Warnings: yaoi, lemon, possibly mild angst, AU

Summary: A sequel to 'Be Friendly'. Squall and Seifer meet each other in a High School reunion after eight years.

**AN: This is a sequel to my previous SxS fic 'Be Friendly'. I know Seifer and Squall weren't on the same class, but in this fic
the High School reunion will have people from all the classes, even if that's probably not how it usually goes. I also think the
reunions are held after ten years, but I didn't want the guys to be in their thirties, so the fic takes place 8 years after 'Be
Friendly'. I also suggest you read 'Be Friendly' first.**

High School reunion:

Squall stood before the double doors he was about to enter. The brown-haired man lowered his face and sighed.

'Why am I even doing this? ...For me High School is nothing but painful memories...Do I really, after all these years, wanna go
in there and see all the people who made my time in High School a living hell...?'

He shook his head and turned around to leave, but was stopped by a dark-haired young woman.

"Squall? Squall Leonhart?!"

Squall blinked his storm-coloured eyes, feeling dumbfounded.

'W-what? Who is she??...I'm supposed to know her...?'

The brunette arched his brows and eyed the woman, trying hard to remember who the person was. She had thick, black hair,
placed neatly behind her ears, white pearls around her neck, a light blue dress and a sweet smile on her face.

'She does look familiar...' Squall's eyes widened as he finally recognised the woman.

"R-Rinoa...Heartilly?" he asked hesitantly, not sure if he remembered right. The bright smile that spread onto the woman's face
was enough to let Squall know he had guessed right.

"You do remember me! Wonderful! ...And it's not Heartilly anymore. I'm Mrs. Tyler now." Rinoa smiled, showing her wedding
ring, and before Squall had a chance to say anything back, he was been hugged tightly.

"Oh my gosh! I haven't seen you since you moved away! After we graduated!" Rinoa laughed as she held Squall in her arms
and slowly leaned back from the embrace.

Squall was still feeling quite bewildered. He cleared his throat and stroked his brown hair. "Yeah... My sister got married, so I
was in town and decided to come here when I got the invitation." The brunette explained, feeling Rinoa's eyes all over his body.

"Look at you! You've changed so much...well not that much, but something in you sure is different...and you look good in a
tux." The woman exclaimed. Squall gave a nod and lowered his face, feeling a bit uncomfortable under Rinoa's observing eyes.

"But you're still as shy as you were in High School." Rinoa chuckled, this causing Squall to immediately raise his face and meet
her eyes, a faint blush covering his cheeks now.

"Well, you've changed too Rinoa." Squall noted, his eyes fixed on the woman's stomach. Rinoa followed Squall's gaze and
nodded happily.

"Yes, she's our first. We're expecting her to be born next April." Rinoa explained, gently stroking her round stomach.

"Well come on, let's go in already! I wanna hear what you've been doing after the graduation!" The woman took Squall's arm
and led him in, giving the brunette no chance to escape.

'Damn! ...I wasn't supposed to go in...' Squall cursed inwardly as they entered through the doors.

The dimly lighted big hall was beautifully decorated and filled with people. There were balloons everywhere and banners,
bearing the name of their old High School. A familiar tune sounded in the room, and Squall soon recognised it to be one of the
hit songs from his teen years.

"Squall, let's go over there. I'm a bit thirsty." Rinoa pointed at a table, filled with different drinks and snacks. Squall nodded and
followed her as she led the way.

"Oh look, there's Jane Richards and Monica Watson! I have to go see them later!" Rinoa exclaimed, sounding enthusiastic. As
she spotted more old friends, Squall couldn't help but feel a bit jealous.

'...Yeah, at least you have a cause to be here, old friends....Why am I here?' The brunette asked himself as he poured Rinoa
some juice.

"So tell me Squall, what happened to you after High School?"

Squall handed her the mug and crossed his arms over his chest. "Well...nothing much..." he mumbled, watching the
surroundings.

Rinoa wasn't happy with Squall's answer and wanted to know more. "Oh come on! Don't be like that."

Squall realized he was going to have to give her his life story or else she would bug him for the rest of the night. He leaned
against the table and sighed.

"Fine...After we graduated, I went to study in Boston and now I'm a lawyer. [1] I don't know if it was a dream of mine when I
was 17, but it pays OK....and I still live in Boston. ...I've been thinking about coming back here, to Hilltop...but there's really
nothing for me here." Squall met Rinoa's brown eyes, trying to see from her face if this time, his answer was good enough. The
woman gave a nod and smiled.

"Yeah, this is quite a small town...but me and Billy like it here. It's a perfect place to raise our little girl." she spoke, her eyes
now fixed on Squall's left hand fingers.

"So...you're not married?" she asked, noting the brunette's fingers were free of rings.

Squall blinked his eyes, taken aback by Rinoa's question. He hid his hands behind his back and lowered his face.

"N-no...I'm not..." he mumbled, frowning slightly.

"Oh...well, you'll find the right one, I'm sure of it." Rinoa smiled, noting Squall was obviously feeling uneasy.

"Ah...will you excuse me, I gotta go to the little girl's room...She makes me go there all the time nowadays!" Rinoa laughed,
pointing at her stomach.

Squall nodded and gave Rinoa a polite smile. "Do you want me to take you there, or-"

"No, no! I'm fine. You just stay and have a wonderful time. Maybe I'll see you later." Rinoa shook her head and waved a good
bye as she walked toward the toilets.

When Rinoa was gone, Squall scanned the room with his eyes, seeing many familiar faces in the crowd. He was able to tell the
old 'gangs' had been formed already. The jocks were all gathered in one area, talking to each other. The same with the geeks, the
cheerleaders and the rest of the students. Some of the people were easier to recognise than others. Many of the once so pretty
cheerleaders for example, had now either gained weight or lost their old charms in some other way.

'Who am I even looking for...? It's not like I had any friends back then..' the brunette sighed and lowered his gaze. '...Except for
Zell...But I doubt he's coming here all the way from Europe...' Squall reasoned, remembering his old friend now worked for
some big company in Germany. '...There's no one here for me...at least not the one I want...I'm sure of it. '

The brunette blinked his eyes as a familiar laughter sounded in his ears. He lift his face and looked around, noting a group of
people near by.

'...That can be no one else but Mike Nixon and his famous gang of bullies.' Squall told himself as he watched the source of the
laughter. Even if high school was a long time ago, the brunette found himself gritting his teeth, the old anger inside him
suddenly revived. Squall couldn't stop all the painful memories from rising to the surface as he watched the group of former
jocks.

'I knew it was a bad idea to come here...I should just leave...' Squall sighed, still watching the group of people who bullied him
throughout high school. The brunette narrowed his eyes as the voice of Mike Nixon reached his ears.

"...Yes, I'm doing perfect! Couldn't be better! Just made that really big business deal and I'm living in Hilltop Valley, you know,
the town's elite zone.." The man blustered.

Squall groaned silently. He'd been hoping the old bully hadn't been doing that well. 'It's not fair...he tormented me through High
School with that gang of his...he doesn't deserve a life that great...'

Squall gasped as a voice suddenly spoke from behind his back.

"The truth about Mike Nixon: divorced, alcoholic, has no job, does live in Hilltop Valley, but lives with his parents."

Squall turned around, his greyish eyes meeting with bright green ones. The brunette felt his heart race in his chest, as he
realized who the person standing in front of him was. All Squall could do was stare. Seifer hadn't changed at all. He was just the
way Squall remembered him. He did have a slightly different hairstyle, but other than that, it was the same old Seifer.

After a long silence, the blonde man finally spoke, an amused smirk playing on his lips. "So...Squall...do you still remember
me...?" he asked, giving Squall a questioning look.

The brunette blinked his eyes, the shock of seeing Seifer Almasy after all these years making it hard for him to find any words.

"I...I ...of course I do!...Seifer..." Squall finally spoke, the look on his face astonished.

"Well good...I'd be sad to know you had forgotten. ...The last time I saw you, I was standing in the airport and you were getting
into a plane that would take you to Boston..." Seifer recalled the day he and Squall had broken up, about eight years ago.

Squall nodded, still unable to believe his eyes. "Yeah...I guess that was the last time we saw each other." He spoke in a low
voice, feeling light headed. Squall felt Seifer's eyes on him, scanning him from tip to toes. He glanced to his right and grabbed a
cup of punch, emptying it nervously.

Seifer smirked as he saw the sudden nervousness in Squall's behaviour. '...He's changed, but...then again, he hasn't... He looks
good...And how can he still get that same innocent look on his face...?'

"You look good Squall." Seifer voiced his thoughts. "I myself am pretty much the same I was when you last saw me...except for
this leg of mine." The blonde spoke and took a few steps. Squall noticed Seifer was limping, most likely from a permanent leg
injury.

"It's your leg! ...What happened?" The brunette asked, his eyes fixed on Seifer's left leg.

"It was some years ago...It happened during a game. I was running towards the goal with the ball when this jerk tackled me and
hit me in my ankle, the Achilles tendon to be exact. I went flying through the air, ending up with a concussion and this no-good
leg of mine." The blonde explained, sounding somewhat bitter. "It was the end of my career..." [2]

Before Squall could ask any more questions, Seifer pointed at one of the empty tables in a dimly lighted corner.

"How about we go sit over there and talk? I'd really like to hear what you've been doing all these years Squall." The blonde
suggested. Squall immediately nodded his acceptance and let the older man lead them to the deserted table. Squall tried to offer
his help and pulled out a chair for Seifer, this earning him a disapproving look from the older man.

"Thanks but no thanks Squall. I can manage just fine by myself!" Seifer informed, sounding a bit annoyed. Squall blinked his
eyes and sat down next to Seifer.

"O-Of course you can...it's only your leg. Sorry." he mumbled, feeling his face grow hot.

For some time neither of them really knew how to start a conversation, so they just sat there and watched the party hall, filled
with people. When ever Seifer thought Squall wasn't looking, he glanced in the brunette's direction and vice versa.

Squall was having a conversation with himself instead of Seifer. 'It's really Seifer!...I thought I'd never see him again... I was
sure he'd be playing for some big team far away from Hilltop...too busy to even remember this reunion...It's been almost eight
long years from the day I left Hilltop...'

In his mind, Squall went back in time. 'He didn't want me to go to Boston, but was still happy for me when I got accepted to the
university there...even if it meant we'd probably never see each other again...He stayed here in Hilltop and I left to Boston... The
distance was just too great.'

Squall was suddenly frowning and Seifer saw this. He decided to be the one to finally start the conversation.

"I was pretty sure I wouldn't find your here tonight Squall..." the blonde spoke.

Squall turned his face in Seifer's direction, coming back from his thoughts. "W-what? Did you say something?" the brunette
asked as he had missed Seifer's opening line.

A gentle smile spread onto Seifer's face. 'You may look different Squall...but you still do those internal monologues you did
back then....' he laughed inwardly, then repeated what he had said and watched Squall in the dim lighting.

"Well Quisty and Charlie got married, so I was in town and got the invitation to come here. I was actually gonna turn back, but
met Rinoa, and she kinda forced me to come..."

"Good old Rinoa." Seifer laughed. "I guess I should thank her. If it weren't for her, I would have never met you here."

Squall smiled as well. "Yeah...And she's pregnant!" the brunette exclaimed, sounding excited.

"I'm gonna be the God father." Seifer announced proudly, crossing his arms over his broad chest, a cocky smile on his face.

For some time they were silent again, lacking the subject for a conversation. They watched the crowd and every now and then
kept glancing at each other, giving nervous smiles.

'...Ahh...why am I this nervous? This isn't like me!...And it's just Squall! We haven't seen each other in years, but I shouldn't be
nervous around him...' Seifer sighed and finally decided to ask what he really wanted to know.

"So Squall, what ever have you been doing after...getting accepted to Harvard?" Seifer asked, shifting in his seat.

"Well as you know, I left from here and went to Boston. There I studied law and nowadays I work as a lawyer in Boston. That's
also where I live." Squall told Seifer pretty much the same stuff he'd told Rinoa some time earlier.

Seifer forced himself not to frown. Squall's answer was quite trivial, not what the blonde had been hoping for. Then he realized
what the younger man had just said about his profession.

"Y-you're a lawyer!? ...Well I'll be damned..." Seifer laughed, the look on his face surprised. Squall frowned, even if he knew
why the blonde was so amused.

"Hey, don't get me wrong. I mean, that's great!" Seifer continued as he noticed the look on Squall's face. "...I just always
thought you were the type to work alone in some quiet office, no people around."

Squall finally nodded. "Yeah, me too." He smiled. "Back in High School, giving a speech in front of a class was my hell...And
now that's how I make my living; giving speeches in front of people..." Squall spoke. "I never actually planned to study
law...But at least it pays OK."

"Well congratulations Squall. You probably couldn't be happier, living a life like that." The older man spoke and turned to look
away. He didn't want Squall to see the jealousy and bitterness on his face. "...Now you probably wanna know what I've been
doing?" he asked and turned his face in Squall's direction again.

"Well Squall. I stayed here in Hilltop and played for the local team for some years. Then, as you know, I had my accident which
was the end of my career..." Seifer turned his face and fixed his eyes on the table ornament.

"Now I work in my father's firm...It never was a dream of mine, but I can never play again, so I really don't have any other
options. Football was all I knew, I never did that well in High School..."

Squall felt slightly guilty as he listened to Seifer. He himself had done great in life, but Seifer's dreams had obviously been
ruined in that one fateful game.

'...Is that how it goes? Those who suffer in High School end up living successful lives, and the Jocks and the Homecoming
Queens end up like Mike and Seifer?'

The blonde eyed Squall who was once again lost in his own thoughts. Seifer lowered his gaze and arched his brows as he
noticed the younger man had no ring in his finger.

'...So what if he's not married! That doesn't mean he's not dating anyone...' Seifer told himself. 'It's been almost eight years...he
probably doesn't even remember anymore... what we had back in High School...'

"Seifer Almasy?!" a woman's voice caused them both to blink their eyes and look up.

"Y-yes?" Seifer answered hesitantly, not recognising the woman.

"It is you! I haven't seen you since High School!" the young woman exclaimed with a somewhat icy voice. Squall smirked
when he saw the bewildered look on Seifer's face.

"I-I'm sorry...but I don't remember you..." the blonde stammered, watching the woman with confusion written all over his face.
The confusion only deepened as Seifer suddenly received a glass of red wine on his white shirt and tuxedo.

"Well I certainly remember you! Every year I asked you to go to the Halloween dance with me, and you just laughed and told
me you'd rather date the Elephant man, than be seen with me anywhere! And that was only one of the insults!" she reminded,
sounding very agitated, then without another word, walked away, looking satisfied as she had finally been able to get his
revenge.

Squall watched Seifer as the blonde began to wipe his shirt with a napkin.

"An old fan of yours?" the brunette asked hesitantly. Seifer looked up and met Squall's eyes, looking ashamed.

"I have no idea who she was...but I do believe her. I used to be awful back then, when I was in the same gang with Mike
Nixon..." he spoke in a low voice. "...I wouldn't be surprised if half of the people in this room feel the same way towards me as
she does." Seifer frowned and concentrated on the red wine stains.

"...Seifer...at least you've changed...From what I can tell, Mike Nixon is still the asshole he was back in High School." Squall
suddenly spoke. Seifer turned to face the younger man, looking somewhat surprised.

"...Squall, you of all people should hate me...you and Zell were the main targets of our bullying." The blonde muttered, his eyes
now fixed on the table ornament. Squall narrowed his eyes as he watched the older man.

"I used to hate you, yes....but then...I loved you." Squall spoke, his voice reducing to a whisper towards the end of the sentence.

Seifer raised his brows, taken aback by Squall's words. Hesitantly he met the brunette's eyes, a little smile tugging his lips
upwards.

"So you...do remember?" Seifer finally asked. The younger man gave him a nod and parted his lips to speak.

"...How could I forget? ...Seifer, you were my first love." Squall revealed, noting the widening smile on Seifer's face.

"I...I thought you had forgotten...or at least would be reluctant to talk about it..." the blonde spoke after a moment of silence,
watching as Squall shook his head.

"Well I was sure you'd forgotten about me!...So I didn't wanna say anything..." Squall exclaimed, feeling relieved to know
Seifer, too, still remembered.

"...So, I see you're not married?" the blonde changed the subject. Squall blinked his eyes at this, but quickly shook his head.

"No, I'm not even seeing anyone....How about you? I guess you already have kids?" the brunette inquired, blinking his eyes as
Seifer suddenly let out an odd laugh.

"No Squall, I don't have kids." The blonde smirked. "...And I'm not married either." He added.

For some time they were silent. Squall could tell Seifer was hesitating with the next question.

"...Did you miss me?" Seifer finally spoke, feeling the need to ask the question.

"...You mean in Boston?" Squall asked, stroking his hair with one hand.

"No, I mean during all these years...did you ever once miss me or think about me?" the blonde defined, sounding somewhat
anxious.

Squall eyed the older man through narrowed eyes. ' ...Of course I missed him! ...Every day I missed him...but what's the point to
talk about it after all these years? It's not like we'll ever get back together...I'm still in Boston and Seifer's here in Hilltop...And
the distance is still too great.' Squall thought in his mind, suddenly feeling very pessimistic.

"...Squall? Did you hear me?" Seifer finally asked when the younger man remained silent. Squall blinked his eyes, returning
from his thoughts.

"Of course I missed you." He spoke, sounding serious. The look on Seifer's face was enough to tell Squall that the older man
had missed him too. For a long time they were both silent. When Seifer finally decided to speak, there was an odd tone in his
voice.

"I shouldn't have let you leave..." he whispered.

Squall's eyes widened as he watched the blonde. '...What did he mean by that?'

"Many times I even bought a plane ticket and was about to follow you to Boston...but I never did." Seifer continued. "...Things
could be different now if I had." Seifer sighed, turning to look away.

Squall narrowed his eyes, wondering if Seifer still cared about him, what his feelings towards Squall now were. 'M-maybe his
feelings for me never died...? I know he still cared about me when we were forced to break up...'

"...Funny how we never even once met during these eight years..." Seifer wondered aloud.

"Yeah, well, I didn't visit Hilltop that often...It's actually only Christmas and other holidays I come home from Boston..." came
Squall's reply. "...And I was sure you had moved away from Hilltop...so I never called you when I was in town..."

Seifer gave an understanding nod and watched the crowd. He noted the hall was slowly growing empty of people. He glanced at
his wrist watch, only to see it would soon be closing time. Before he could inform Squall of this, the brunette spoke first.

"Do you remember how we always used to lie on the old couch in our basement?...Just the two of us, lying there for hours...it's
still there, you know...the couch." Squall spoke, the happy memory bringing a smile to his lips.

Seifer nodded, knowing exactly what the brunette was talking about. As the memory returned to his mind, a weird feeling of
longing filled his heart. The blonde found himself wishing he could go back in time.

"Yes I do...And I also remember you used to be terrified of our dog, Jaws! That's why we hardly ever spent time at my place."
Seifer chuckled, seeing the light blush on Squall's face.

"I-I wasn't terrified of him!...Scared maybe, but not terrified!" the younger man tried to defend himself, a frown rising onto his
face as Seifer kept laughing.

"You were! The first time you saw the dog, you almost climbed into my arms!" the blonde reminded what the truth was, an
amused smile on his lips.

"...Whatever Seifer..." Squall muttered, but couldn't prevent the smile from tugging his lips upwards. Just when they started to
reminisce, a young woman's voice interrupted them. She stood on a podium and announced into the microphone that the party
had come to its end. Seifer watched as the rest of the crowd began to flow towards the entrance, and blinked his eyes when
Squall suddenly got up from his chair.

"Well Seifer...I guess the party is over...I wish I had arrived earlier. Now we hardly had time to catch up." the brunette spoke
with his monotone voice. Seifer swallowed the odd lump that was suddenly forming in his throat and got up as well, careful not
to lean against his injured leg.

'...This is it? He's going and I'll never see him again!?' the blonde suddenly felt alarmed.

Squall noted the melancholic look on Seifer's face when he was about to say good bye. 'He looks like he doesn't want me to
go...Why? ...What does he want from me? If he still had feelings for me...he would ask me to stay...wouldn't he?'

"Well...I really enjoyed seeing you again Seifer...but I guess this is good bye. My plane to Boston leaves very early tomorrow
morning, so I really should go get some sleep..." Squall spoke. As he watched the blonde, he noted that Seifer looked like he
was having trouble comprehending what Squall had said.

"Seifer?...Did you hear me?" the brunette asked, the look on his face somewhat confused.

Seifer blinked his eyes and swallowed, then gave a nod. "Yes, time to say good bye Squall." He agreed and forced himself to
look as casual as possible, ignoring the storm of feelings that made his insides turn. Seifer lay his hand on Squall's shoulder and
gave it a squeeze.

"I'm glad you came Squall. It was good to see you after all these years. I'll be here in Hilltop...so if you're ever in town, come
and visit me. I'll buy you a beer or something." The blonde forced himself to smile and pulled his hand back.

"I will Seifer. Well...ah...Good bye then. Maybe we'll see again sometime." Squall said the final words, giving the blonde a
smile, then turned to walk towards the entrance. He could feel Seifer's eyes fixed on his retreating back. Squall grit his teeth as
he suddenly realized he was hoping to be 17 again.

'...Even if High School was hell...Seifer made some of those years the best of my life.' The brunette admitted to himself, trying
to force the thought from his mind. 'Ah...There's no point dwelling in the past...I can never again have it back...I can never have
Seifer back. It just wouldn't work.' Squall sighed as he walked out through the double doors.

'I have a life in Boston now...I can't come back here, can I? ...My house is in Boston, my job is in Boston...and Seifer is here...so
just forget about it.' The brunette kept on walking, turning away from the yard where people were saying good bye to old
friends.

Back inside the ball room, Seifer was still standing in the same place, feeling numb inside. He watched the almost empty party
hall and slowly began to realize something.

'...He's gone...I see him after eight years...and once again he's going away from me.' Seifer blinked his eyes, the memory of him
and Squall breaking up returning to his mind.

'......I don't wanna lose him again.' The blonde finally told himself and with this, he began to walk towards the entrance as fast
as he could. He soon stood outside but Squall was nowhere to be seen. Seifer made his way to the sidewalk and looked both
ways. To his right he saw a person walking away, almost far enough to disappear from his field of vision.

'That's got to be Squall!...D-do I go after him?' Seifer hesitated, not sure what he should do. '...I know I still want him! I feel the
same way I did eight years ago, when I was 19.' The blonde made his decision and began to walk in Squall's direction.

'I don't know how he feels for me...but there's only one way to find out.' The blonde thought in his mind as he kept limping after
Squall.

Seifer let out a litany of curses as his left leg refused to co-operate. The doctor had suggested he'd use a cane, but Seifer's pride
wouldn't allow him to do that. 'Old, senile people use canes! Not me!' Still, now he found himself wishing he had a walking-
stick or anything that would help him walk faster.

"Stupid leg! If I lose Squall now, it's all because of you!" the blonde hissed, glaring at his injured leg as he tried to make himself
walk faster.

"Squall! Wait!" the blonde called after the younger man, slowly catching up with him. When he was sure Squall hadn't heard
him, the brunette finally stopped and turned around. He obviously recognised Seifer, for he waited.

"Seifer? What are you doing here?" the brunette asked, looking bewildered. He watched as the older man took a moment to
catch his breath and then lay his hand on Squall's shoulder.

"Squall, I don't want you to leave...Don't go back to Boston!" he spoke the truth without any hesitation. Squall blinked his eyes,
Seifer's words upsetting him.

"I don't want you to go! I want you here with me...Ever since you left, I've felt...like...a part of me is missing, as corny as that
may sound. "Seifer confessed, feeling the need to let Squall know exactly how he felt.

"Seifer ...you never even once called me or visited me! I had no idea you still cared about me!" Squall exclaimed, his eyes wide.

"...I know...I regret that now. Hell, I've been regretting that for the past eight years! ...But now you're here...can't we try again?"

"Seifer I ..." the younger man was unable to find any words. He was being torn apart by different feelings. Squall knew his old
feelings for Seifer were still there, they never really left. A part of him wanted to stay by the blonde's side, but the sensible part
told him his life was now in Boston.

"I'm here only because of Quisty's wedding...my whole life is in Boston, Seifer..."

Seifer decided to act. He gave the brunette no warning before pulling him close to his taller frame and pressed his lips against
Squall's. The brunette whimpered, utterly taken aback by the sudden kiss. He felt Seifer's fingers twine around his neck and
clench in his hair. Slowly Squall began to comprehend what was going on.

'Seifer's kissing me....he's kissing me!'

Squall felt the older man's tongue make its way into his mouth, urging Squall to join in the kiss. Slowly the brunette let his eyes
flutter close and parted his lips more. He felt the warmth radiating from Seifer's body, the kiss suddenly making his legs lose
their strength. Seifer obviously noticed this, for he tightened the hold he had on Squall, preventing the brunette from collapsing
on the ground.

The kiss came to an end as both men reluctantly leaned away from each other. Seifer still had his arms around Squall,
preventing him from getting too far away. As the brunette met Seifer's green eyes, looking dark in the night, he realized just
how much he had missed the blonde.

"Seifer..."

Seifer pulled Squall's body close to his and leaned down for another kiss.

Squall moaned silently. Once again he felt like his legs lacked the strength to keep him on his feet. Seifer was making him light
headed with his actions. As the kiss grew more fervid, Squall felt a deep longing fill his whole body. At that moment, all he
wanted was to stay with Seifer, and the mere thought of going back to Boston made him miss the older man, even if he was
right there with him.

When Seifer finally ended the kiss, Squall was reluctant to withdraw and tightened his hold around the blonde's shoulders.
Seifer watched Squall with expectant eyes.

"Seifer...I wanna be with you...right now!" the brunette breathed, meeting Seifer's eyes. The blonde realized what Squall meant
and gave him a knowing nod.

"I-I don't live that far away. But it'll take us forever if we walk." Seifer spoke, pointing at his left leg. "My car is in the parking
lot, over there."

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: :::.

Ten minutes later they were standing in a dark corridor. Squall was pressing himself against Seifer's back as the blonde fiddled
with his keys, trying to get the door open. When Seifer finally managed to turn the key, the door flew open and they stumbled
in. Squall twined his arms around Seifer's neck, a sudden urgency controlling his every move. Seifer reached for the light switch
as the brunette kept planting little kisses all over his neck and jaw line.

"Ah, there it is..." the blonde exclaimed silently and the hallway was filled with light. Seifer looked down and met Squall's
greyish eyes, noting the lust in them.

"The bedroom is over there..." he breathed, wincing slightly as he leaned against his left leg. Squall didn't even notice this and
began to jerk Seifer's tie away, his fingers lowering themselves to unbutton the blonde's white shirt, stained with red wine.
When a few of the buttons came loose, Seifer lost all his self-control, a low groan rising from his throat.

"Come on!" he ordered and took Squall's hand, guiding them towards the dark bedroom. The younger man followed him and
when they reached the room, he was thrown down on the bed. Seifer immediately followed him and lay himself on top of
Squall, urging him to part his legs.

Squall sank his fingers into the blonde's short hair, his face buried in the hollow of Seifer's neck.

'He smells the same...' the brunette sighed as he inhaled deeply, his nostrils filling with a familiar scent. Seifer was working
with Squall's shirt, throwing the white garment away as it was unbuttoned. With nimble fingers he loosened the brunette's tie
and pulled it over his head, it too disappearing on the floor.

"God dammit I missed you Squall..." Seifer breathed, his hands now working with the brunette's belt, his actions controlled by
lust and deep longing to be with Squall.

"I missed you too..." the younger man whispered as his black pants were pulled down to his ankles. He kicked them down on
the floor and reached up to help Seifer remove his own shirt. As Squall was opening the rest of the buttons, Seifer lowered his
hands to remove his belt. His eyes were fixed on Squall's torso, searching for the big scar he remembered to be there.
It was hard to see it in the dim lighting, coming from the hallway, but the blonde was finally able to see the mark.

'He used to be so ashamed of that scar...' Seifer remembered, feeling Squall's fingers lower down on his hips. As the brunette
hurriedly opened Seifer's fly, the blonde reached down to touch the scar on Squall's stomach and traced it with his index finger.
His hand, however, froze when he felt the brunette guide a hand into Seifer's pants.

"...Squall..." the blonde sighed, his eyes closing involuntarily. The feel of Squall's hand struck him like a lightning, making his
body jerk.

"I can't wait anymore! I need to have you now Squall!" the blonde informed, sounding urgent. He received a nod from the
younger man who was now removing the black trousers Seifer wore. When finally completely naked, the blonde was sitting on
his knees, pulling Squall to sit on his lap. Their chests pressed together and their lips met in an open-mouth kiss.
The dark room was filled with the sounds of their heavy breathing and the creaking of the wide bed.

Seifer ended the kiss, his lips now brushing the brunette's earlobe. "D-do you need to be prepared?" Seifer whispered in Squall's
ear, inhaling the scent of his soft hair.

"No...I just want you inside me...now! I don't care if it hurts..." came Squall's desperate-sounding answer.

Seifer nodded and let Squall twine his arms around his neck. He pressed their lips together and kissed the brunette, using his left
hand to guide his slick erection between Squall's parted legs. As he slowly slid in, past the tight opening, their kiss broke and
Seifer felt Squall's fingernails sink into his skin, a quivery moan escaping the brunette's lungs.

Seifer's mouth dropped open and he squeezed his eyes shut. His breathing grew ragged as he waited for the younger man to
adjust.

"I-I was sure I'd never get to have you again...' Seifer whispered.

When the hold around his neck finally loosened, the blonde realized he could move. He gave one slow thrust, clenching his
other hand in Squall's hair, the other twined around the brunette's back. Squall let out a pained moan, still hurting from the
penetration. As Seifer began to rock his hips and thrust himself inside Squall on a faster pace, he felt the brunette lean even
closer and bite his shoulder, not hard enough to hurt though. Seifer was about to ask if the younger man was still in pain, but
Squall began to meet every thrust of Seifer's hips.

The blonde smiled, knowing Squall, too, was starting to enjoy their love-making. As his ears were filled with the younger man's
rapid breathing, Seifer closed his eyes and clenched the brunette's hair even tighter. He rocked his hips faster and faster, every
now and then nailing Squall's prostate, this causing Squall to cry out Seifer's name.

As Seifer kept sliding in and out of his passage, Squall leaned back and lowered his own hand to grip the slick organ, trapped
between their bodies. He began to stroke his erection with a trembling hand, the low groans, sounding in his ears, indicating
him that Seifer was about to reach his climax.

"Squall...I can't hold it in anymore..." Seifer finally breathed, his whole body shaking already. He could feel the younger man
clenching his inner muscles, this driving Seifer over the edge. He threw his head back and filled his lungs with air, then let out a
shaky moan as the feeling of uttermost pleasure caressed his every nerve.

Squall squeezed with his hand and stroked himself with fervor when he felt the warm splash of Seifer's release fill him. As the
older man was still shaking from his orgasm, Squall brushed the tip of his erection with his thumb. This was enough for him to
see stars.

"S-Seifer!" the brunette whispered and pressed his chest against Seifer's, his orgasm rolling over, leaving his body with the
feeling of exhaustion.

Seifer held Squall in his arms and waited for the younger man to come down from his high. He then pulled himself out from
Squall's channel and lay down on the bed, the brunette soon joining him. Even if Seifer's hands were like jelly, he reached out
and sank his fingers in Squall's damp hair. With this, he fell asleep.

Seifer woke up with a smile on his lips. He opened his eyes slightly and noticed it was already an early morning. The bedroom
was now the shade of blue, for the sun had probably just begun its daily trip across the sky. It never shone through his bedroom
window before ten o'clock. Seifer reached down and pulled the sheets up, his naked form quivering from the cool air in the
room.

"Squall..." he whispered and turned his face in the direction he remembered Squall to be. A frown made its way onto the
blonde's face when he found the bed to be half empty. Seifer immediately sat up, his eyes scanning the room and his ears
listening for any sounds. The early morning traffic, coming from outside, seemed to be the only source of sound. His whole
apartment was silent. Seifer suddenly remembered something the younger man had said to him the previous night.

'My plane to Boston leaves very early tomorrow morning...'

With Squall's voice echoing in his mind, Seifer bounced up from the bed and opened his wardrobe, pulling out a pair of sweat-
pants and an old, worn tee-shirt. He got dressed as fast as he could and stormed out of the room, letting out a pained moan as he
set too much weight on his injured leg.

Seifer hobbled towards the kitchen counter, where his car keys lay, not knowing a pair of storm-coloured eyes were watching
him curiously.

"What are you doing, Seifer?" Squall asked, this causing the older man to shriek and Squall to laugh out loud.

Seifer held his hand on his chest and turned around, only to see Squall, standing in his living-room, in front of the huge
windows. A wave of relief washed over Seifer as he realized Squall was still with him, not sitting in some plane to Boston.

"...You're still here..." the blonde spoke as he walked toward the younger man. Squall gave a nod and stuffed his hands into the
pockets of his black tuxedo pants.

"I am." He replied shortly. Seifer came to stand before him and Squall turned his face to look out of the windows. For some
time there was silence in the room. Squall walked around the living-room, watching the surroundings with his greyish eyes.

"Nice place you have here...lots of space...for two, to be exact." The brunette spoke, his tone of voice indicating of the hidden
message in his sentence.

"...I thought you'd be sitting in a plane to Boston by now..." Seifer spoke, sounding confused. Squall nodded and walked to sit
on a red velvet sofa near by. Seifer followed him with his gaze, but didn't move from his spot.

"I've been thinking..." the brunette said, his eyes fixed on his fingernails. "...thinking about my life in Boston, the friends I have
there...my job..."

Seifer felt his heart sink, guessing it was time to say good bye for the second time. He joined Squall on the sofa, running his
long fingers through his messy, blonde hair. He was about to tell Squall to stop, that he hated good byes, but the younger man
placed a hand on Seifer's shoulder.

"...Seifer...did you really mean all the things you said last night...about you not wanting me to go back...about us trying again?"

The blonde blinked his eyes in disbelief and turned to face Squall. As he saw the questioning look on the brunette's face, he
realized where Squall was maybe going with this.

"Yes...yes! Of course I did!" Seifer nodded, his breathing growing more rapid.

"Well...I decided I'm ready to give up my life in Boston to be with you. To give up my home there, my new friends and my
job....just to be with you, Seifer." Squall spoke, a serious look on his face. "If I move back here, I'll be closer to my family
too...and...to tell you the truth, I never was fully happy in Boston. Even if I had a well-paying job, a good education and lots of
new friends...I didn't have you anymore."

Seifer took a deep breath and closed his eyes, giving his brains and heart time to take in everything Squall had just said. He then
slowly exhaled and met the brunette's expectant eyes.

"Seifer?" Squall asked, uncertain about the reaction his words had had on Seifer. "...Do you think we can-"

"Yes, we can. There's nothing I want more than to share a life with you, Squall." The older man spoke, his lips now turning into
a happy smile. Squall sighed, relieved, and returned the smile.

"Well then...let's do that and get happy. Let's continue from where we left eight years ago."

Seifer gave his answer by pulling Squall's smaller frame against his own, and held him close, gently kissing the brunette's
temple.

::::The end::::

[1] Squall Leonhart a lawyer!...I know ^_^ I could never picture Squall giving a long speech in front of a jury! But no matter
how hard I tried, I couldn't think of a good profession for Squall, so I chose to make him a lawyer, wanting to move on with the
fic.

[2] I'm not really sure about that thing with Seifer's Achilles tendon. I don't know what kind of an injury it would require to
make Seifer permanently unable to walk.

**AN: That's it. A happy ending. Yay! Sorry if I hurried with the lemon scene and the ending, but I just wanted to finish the fic
and get rid of it already. Also, the fic hasn't seen a beta-reader, so sorry for all the spelling and grammatical errors. Reviews are
very welcomed ^_^
