Courage don't desert me!

Don't turn back now that we're here.

Terra looked behind her as she zoomed away from Narshe. She watched as the snowy mountain peaks were soon far behind her. Since the encounter with the frozen Esper, Terra couldn't control herself.

People always say

Life is full of choices.

No one ever mentions fear!

Terra was scared. Her human part couldn't even tell where she was going; it was emanating true fear. Her Esper part wasn't half as scared. Her human form was experiencing something new, fear. Kefka had told her that there was no such thing in a knight, or even a 'witch'. She shuddered at the name.

Or how the world can seem so vast.

On this Journey

To the Past.

Her Esper form was guiding the spirit of Terra's human form to her past. Terra looked around, shocked at how big this world truly was. Her human form was truly hoping that the Esper form was leading her to her past.

Somewhere down this road

I know someone's waiting.

Years of dreams just can't be wrong!

~Flashback~

Terra leaned forward after a dream she had just had. A dream of someone wanting her. A dream of someone waiting for her. It didn't make any sense to her though.

Arms will open wide

I'll be safe and wanted.

Finally home where I belong

Terra looked down at the landscape quickly passing under her. A vision ran through her head of a real family. Her heart became hopeful that she, too, would someday have something like that. To be safe at home; and to be wanted.

Well

Starting now I'm learning fast

On this Journey

To the Past.

Terra sighed, thinking of everything people had taught her. The one thing no one had taught her yet was love. Well, not exactly true. No one had taught her fear.

Home, love, family

There was once a time I must have had them too

Home, love, family

I will never be complete until I find you

Another image fell before Terra, one of a loving family in a household. A family that could belong to her and a feeling of love that could belong to her.

One step at a time

One hope then another

Who knows where this road may go

Terra could start to see Zozo appearing in the distance. The rainy, dangerous city, she had been told.

Back to who I was

Onto find my future

Things my heart still needs to know

She closed her eyes in hopes of somehow remembering who she used to be, but instead, she had thoughts of the future. Being reunited with her friends was one of them. Also being reunited with a family to love.

Yes, let this be a sign!

Let this road be mine!

Let it lead me to my past!

Terra thought a silent prayer, one that would lead her back to who she used to be. One that would lead her to find her family, and to find a true love.

And bring me home

At last.

Terra set down into a tall building in Zozo, and then collapsed. The form of Ramuh came to catch her and set her down in a bed.

"At last, my young Esper. At least you have come to see me."
