Many dry leaves fell from barren trees that day. Crushed at the heels of worn thin boots, to be forever forgotten by the world around them. Such a cruel fate of those who lived their lifetime in the fading sunlight. Memories of the events that had occurred in the past sketched on the veins, left to be forgotten. Fate? The sick realization that you begin alone and remain alone... Boots branching off into separate directions, it had begun. The last breath of life saw the future destiny of those who guarded everything with all they had. Their fate would never walk alone.

Freshly fallen snow, flakes clustered on top of one another, the dawn of a new day. Sparkles of light danced on the untouched glory. Awaiting the moment it would be ruined by foot of paw, the awaking sun kept its steady pace upward into the ever lightening blue skies.
Meanwhile, In the city of Narshe, the plans for the future began.
“We need to re-assemble the Returners my King.”
The once young and eager healer of the group of outlaws know as the Returners, frantically paced the room. A grizzly man he had and always will be, the only difference in Bannon’s life was the cresting greys among the fierce red mass of hair upon his head.
Sapphire eyes followed his every step, as a long sigh escaped the Kings’ mouth. Worn thin from the continuing battles he has endured with his citizens, King Edgar of Figaro rested his chin upon his knuckles.
“Don’t you think I have thought of this Bannon? The only problem we faced was the end of the world back then... now it is a government rising up, with attentions we don’t know.”
With a pause, Bannon himself stopped his pointless wanderings to stand in what seemed deep thought.
“...What I would give to have Sabin, Locke, Cyan, Terra, Celes, and all the others to help out once again, but... Many lives were taken, and many want to start.”
A startled outburst, and a booming voice that shook the small house’s wall came in reply.
“But it is also those lives that know what could and is happening. Those once and future soldiers of the world understand what is at stake... and who should be in power. My King, we need them once again not only to keep the peace, but bring you to the power Figaro was destined to withhold.”
Another sigh, and the creaking of a wooden chair equally worn down by the years.
“I’ll see what I can do Bannon... as King though, I have limited access to leave my throne. You however, can go almost anywhere you wish...so with that, search high and low. And hopefully we can find out old friends.”
Last words holding onto the stale air for longer that needed, the King of Figaro made his exit. Leaving the old healer to a old burden yet again.
