Why?

Why is this world

so messed up?

Humans running up a muck.

If you’re strong,

people will use you.

If you’re weak

people will control you.

If you’re different

people will hate you.

No matter what

you never win.

Fate always rears

It’s ugly head.

We say we fear

monsters, demons,

forbidden creatures.

But who here

is the real terror?

Humans are pathetic.

We snap on the

littlest of things.

We’ll cry, scream,

and over react on everything.

Where is the love

that people like me seek?

Am I doomed

to forever wander around

this endless sea of decay?

Wrapped thickly by

shades and shades of gray.

Tell me.

I must know.

Surely you must know?

You sent me to die,

making me well aware,

with every minute to spare.

I didn’t want die.

Only being known,

as one of the final genocides.

Meeting groups of people,

who just couldn’t get me.

“I will protect you”

How?

How can you protect one,

he who cannot protect himself?

“I’m atoning for my past deeds”

What exactly does this mean?

Taking the easy way out are we?

Only one could see through me.

Right from the beginning.

She knew I had a name.

It wasn’t Cetra, the last one,

the savior, the sacrifice...

It was Aeris and she knew.

Making plans of the future,

INCLUDING me.

Treating me like the person

I had always wanted to be.

Sometimes I can’t help but ask

why me?

Out of all, why I was

destined to die?

Please, oh mother Gaea,

tell me...

Why?
