Chapter 6: On Second Thought...
***Author's note: Okay this is what I think would happen if Cloud
didn't go to Tifa's wedding. So like disregard the whole last sentence
in chapter 5 or whatever. It's gonna most likely be very short. *
Cloud lay in his dark bedroom, the roof had sprung a leak and it was
dripping on his floor. He listened to the rain drip onto his wooden
floor. He decided not to attend Tifa's wedding, rather let fate decide
whether he and Tifa would ever be together or not. `Tifa's probably
sating her "I do's" right now.' Cloud thought. `It better all around
that I'm not there. I'd probably say something stupid and ruin it and
Tifa would hate me forever.' A tear rolled down his tanned cheek. This
was the second woman Cloud had loved and lost. He began to think that
maybe he would never have a woman to love him as much as he her and
stick around and not die or marry some guy.
He went to his front door and stepped out into the cold, wet day. He
walked barefoot though the wet sand and onto the beach. Already
soaking he sat onto one of the white beach chairs and watch the
thunderclouds roll in over the sea. The wind began to pick up. A bolt
of thunder electrified the horizon. He watched the storm come closer
and closer to shore then decided to head inside.
***I dunno why I made him go outside just a random thing to fill space
I suppose. *
He trudged into the villa sopping wet. He slammed the door and sloshed
his way to his room to change into drier clothes. As he dressed there
came a knocking at his door. He ignored it figuring it was the
annoying mailman again so he ignored it. He finished dressing and
again the mailman knocked. Cloud angrily walked to the door, "DAMNIT I
FUCKING TOLD YOU LEAVE IT UNDER..." He opened the door, "...the door."
There soaking wet was Tifa semi-crying in her normal clothes and
alone. Cloud stood frozen in surprise.
"H-hey Cloud." she choked.
