Chapter 3: Castle; Unneeded trouble
The sun rose for another day, Rikku was thankful she was underground or she'd be a nonexistent princess vampire. She had been traveling on the Gargant for what seemed to her like minutes, but in reality it had been a few hours. The Gargant had the capability to travel against time and that is what Rikku needed. With Yuffie and their fathers gone, Rikku was alone to rule for all of the vampires. After a few minutes or running in the caves, the Gargant stopped. Rikku looked at the beast in confusion and then shook her head.
"What's the matter spidey?" Rikku asked the Gargant. The Gargant slowly back away and squealed making Rikku flip off onto the ground. "Hey, that's not very nice!" Rikku called out to the beast. After a few seconds of hearing the Gargant screech, Rikku sighed and continued on her way through the dark tunnel.
((I wonder if Yuff's okay, I hope those damned lycan's didn't do anything they'd regret to her)) Rikku thought while shaking her clawed hand. Unaware of where she was stepping, Rikku tripped. "What the–" Rikku began but stopped when she picked herself up she met her eyes with two piercing green ones. "Holy Machina…" Rikku whispered flabbergasted. The green eyes belonged to none other than a gigantic snake. "Sna-sna-SNAKE!" Rikku screamed as she rushed upwards. The snake hissed at Rikku's movement and began to 'play with its dinner'.
Before Rikku could dodge its attack, the snake's long tail met with Rikku's torso making her fly into the distance. The thief gave out a loud yelp making it echo throughout the tunnel as she landed at the other end of the tunnel with a thud. Before Rikku could pull herself back together again the large snake slithered over to her and coiled itself aroung her.
"Heh, no wonder the Gargant left in such a hurry," Rikku managed to joke as she opened her pouch on her thigh and grabbed a few rendom items. After mixing the miscellaneous items, Rikku threw the new compound at the snake's eyes making a black substance surrounded it, letting her go in the process.
"Ouchie," Rikku coughed as her bottom hit the ground. "Ha, you blind snake. Two points for Rikku!" Rikku grinned. Using her clawed glove, Rikku leaped and scratched the snake's face. The snake hissed in pain and then slithered away from Rikku into one of the caves ahead.
Shortly after the snake disppeared, the Gargant crawled back and awaited for the passenger to climb aboard. Using her vampire abilities, Rikku jumped onto the fifteen foot high carriage and the spider sped off. "Sleep time at last!" Rikku yawned. The thief then fell into a deep sleep.
"Sudran, tell me the guardian story again," A young Rikku pleaded. A woman with similar eyes and hair as her daughter smiled at the child and nodded.
"I'll tell you again, but you have to promise not to go out before the sun sets, okay," She asked. "Pinky promise, Rikku," The woman pouted. The younger Rikku extended her frail hand and then her pinky, the woman instantly wrapped her pinky around it and began to tickle her.
"Mommy, quit it," Rikku giggled. Rikku's mother smiled and then lifted her child up and cradled her.
"You'll be turning six tomorrow, I want you to promise me something," Rikku's mother said sternly changing her voice instantly.
"Yes Mommy,"
"If Mommy or Daddy dies, please take care of your self and Yuna, this war is getting out of hand day by day," Rikku looked at her mother questionably but then smiled fully not understanding the promise.
"Okay Mommy!"
"Good, now let's see here," Her mother began, she carried her child to a small bed and placed her into it. "Once upon a time, a beautiful princess was born and her name was known throughout the land. Her mother died shortly after, leaving the princess with her father.
"By the time the princess was fifteen her father had arranged a wedding for her, the princess was devastated and would not talk to her father at all. A war broke out soon and the only thing the princess could do was marry the man she did not know.
"The princess finally agreed to the wedding making her father proud. The princess cried and cried until she fell asleep. And since a war was occurring-"
"What does occurring' mean Mommy," Rikku interrupted sleepily.
"It means happening', now if you interrupt me again I'll tickle you to sleep," Her mother teased, Rikku stuck her tongue out and allowed her mother to continue her favorite story. "Now where was I, oh, there we go. Since a war was happening the father ordered the best swordsman of their clan to protect the girl. Unknown to her father, the princess fell instantly in love with the swordsman and he did with her. The more-"
"Ahem" Rikku's mother was interrupted by a lady with long dark brown hair.
"Yes Mrs. Lockhart?"
"Please come with me," She said then left. The blonde smiled then looked at her sleepy child.
"Remember the promise Rikku," She stated then began to walk out of the room, with one last whisper she smiled, "E muja oui (I love you)," Then the younger Rikku fell asleep.
-------
When Rikku awoke, the Gargant had already stopped. Rikku got out of the lift and silently thanked the large spider. The Gargant rode off into another deep dark tunnel. Rikku took out her PHS and looked at the time, it had changed.((Vilg(fuck), I'm in Gaia, I forgot about the time)) Rikku mentally cursed. "Cid Highwind can't make anything worth a bad machina, now I have to stay in a hotel,"
Rikku was dropped off at a cliff, similar to the one at Zanarkand Ruins. There was an opening which had a light torch next to it, Rikku smiled and lifted the torch then walked down the opening. After a few minutes of walking Rikku saw a ladder, she put the wooden torch in her mouth and began to climb.
((Humans… can't they invent anything, like an elevator or something, must us vampires do everything ourselves)) Rikku screamed inside her head. She hated the taste of wood and she hated the way her hands were getting all blistered up.
The ladder stopped and Rikku could feel a circular metal opening. With one of her free hands she easily plopped the lid off and climbed out. Rikku took the torch out of her splintered mouth and threw it down the dark hole. Rikku noticed she was in a work place. There was a manual motor which Rikku guess was for a windmill and there was another ladder for who knows what. Rikku shut the hole with the lid she knocked off and sealed it shut.
"Now where am I?" Rikku asked. Rikku flipped her PHS and clicked for a map. It took about five minutes until it found her location. "Oh, so I'm in Dali… a farm," Rikku pouted. "Hey it's not far off from the castle," Rikku smiled. The vampire then clicked the PHS and shut it off to preserving its energy. ((I almost forgot Gaia runs on mist)).
There were two doors, one had a single door and the other had a double. Rikku could tell the double doors led outside to the sun, since she saw it peeking through, and the other probably led to shelter. "I'll take my chances," Rikku whispered. She opened the single door to find she was right, but a man sleeping in there. ((Well at least he's asleep))
Rikku searched the man's house looking for something to cover up until she reached to an inn. While searching the drawers, Rikku spotted a large key. The inscriptions on it were not of her tongue so she put it in her pouch. ((I might make use to this on day))
Rikku found an umbrella and grinned. Smiling, she thanked the man and quickly dashed out of his house and into the windmill house she was at before. Rikku opened the umbrella above her head and opened the other doors leading outside. Stepping outside into the warm air, she smiled, thinking of her home, or at least the remains of it.
Rikku didn't dare to look at the sun or even touch outside the shade, even if people were giving her odd glances, Rikku wouldn't take the chances.
The blonde thief entered an item shop and asked the kind young lady where the inn was. The young lady told her it was across the street and Rikku thanked the girl.
When Rikku entered the small inn, she noticed that the innkeeper was sleeping and a cat was lying on a fireplace. The blonde casually walked over to the man's desk and poked him with her tied up umbrella.
"Wha-what?" The innkeeper asked abruptly, "I was having a good dream," He then looked up and saw Rikku. "Oh, a vampire,"
Rikku snorted and looked to the side. "Oh how perceptive you are," Rikku said in a mocking tone.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever, that'll be one hundred gil from you,"
"What, that's double price on what you deal for humans," Rikku blurted out. The innkeeper grinned and stuck his hand out.
"One hundred or sleep in the sun, baby," He laughed.
"Damn you and you're stupid knowledge, human," Rikku cursed as she paid her money to the innkeeper who instantly fell back asleep again. ((Why can't merchants not know about us... why can't we just all live in our worlds?)) Rikku sighed. As soon as she opened the door, tot he only room, Rikku turned around and looked at the sleeping man. She then slyly snatched his money pouch and ran into her room. It had four beds and a fountain in the middle of the room for water and whatever else. ((I'll take a relaxing shower and scrape all this dry, nasty blood off)) Rikku concluded.
Rikku walked over to the bathroom and shut the wooden door. Rikku lighted the candle and untied and unbraided her long blonde hair. ((Damn Gaia, they need to update. Why don't they just use machina?))
The candled light had barely enough light sources to provide in the little bathroom, making Rikku sigh in annoyance. Rikku discarded the rest of her clothes and looked at the tiny mirror up front of her.
"Too bad I can't see how ugly I look," Rikku sighed. She spun around and turned the dial for the bath to start. After a few minutes of letting the water run, Rikku slid inside the tub.
"Rikku?" A voice echoed. Rikku opened her green weary eyes to see that she was under water. Rikku began to panic and swam upward. There was no sign of surface anywhere which made Rikku in even more panic.
"Rikku, find your guardian, he'll protect you," The voice said. It was a female voice, but Rikku didn't pay any attention to that, she needed air and fast. "Don't worry about Lord Cid and Lord Godo, Rikku," She said, it echoed so much which made Rikku's head spin in circles.
((I'm going to die, no…)) Rikku thought, she kept on swimming, she wasn't wearing her protective goggles because there weren't on her. ((Vilg (fuck), I don't want to die underwater, damn it. Please help me!))
Rikku was on her last ounce of breath and the last thing she heard was "Sephiroth…"
-------
"Get offa me," Yuffie yelled while trying her best to wiggle herself out of his strong grasp. The lycan gunman didn't budge but only stared at her in dissatisfaction. Yuffie could tell she wasn't going to get out of his grasp easily so she momentarily stopped her struggling. "What do you want," Yuffie finally asked. The gunman removed his claw from her waist and quickly covered it beneath his red cape. He looked directly into her navy eyes and silently told her to be quiet. "Huh, I can't hear you," Yuffie yelled. The well trained ninja was tempted to run and leave the gunman but something inside her made her not."Ms. Kisaragi-"
"And how in the Farplane do you know my name," Yuffie roared. "Who are you, and where am I you… you," The vampire screeched not finding the proper name for her enemy. Yuffie only received silence. ((I hope Rikku is okay, because I as hell am not)) Yuffie thought bitterly in her mind. A few guards passed by and searched around making Yuffie immediately shut her loud yap. ((Oh my Leviathan, what if I'm caught, they'll take me to Chaos… or worse, wait there is no worse!)) Yuffie faced toward the quiet lycan at her thoughts and gasped as she looked into his eyes. ((What… his eyes, they're red, a vampire's color!)) Yuffie observably thought.
The lycan tore his gaze from Yuffie and kept quiet. Most of his cape covered his face, like the other lycan she encountered, making Yuffie not get a good look at the raven haired man. The guards continued on and left the two immortals unnoticed. Yuffie turned around to look to see if anyone else was coming and to her satisfaction, there was none. The ninja grinned widely and began to yell. "Okay mister vampire look alike, tell me everything you know, like why am I captivated here and what happen to Godo and my step-uncle, Cid, and-" Yuffie began.
"Miss Kisaragi please lower your voice, I am right in front of you,"
"Answers, I need answers," Yuffie yelled to his face making the gunman force her to the wall. The lycan grabbed Yuffie's frail, pale hands, with his good one, and pinned it above her head, making Yuffie blush slightly. "What, what are you doing," Yuffie snarled.
"Miss Kisaragi, please be quiet, I need to concentrate,"
"Concentrate on what?"
"…"
"Well, answer me, I have no time for this," Yuffie yelled, she tried to wiggle her hands out of his grasp, but she wasn't strong enough. "Damn you,"
The lycan stared intimately into the ninja's eyes telling her silently to shut up again. Yuffie glared back and snorted, she always hated when she lost.
With amazing speed, the lycan let go and moved to the other side of the dark corridor they were in. The lycan looked at Yuffie and then reached inside his cloak to reveal a phone.
"My PHS, holy chocobo's," Yuffie beamed. She quickly grabbed it from his grasp and looked at it suspiciously. "Why did you have it?" Yuffie questioned.
"You need not know," He said in, what Yuffie thought to be, a that's-all-you-get-out-of-me' tone.
"Whatever… now lets see here it's… seven twenty-two v.a. (vampire ascend), damn it, I slept that much," Yuffie screeched. A few more guard passed by complaining about hearing irritating screeches. Yuffie backed up into the darkness more and began dialing. ((Rikks, Rikks, please pick up!))
-------
"What," Rikku screamed. She emerged from the tub and gasped for air. "Did I fall asleep in the tub again," Rikku asked herself, she started to laugh and then got out from the dirty water.Rikku was cleansed and she loved the feel of it. "Eww, I'm so pruney." Rikku grabbed a robe and placed it on her she then opened the door to a sun setting view. Rikku smiled and then shut the blinds, avoiding the sun at all costs.
As Rikku slumped onto the bed her PHS started to ring. "Huh," She asked confused. Rikku jumped up and quickly answered the PHS which was on top of her discarded clothes.
"Rikku Hiroyuki speaking," Rikku answered casually.
"Why don't you use your real last name, Rikku," A feminine voice replied.
"Well Tifa, if anyone found out who I really was I'd be a burnt chocobo stranded on Bikanel," Rikku stated. Tifa giggled and then muted the phone. "Tifa?" Rikku asked.
"Oh sorry, Lulu has something urgent to say," Tifa said quickly and then shuffled the phone to another person.
"Rikku, we have some distraught new going around the covenant house," Lulu's dark feminine voice coldly said. "It's about Yuna,"
"Yunie?" Rikku whispered to herself.
"She getting married," Lulu monotony said. "Fryd(what)!" Rikku yelled. "Wi-with who-who?" The blonde dared ask.
"…Seymour Guado, of the Guado clan,"
"But, what is he thinking?"
"Seymour Guado recently became the Maester of not two, but three vampire clans," Lulu beamed madly, unlike her sister Lulu barely showed her emotions, "This happened when you and Yuffie were werewolf hunting,"
"But Seymour is half human, what would he want with Yunie,"
"Being half lycan and half vampire, and the daughter of the late Maester, I have a pretty good idea where this is going," Lulu sternly said. "Rikku, where are you and Yuffie at now,"
"Um, I'm in Gaia," Rikku choked out.
"In Gaia… that's a far ways off, and where's Yuffie?"
"Hehe, I didn't think you'd catch that. You know how me and Yuffie went lycan hunting?" Rikku asked shyly.
"Rikku, I won't repeat myself,"
"Yuffie… is… with the lycan's," Rikku managed to spit out, making the last part of her sentence fast. Rikku heard a long sigh at the end of her PHS.
"Things just keep on getting worse and worse. Your dad, Lord Godo, and Yuffie are in Spira now and you're in Gaia, the human world,"
"But at least we're alive," Rikku added optimistically, like she always did.
"You don't know that for a fact. Rikku when you're done come back to the 'covenant house',"
"But that means I have to cross water, there's no way,"
"Rikku, we have no time for excuses, I believe something bad will happen to us, this war is getting way to out of hand. Meet us here in eleven v.d., if we aren't there meet us at the Loveless,"
"Okay Lulu, tell Yuna I miss her," Rikku smiled. The blonde heard shuffling noises on the other line and then someone else picked it up. "Bye Rikku, Lulu says bye too," Tifa said warmly. Rikku grinned, said her goodbye, and then hung up.
-------
"What? Busy... Rikku" Yuffie growled. "That's it I'm leaving no matter if the sun's up this place is boring," Yuffie said out loud flipping her PHS off."You can not," The lycan clearly stated.
"Why is that?" Yuffie argued.
"It is not wise to Miss Kisaragi,"
"Quit with the formals, I get that enough at home and all," Yuffie blurted and then walked off. The lycan shook his head and looked away from her knowing she would not go far.
"The sun is up I would not try anything if I were you,"
Yuffie growled and faced him. The lycan ignored her move and grabbed Yuffie and dashed off though the hallways with amazing speed. "Ahhh!" Yuffie yelled as she felt the wind pass her face. ((He's... he's so fast!))
After a few moments of running, they appeared in a dark room, more comforting yet not too homey. The gunman dropped Yuffie onto a bed and sat down at the end. It had black silk sheets covering them and the bed was large enough to fit three people in it, but Yuffie didn't care, she needed answers.
"Sleep," He ordered. Yuffie glared at him and then took her shoes and other unneeded items off. The only thing she wore was her white headband and her shorts and ripped tank top. The gunman looked at her then took his red cloak off revealing a black outfit and his golden claw. Yuffie eyes widened, when realization hit her remembering the Zanarkand Ruins, she mentally blushed.
((How can I forget that? At first it scared me but now it looks neat!)) Yuffie thought. The gunman laid his cloak on the edge of the soft bed and sat beside it. Silence carried throughout the room making Yuffie uneasy. Finally Yuffie came up with the right question to ask.
"Go to sleep," He ordered again, his voice seemed more demanding and less gentle. Yuffie pouted and then plopped onto the bed again. The lights were already out and the sun was blocked and for some reason, but for some reason Yuffie seemed wide awake.
"First tell me, why you have blood eyes like a vampire's?"
"…"
"Oh com'mon, I can't go to sleep without knowing that, and if you won't I'll bug the living daylights out of ya," Yuffie smirked. "And I know that's worse than silver," Making the lycan mentally winced.
"Miss Kisaragi, go to sleep," He ordered again. Yuffie smirked, she was good at annoying people and she'd just use her uprising spirits to annoy the heck out of him until he tells her.
"Well mister…"
"Valentine, Vincent Saint Valentine," He said calmly, introducing himself.
"-Valentine, you chose the hard way, heh, I can even annoy a chocobo and it even doesn't know our language," Yuffie grinned. Picking herself up from the bed, she crawled over to the man dressed in black and looked directly into his eyes.
"Miss Kisaragi, I will not tell you again, go to sleep'," Vincent ordered once again, he sounded tired and worn out.
"Okay, but tell me phu-lease!" Yuffie bellowed. She continued to blabber on until Vincent turned completely around and place his right hand on her shoulder and his claw on her other shoulder.
Vincent slowly leaned into the princess's face and whispered, "Goodnight." Vincent's right hand pressed onto a soft spot on her neck making Yuffie blank out and collapse onto his defined chest.
"Finally, I thought she would never shut up," A gruff voice said, he appeared out of the shadows and walked over to Vincent.
"Auron," Vincent greeted. "You sent Beatrix already," Vincent stated.
"Hn, we're going to end this war even if the vampires and humans are destroyed," Auron said determinedly. Vincent shifted his eyes full onto the sleeping vampire on his lap.
"You know very well this isn't the vampires' war," Vincent said making Auron smirk. Vincent removed the sleeping ninja from him and laid her fully onto the bed. Walking toward the swordsman, Vincent whispered to him, "It's mine," and walked out. The swordsman followed the gunslinger and closed the large doors leaving Yuffie to sleep.
After about an hour of rest, Yuffie twitched and awoke from her state of presence, "What? Why that son of a dog," Yuffie glarred, "He put me to sleep!"
The large doors opened at her words revealing what looked like a rusty suit of armor Yuffie noted as she looked up. "So it is true," The voice bellowed. He then began to jump up and down like a mad man clacking his armor loudly.
The man's voice sounded familiar to her, ((Oh yeah, Steiner, or whatever)) Yuffie thought not even bothering to pay attention. The ninja somersaulted up, grabbed her PHS, and slipped her shoes on.
"What are you doing vampire?" He yelled. Yuffie grinned and then dashed off passed him. "Get back here!" Steiner bellowed being unable to move fast in the rusty, bulky armor.
"Oh yeah, I haven't lost my touch," Yuffie grinned. While she passed the Captain of the Pluto Knights she took all of his materia. Yuffie stuffed the gems into her pocket and proceeded onward.
"Pluto Knights, after the vampire," Steiner ordered. Yuffie could hear a few more clacking of armor, mainly from Steiner's jumping fit, and then couldn't hear it anymore.
((Rikku, I'll be out soon, the sun still hasn't risen)) Yuffie thought excitedly as she flipped the phone down again. She hated being cramped up in this old cruddy so called castle.
In the distance Yuffie heard someone call out to someone, "Lord Chaos," which made Yuffie stop on her long legs. "I'm so glad you're back at your castle,"
((Wait a second! I thought his castle was lost over the centuries! This is Chaos's castle?)) Yuffie thought totally shocked in her mind.
-------
Rikku gathered her dirty clothes and changed into them one-by-one. The thief walked out into the main room where she saw the innkeeper still sleeping. ((Ha, I bet he doesn't even know I took his gil)) Rikku smiled inwardly and whispered goodbye to the sleepy man.Rikku slammed the wooden door open and rushed out into the cool dark night. Browsing around, Rikku saw a lone chocobo near a well.
"Why hello chocobo, I was wondering if I can borrow you for a little while. I just need a ride to the Farplane and after that you can come back," Rikku explained to the bird. Everyone was asleep or eating dinner, which reminded Rikku about her hunger problem, so no one would notice the bird being taken.
Rikku jumped the fence separating the yellow oversized bird and herself and saddled it for the journey ahead of them. The chocobo made a soft kweh sound as she got comfortable and then the chocobo raced off, leaving the farm village behind. Unlike vampire chocobo's, which are gold and green, human chocobo's, yellow ones, have barely any stamina and can't do anything special. But in Rikku's case, she was desperate and took a human chocobo to get around faster.
((I'm so thirsty…)) Rikku thought, she was really famished, she hadn't drunk blood in the longest time, and she was really close lose her control and drain the yellow bird's blood.
After thirty minutes of racing thought the flat lands, the bird collapses and threw Rikku into the distance. "Holy MACHINA," Rikku screamed as she flew in the air. She landed about twenty meters from where the bird died making Rikku mad and walk all the way back to it.
"Poopie, this is not my night," Rikku whined.
"Hey cutie," A masculine voice said from afar. Rikku looked around her and spotted a person in the far distance of the plains.
"Who are you?" Rikku asked warningly. The man disappeared and quickly appeared behind the blonde princess.
"Wow, you really are cute," The man whispered while walking to face her. He had shaggy blonde hair and a fancy, weird outfit on and his eyes were turquoise with a tint of blue. Rikku glared at the man, but inside she giggled. "By the way my name's Zidane Tribal and whom may I have the pleasure of meeting,"
"I'm Rikku Hiroyuki," Rikku gleamed. "But it's no pleasure," she added. Zidane took a step back.
"Hey, hey now," Zidane assured while moving his blonde tail around, Rikku took note of it and looked into Zidane's eyes. "Where are you headed?" He asked.
"The Farplane," Rikku answered casually. She knew that only lycan's, vampires, and high ranking humans, or merchants knew about that place. Zidane returned her glare and sighed.
"The Farplane," He whispered. "That's a far ways off," Zidane smirked. "If you want I can take ya there,"
"So you are lycan," Rikku yelled in realization. She readied her claw and awaited his response. Zidane sweat dropped and shook his head vigorously.
"Whoa, wait, hold on a sec', I'm only half lycan," Zidane said with a panic sad tone, "I didn't expect a cute helpless girl to be a blood sucker,"
Rikku glared and then sighed putting down her weapon. "Since you are a half-breed and you know where to find the Farplane on this planet, I accept your offer," Rikku grinned.
Zidane grabbed her hand and lead her to an incoming ship. "Yeah, my theatre crew, the Tantalus, will give you a lift," Zidane declared. Rikku smiled and then followed his lead. "Hm, I have to ask you, why you have to go there?" Zidane asked, implying 'there' as Guadosalam, as they sprinted toward an incoming ship.
"Let's just say I have to ask a few questions to ask there," Rikku stated not giving away any vital information. It was bad enough Yuffie was missing, but now Seymour of the Guado clan was asking Yunie to marry him, her own blood cousin. And as Yuffie would say, "Grossness,"
"Huh? What's grossness?" Zidane asked as they came closser to the flying ship. "There it is, I'll introduce you to my colleges as soon as we board," Zidane yelled over the propellers. Rikku looked up and saw a few people on top waving at them. Zidane motioned the floating ship to drop something, and if on cue a rope like latter came down. Zidane quickly grabbed it and also grabbed Rikku's torso lifting her up in the process. The ship then took off.
"Hey Zidane," Rikku called out after a few seconds of allowing the wind to fly past her face. At her words the blonde looked at Rikku still in his arms and answered.
"Yeah?" Zidane smirked as he watched Rikku enjoy the view.
"Can we make a short stop at Alexandria Castle?"
"The Ca-Castle?" Zidane stuttered almost losing his balance and dropping her. "Um, why there?" Zidane blushed.
"It's just to talk and visit my friend, the Queen,"
"The Queen?" Zidane blurted out dropping Rikku. Rikku instantly grabbed the side of the rope latter and glared at the man now above her.
"Hey watch what you're doing!" Rikku yelled.
"Heh, heh sorry," Zidane blushed. "Well any ways lets start climbing, it's a thirty minute ride from here, I wouldn't want you to freeze,"
"I can't freeze," Rikku stated, "I'm a vampire, we have cold blood,"
"Oh my bad," Zidane smiled as he began to climb upwards. Shortly after Rikku followed.
-------
"Beatrix, we're here," A low class lycanthrope announced as a whole army of them stopped at the base of the hill of sand she was on top of. The one known as Beatrix nodded and looked over to a large fortress up ahead with her one eye. The woman had thick curls of blonde hair and an eye covered with thick white bandages. Her full body was covered with white armor, save fore her legs, and she wore a large sword at her side making her stand out above all the rest of the troups behind her. "What should we do now?" He asked again. At this the woman cracked a smile and closed her eyes. "We do what we're trained to do," She stated. And at that the sun rose above the plains.
Who is it Today?
It's…… Zidane Tribal... and Assassin Beatrix!
"The best dragon knight of Burmecia, the female general of Alexandria, and Rusty... How could they lose?"
-Zidane Tribal
"There's no difference between them and me. We're all just blindly following orders. My heart and my will mean nothing..."
-General Beatrix
