Final Fantasy VII: End of the Chaos
"I will not become a mere memory" and with that Sephiroth wrapped his one black angel wing around himself and fadded away, revealing a defeated Kadaj.
That event happened about 10 years ago now. So much has happened since then, the Neo-Midgar project has finally be completed only with coal reactors instead of Mako reactors, thanks the the efforts of Barret Wallace and Avalanche.
The town of Kalm has built on but nothing major.
The people of Nibelheim have awakened from there trance that they were in from Sephiroth's brainwashing to fool Cloud.
Gongaga finally cleaned up there reactor and town with Shin-Ra's blessing and donations presented by Reeve.
The lower section of Junon has been completely abandoned and the residents built homes on the other side of the cliff that the city was on.
Fort Condor is still populated only with a few more residents now, and the baby condor has grown up and still lives on top of the reactor.
Nothing has changed about Costa del Sol, it's still a tourist hot spot.
After the passing of Bugenhagen, Nanaki became the sole protecter of Cosmo Canyon, not that it was in danger anymore with Seto still standing strong as ever.
North Coral, with the help of Dio was finally able to rebuild and become as beautiful as it was before.
Gold Saucer was still a gambling paridice and even built on to some of its sections and Prison town has been untouched.
Rocket Town rebuilt after the launch of Shin-Ra 28, but has lost most of it's appel now that the rocket was gone.
Mideel has since been abandoned and only the remains of some building and a lake of Mako is left.
Icicle Inn has made the snow trails safer with warm huts and markers all over the place.
And lastly, the Village of Wutai was on the rise again, finally recovering from the Great War, thanks to the tireless efforts of Yuffie and and her father, Lord Godo.
As for the heros of the Sephiroth Crisis.
Cloud and Tifa are living in a bar on the upper plate of the rebuilt Sector 7, but they still live there own seperate lives.
Barret is the head of a big oil drilling and coal mining company with the head office in North Coral.
Nanaki(Red XIII) as mentioned before is living piecefully in Cosmo Canyon helping out the townspeople and keeping it safe.
Cait Sith has since been retired and Reeve is still head of Urban Devolopment.
Yuffie is busy rebuilding Wutai to its former glory and is rumored to be engaged.
Vincent has sence disappeared and is believed to have finally found peaceful rest.
And lastly, Cid is now Head of Shin-Ra's Space program, replacing Palmer 4 years after his death in Rocket Town.
Everyone has finally been able to regain the lives they had once lost due to Shin-Ra and Sephiroth. With President Rufus now almost powerless in worldly affairs and the Mayor of Midgar finally in control of the city, Shin-Ra has become just a technology advancement company.
Thats just the surface though.....
Rumors of Sephiroth's reappearance have spread throughout the world as the number of monsters once again is on the rise. A barrier of unknown origan is surrounding Mt.Nibel and the reactor there has not been shut down. A psychotic laugh is said to be coming from the Shin-Ra mansion, but noone dares enter it. As word spreads, it reaches Cloud on a day as normal as the next, and as he prepairs for his trip to Nibelheim, his old home town, he remembers the words that have haunted him for 10 years, "I will not become a mere memory."
