Matrix walks into the town of Kalm, which is decorated for Christmas.
 
Matrix: I love Christmas.
Matrix walks up to a house and knocks on the door. The door opens and there stands Tifa.
 
Matrix: Merry Christmas Tifa!
 
Tifa: Merry Christmas Matrix!
Tifa hugs Matrix. Tifa lets go 2 minutes later.
 
Tifa: Where have you been hiding yourself?
 
Matrix: I've been living in the Ancient city.
 
Tifa: For 15 years?!
 
Matrix: Yup.
 
Tifa: Don't you get lonely?
 
Matrix: All the time.
 
Tifa: Then why do you stay up there?
 
Matrix: Because....
 
Tifa: Because of Aeris? Matrix nods his head.
 
Tifa: You can't give up on life just because Aeris is dead, you have a lot of friends that care about you, you need to move on.
 
Matrix: I guess you're right.
 
Tifa: I know I am, now come in and get warm, you must be freezing.
 
Matrix: (Shivering)Yeah. A little.
Matrix walks into the house, takes off his jacket and boots, then walks into the living room.

Cloud looks over.

The doorbell rings.
 
Tifa: Hello. Yuffie!

Yuffie walks into the living room. She spots Matrix.

Yuffie hugs Matrix. She lets go 2 minutes later.

The doorbell rings again.
 
Tifa: Hello. Barret! Vincent! Cait Sith! Cid! Elena! Reno! Rude! Red XIII! Come in!
Barret, Vincent, Cait Sith, Cid, Elena, Reno, Rude, and Red XIII walk into the living room.
 
Matrix: Hey guys!
 
Barret: Matrix! Where have ya' been all dis' time foo?!
 
Matrix: I've been living in the Ancient city.
 
Elena: For 15 years?!
 
Matrix: I decided to stay there after.
 
Elena: Aeris's death, and the battle with Sephiroth?
 
Matrix: Yeah, but I think i might move back here.
 
Elena: That's great news!
Elena hugs Matrix. She lets go 2 minutes later.
 
Matrix: I owe it all to Tifa.
Tifa blushes
 
Tifa: I just said you have friends that care about you, and that you should move on.

Matrix sits on the sofa.
 
Elena: It's Christmas Eve everyone.
 
Matrix: I'll be right back.
Matrix gets up and runs out the door.
 
Elena: What's with him?
 
Barret: The foo probably jes' went to get his gifts.
 
Elena: Oh.
Matrix comes back 2 hours later with an armload of wrapped gifts.
 
Matrix: Sorry.
 
Tifa: It's okay.
Matrix sits the gifts under the tree.
 
Barret: It's time to open gifts foos.
 
Cloud: Tifa. You go first.
 
Tifa: Thank you Cloud.
Tifa opens the package from Cloud.
 
Tifa: An engagement ring?!
 
Cloud: Yeah.
Tifa kisses Cloud, and he kisses her back. They stop 2 minutes later. Tifa opens the package from Barret.
 
Tifa: Wine!
 
Barret: The finest in all of Kalm.
 
Tifa: Thank you Barret!
Tifa hugs Barret. She lets go a minute later. Tifa then opens the package from Yuffie.
 
Tifa: A rock!?
 
Yuffie: A magic rock.
 
Tifa: Uh. thanks. uh.. I think.
Tifa opens the package from Vincent.
 
Tifa: A picture of Cloud and me at that picnic. Thank you Vincent.
Tifa hugs Vincent. She lets go a minute later. Tifa opens the package from Reno.
 
Tifa: A bottle of wine.
 
Reno: The best in all the dumps.
Reno feels a punch in his face.
 
Tifa: Thanks for nothing you jerk!
 
Cait Sith: Tifa?
 
Tifa: Yeah?
 
Cait Sith: I'll tell your fortune.
 
Tifa: Okay.
 
Cait Sith: Let's see.... You will die a horrible, horrible bloody death in a car crash thanks to Matrix, who is an idiot behind the wheel.
 
Tifa: Why you little!
 
Matrix: Shut up or die you stupid robotic freak of nature.
 
Cait Sith: The moogle made me do it.
 
Moogle: UGH!! (Quit lying or i'll dip you in the flea bath!)
 
Cait Sith: NOOOO!!! Not the flea bath!! I'll be good!
Tifa opens the package from Rude.
 
Tifa: A new pair of gloves! Thank you Rude!
Tifa hugs Rude. She lets go a few minutes later. Tifa opens the package from Elena.
 
Tifa: A new outfit! Thanks Elena.
Tifa hugs Elena. She lets go a few minutes later. Tifa opens the package from Matrix.
 
Tifa: A necklace. Thank you Matrix!
Tifa hugs Matrix. She lets go 3 minutes later.
 
Matrix: I thought you'd like that.
 
Cloud: It's my turn.
20 minutes later.
 
Cloud: It's your turn Elena, you're the only one who hasn't gone yet.
5 minutes later.
 
Elena: I'll open the last gift, which has to be from Matrix.
Matrix smiled. Elena opens the small package. She finds a Diamond ring.
 
Elena: An engagement ring?
 
Matrix: Yeah, but if you don't want.....
Elena hugs Matrix, then she kisses him, and he kisses her back. They stop 5 minutes later.
 
Matrix: Is that a yes.
 
Elena: Yes.
Matrix kisses Elena, and she kisses him back. They stop 3 minutes later.
 
Barret: Congrats man!
Barret slaps Matrix on the shoulder.
 
Matrix:(Rubbing shoulder) Thanks Barret.
Tifa hugs Matrix and Elena.
 
Tifa:(Tears in her eyes) I'm so happy for you two.
 
Matrix: Well, i'd better get going.
 
Elena:(Tears in her eyes) I thought you were moving back.
Matrix hugs Elena.
 
Matrix: Don't cry, i'm just going back to get anything i left at the Ancient City.
Elena smiles through her tears.
 
Elena: I'll see you when you get back.
Matrix smiles and kisses Elena on the head.
 
Matrix: Seeya.
Matrix leaves the house. 3 days later.
 
Elena: Where is he?
 
Tifa: Elena.
He should probably be back today. Tifa hears the doorbell. She walks out of the room, and opens the door.
 
Tifa: Matrix?!
Elena runs out to the front door.
 
Elena: Matrix!
Elena throws herself into Matrix's arms, and kisses him, and he kisses her back. They stop 2 minutes later.
 
Elena: Did you get everything you needed?
 
Matrix: Yup. I also bought a house.
 
Elena: That's great news.
 
Tifa: So, when's the wedding?
 
Elena: In two weeks.
 
Matrix: Let's start getting ready.
They begin preparing the wedding. Two Weeks Later.
 
Matrix: I do.
 
Elena: I do.
 
Minister: You may now kiss the bride.
Matrix kisses Elena, and she kisses him back. They then go on their honeymoon.
 
Matrix: Isn't this nice?
 
Elena: Absolutely.
Matrix kisses Elena, and she kisses him back. They then knew they would spend the rest of their lives together.
