A/n: this fic is about Tifa, so if you hate her then WHY THE HELL ARE YOU EVEN READING THIS? Well for those who like Tifa, Cloud and her are 15 and Cloud just joined SOLDIER and Tifa starts to miss him. So she joins SOLDIER but ends up Lieutenant, and Cloud doesn't even notice her, see her, or know who she is! (no he doesn't get amnesia Tifa gets a new name, "Jenn Hart"). R&R and by the way if you EVER want me to continue this then review telling me then I'll continue. (hehe good summary huh? Okay maybe not so good)

TIFA: EX-SOLDIER

Tifa sits alone on the doorstep of her house, awaiting his arrival. As she waits her mind is filled with numerous thoughts and questions, "what will I say? Why isn't he here yet? Did something happen? I hope not, he might just be being himself and oversleeping" It is 7:30 in the morning and as she thought Cloud is sleeping uncomfortably in his small bedroom.

~Nightmare~

Demons sucking life out of people, but not just ordinary people, they were SOLDIERs, a dark figure placing blood carefully on walls, ceilings and floors, visions of Tifa growing impatient, frustrated, and wounded by the demons and the dark figure, Cloud keeps running towards it, but as he inches closer and closer the image goes farther and farther and all of a sudden FLASH two bright white arrows comes shooting from the skies killing the dark figure revealing his face in the bright light of the deadly arrows, it was Sephiroth. Sephiroth killing his best friend and his crush, but Sephiroth hadn't succeeded in killing her… the beam/arrow killed her. Who had shot it? It was fate that brought them together and it was an angel that tore them apart. Sephiroth's last words were, "SOLDIER, Tifa, Jenn, Love, Superior" Tifa's last words were, "I… love you I always have… always will… and I'm sorry… Cloud Strife… good-bye"

~End Nightmare~

Cloud wakes up beads of cold and frightened sweat blankets his forehead he looks at the clock beside him, it says 7:32. He stands up in shock and says to himself, "Oh my god I'm late!!" He gets himself dressed and runs anxiously to see Tifa and see if she was all right. To see if his dream was reality or a scene from the future it would be good and bad both ways, if it was fake then that means she doesn't love him, if it was real then she would proclaim her love on her last living day on earth. As he walks lost in thought down the cobblestone road pondering about the last words of Sephiroth, "I'm going to join SOLDIER, I'm leaving Tifa behind, I don't know anyone named Jenn, I love Tifa, but what does he mean by Superior?"

Tifa yells angrily, "Where the hell have you been?" Cloud stands in front of her, admiring her, he was just happy his horrifying dream was over and the love of his life was all right. It wasn't real and he can tell her about it now.

Cloud began, "well… I'm sorry I'm late… I overslept. But the reason for that was-"

Tifa interrupted him, "I was here since 7:00! I said to come 7:00, I came at that time! I have to tell you about something"

Cloud said, "I'm sorry but I had a nightmare."

Cloud sat down. After 1 minute of awkward silence Tifa sat down and asked, "What was it about?" Cloud said, "No you go first you asked for this meeting and I came, you tell me your story."

"Alright" Tifa began. "All of the boys are leaving… are you?"

Cloud replied in a monotone voice, "I will be leaving." Then he looked at her lovingly and said, "But I will join SOLDIER and I will be strong enough to protect you if there's any dang-"

Tifa interrupted again, "danger right? Yeah I know u already told me about the SOLDIER thing… but what squad are you gonna be in?"

Cloud said, "I'm starting off in the flame squad, then my squad leader will assign me to a mission"

Tifa wrote down what he said on a piece of paper she brought with her and said, "so what was this nightmare you had that made you 30 minutes late?"

"Well" he started, "I was in a dark room, there were a bunch of demons sucking the life out of SOLDIERs, Sephiroth smearing blood on the Shinra walls, strobe-light like visions of you getting angry and hurt by the demons, I kept running to it, but as I got closer… everything else just went further away…"

"What happened after that?" Tifa asked quietly.

"There was a big flash! And 2 arrows came out of the sky. Hitting one of the demons, and the demon turned out to be Sephiroth… and the other hit person was you, Tifa"

"What?!"

"I was surprised too. Sephiroth's last words were, 'SOLDIER, Tifa, Jenn, Love, Superior'"

Tifa asked, "what did I say before I died?"

Cloud didn't say anything.

"So I just died?!"

"No… you said, 'I… love you I always have… always will… and I'm sorry… Cloud Strife… good-bye',"

Tifa gasped in surprise and turned away. (A/N: she was blushing she's not offended, but that's what Cloud thought)

Cloud felt hurt and shocked. He loved her so much, and she just turned away. He stood up and ran to his house and tried not to cry. Tifa turned around, she started crying when she noticed that Cloud ran to his house (a/n: which ironically is next to her house lol) she thought that he didn't love her.
