“Listen… I'm not the bad guy… I just want some information and you'll be on your way back to your fiancée… simple as that,” Kuja said, a dark look in his eyes, “will you give me the information?”

“Depends on what you want to know…”

Kuja laughed cold-heartedly.

“Then… just tell me… have you ever heard of an alternate universe?”

“Y-yes…”

“Have you heard of the Mako Reactor?”

“Huh?”

“It's in Midgar… heard of it?”

“N-no…”

He grabbed her throat.

“Tell me…or you and you fiancée die…”

He held onto her throat even tighter.

“Y-yes… the- Mako reactor… they use this stuff called the- lifestream… to power stuff- that's all I know- but- it's only a- legend…”

Kuja smiled and let go of Princess Garnet's neck.

He left her alone once again to cry and to miss her fiancée.

I wonder if he misses me as much as I miss him…

 

Zidane had been pacing for hours. He couldn't stand it for much longer. He was going to go insane if he couldn't get out of there soon…

Dammit… this room is sealed… there isn't even a vent or anything…

He had only way out… he would have to break out through the window…

Zidane grabbed a chair and broke through the window.

There was a long way till the ground…

With that, he jumped.

 

Cloud woke up, his head swimming. He couldn't believe that he was still alive after that huge battle. He couldn't believe that he had cured all of the kid's geostigma… and he couldn't believe that he had a wedding ring in his pocket.

Today was the day.

After all that Tifa and him had been through, it was finally the time to settle down.
