and Paine pulled the raging Rikku back and as Paine tried to calm her tidus helped brother up.

“What's going on? Brother what did you do to make Rikku so pissed?” Paine asked as she forced Rikku to sit down.

“I do not know!” Brother said as he took Tidus's hand and got up.

“LIAR YOU READ MY DIARY TO BUDDY!” Rikku was forced down again by Paine.

“Ah so Rikku's feelings were relieved from their hiding spots.” Shinra said looking over his chair, “but not on purpose of course.”

Rikku sniffed and Paine glared over at brother, “Don't you realize how much Rikku could pour into that thing? You're an idiot for reading her secrets out loud. No one hold her back.” Paine stepped away as she said this allowing Rikku to charge at brother.

“Hey!” Brother took off running and got the elevator before Rikku could catch him leaving her to cry into Paine's arms.

“It's alright Rikku we'll get him later.” Paine shushed her and they caught the elevator when it came back to the cabin.
