Sicotto and Irvine sat quietly in their chairs in the first class of the day with Professor Aegwyn. Perhaps to quiet for their own good. Irvine sat in front of an empty seat, where Lega would sit, and Sicotto sat behind it, with an empty seat on each side. So far there were six kids other than them who arrived early and were waiting on the professor. It was five minutes till the class actually started, when Professor Aegwyn and Professor Karowitz came in. "Let me take attendance, Karowitz. Then we'll talk about it after I get them started in their review," Professor Aegwyn stated as he walked to his desk. The rest of the students came in soon after and the professor began to see who was missing. He came across the three empty seats, along with a fourth one. "Strife…Cyril…Yahto…and Vanhut," he mumbled to himself as he walk to a phone hanging on the wall behind him and dialed a number. While he waited for someone to pick up the phone, Professor Aegwyn looked at the other professor and asked, "How many Chocobos are missing?" "Three," Karowitz answered. Professor Aegwyn motioned him to sit down at the desk.

"Hello, Nurse Verga speaking," someone answered the other line.

"Hello, Verga. This is Professor Aegwyn. I'm calling to see if you have a few students of mine."

"Who would they be?"

"Salira Strife, Raven Cyril, Lega Yahto, and Holren Vanhut."

"Vanhut I have, yes. He broke his arm this morning. About the other three, no. I haven't seen them. Strife was supposed to check in, however, but she didn't. I was just going to call you about it."

"So you don't have the trio then. Alright I'll try to find them. Bye," Professor Aegwyn remarked before he hung up the phone. He turned to Professor Karowitz; "Strife, Yahto, and Cyril aren't in the infirmary. If they were with Headmaster Riku, I would have gotten a call or something earlier." Professor Karowitz looked at the class then back at Professor Aegwyn; "Who knows where those three are. Did Salira check in?" Professor Aegwyn shook his head no. The classroom grew into soft whispers. Sicotto and Irvine exchanged looks. They were the only ones not talking, and Professor Karowitz noticed. "Almaskey…Heroan…Come here," Karowitz remarked as he got up and walked outside the classroom. Sicotto and Irvine followed. Aegwyn got the class started in reviewing their magic skills and then, too, walked outside the classroom, shutting the door behind him.

"You two are really quiet. It's not you. Why's that?" Professor Karowitz asked the two students. Sicotto and Irvine didn't answer the question.

"You guys don't happen to know where Strife, Yahto, and Cyril are, do you?" Professor Aegwyn asked. The two students looked at the professors then to each other and quickly shook their head no. "They know," Aegwyn confirmed, "Where are they?"

"I don't know. I haven't seen them since last night," Irvine remarked.

"I haven't seen Salira and Raven since the BRMSeeD class, and Lega since about an hour after it," Sicotto replied.

"Really…Then why has Professor Centris said she saw you two and Strife at the training center?" Karowitz asked.

"Umm…well…," Sicotto started.

"We were getting ready for our exams," Irvine cutted in.

"So you two have seen them," Karowitz stated.

"Where are they? Tell us now!" Aegwyn demanded.

"They ran off!" Irvine said as fast as he could.

"Way to go, dumb ass!" Sicotto quietly sneered at Irvine, "Now we're target practice!"

"Karowitz take them to the Headmaster's office. He'll take it from here. This probably explains the missing Chocobos, too," Aegwyn said as he walked back in the classroom.

"Come one you two…Now!" Karowitz demanded as he began to walk to Riku's office. The two students followed in fear.

--

"What do you mean they ran off?!" Riku yelled. He was frustrated after hearing that Salira, Raven, and Lega ran away. Sicotto and Irvine slouched in their chairs, while Karowitz explained what he knew to Riku. Once he was done, Riku sent harsh glares at the two students. "You're dismissed, Karowitz. I'll take it from here," Riku remarked. Professor Karowitz left the office and Riku remained silent. There was a long pause, then he began to talk, "What is wrong with you kids these days?! First running off, then trying to hid their backs! You all know that you are not to leave this campus at all unless you have permission from me or if someone is here to pick you up! We're surrounded by a forest; and it's very likely you can get killed if not skillfully trained or have a professor with you, or even someone else who is well trained, in there with all those monsters and crap like that!" There was a moment of silence while Riku tried his best to calm down. He sat down in his seat and looked at the two students while picking up the phone and dialing a number. "We're going to explain this to Salira's father first, then Lega's guardians, then Raven's…" Riku stated as he held the phone up to his ear and waited for someone to pick up. Irvine and Sicotto were scared.

Cloud was in his room, while Sethrinn was in the living room waiting for him. "How long does it take to put gel in your hair and style it?" Sethrinn mumbled to herself. They were going to go for a walk around the area to talk for a while. The phone began to ring and Sethrinn answered it for Cloud, "Hello?"

"This is Headmaster Riku from the academy Salira's enrolled in. Is Cloud Strife available?"

"Uh…hold on," Sethrinn remarked. Great what is it this time! Can't that girl get people to stop calling here because of what she does?, Sethrinn thought to herself. She held her hand over the phone; "Cloud, someone's on the phone from that academy your daughter's in!" Cloud came out and Sethrinn handed the phone to him then sat on the couch, reading a book that was sitting on the table. This is going to take forever!

"Hello, this is Cloud," Cloud remarked.

"Yes, Mr. Strife. I am calling to inform you on your daughter Salira."

"What's going on?"

"It seems that your daughter ran off and two of her friends went after her."

"WHAT!"

"I have two students in here that will help explain this. Sicotto Almaskey and Irvine Heroan. They happen to know what the situation is."

"Why did she run off and where is she?" Cloud asked, shocked. Sethrinn over heard. Salira left…damn it…oh well…it just means death is even closer to her, Sethrinn thought as she silently, yet quickly, left Cloud's house unnoticed.

"The students say that she ran off because of a problem over where you live."

"And where is she or where's she heading at this moment?!"

"I'm just know going to find that out…" Just as Riku was speaking the dial tone interrupted and cut him off. "Hello? Hello?!" Cloud hung up the phone and turned to face Sethrinn, but she was gone. Something's up…and it's not going to be fun to find out what. Cloud ran to his room and picked up his sword, then dashed out of the house. She's heading for here, I bet. But where? He began to search Sector 7 for any signs of Salira.

Back at Black Rose Academy, Riku's head slammed on the desk. A large thin blade went through his back and into his stomach with blood everywhere. He was dead. The man who had killed him had softly hung up the phone and stood behind the dead body. "Where the hell is she?!" the man demanded at the students. He began to walk around them and then stood between them. His long white hair moved freely with the gust of wind blowing through the small opening in the window and his eyes were a piercing green. It was Sephiroth. Irvine and Sicotto stayed quiet. They had no idea what was going to happen. "I said, where the hell is Strife's daughter!" Sephiroth demanded quite loudly. He walked over to Irvine and held his hand out as if he was going to smack him hard. Sephiroth looked at Sicotto and walked over to him, picking up Irvine by the collar of his shirt. As he approached Sicotto, Sephiroth threw Irvine into a bookcase behind them. Irvine was knocked out cold after he banged his head into the bookcase. Sephiroth was about to do the same thing to Sicotto, when Sicotto blurred out, "She's going to Midgar!" Sephiroth stopped.

"Midgar you say?" Sephiroth remarked. He began to mumble some words and Irvine became conscious again. "Now it wasn't that hard to tell me, now was it? So she's heading to Midgar…hmm…She won't be hiding from me much longer. Not much longer at all…," Sephiroth said, showing a small grin, "If you two get in the way of my task, I'll make sure you'll pay dearly." Leaving his blade in Riku's body, there was a sinister laugh and Sephiroth disappeared. Just then, Professor Centris and another student came into the room. "Professor Centris…umm…we can explain!" Irvine started. He saw the student move from behind the professor to see what was going on; "Mayona?"

Centris screamed as she saw the dead body on the desk, while Mayona did nothing. Blood covered the desk and stained the chair along with the floor; it was everywhere. Centris and Maya noticed the sword left in the body. "Sephiroth…" Mayona mumbled. "Sephiroth's back? No, this can't be!" Centris shrieked, "Mayona, go get the nurse quickly!" As soon as she stopped talking, the blade disappeared from the scene. Centris quickly took the students out of the room and went to get the other professors, while Maya went to go get the nurse.
