Final Fantasy - All Series Fan Fiction ❯ Love By Moonlight ❯ Dog Eat Dog ( Chapter 16 )
Chapter Sixteen.
"Uuuhh.." Seifer panted. "Huuagh...." The Slav sat high up in a tree on a very thick branch pulling himself off. At first he just rubbed through the fabric of his pants, but he eventually unzipped them, pulling it out for a better work out. His breathing was heavy and his eyes were closed, as he titled his head back enjoying the sensation. 'Why did I stop?' He wondered to himself, referring to what he and Zell had just done.
He kept one leg sturdy on the branch to support him up in the tree while the other dangled freely over the side of the branch. "Uhhh," He groaned, yanking his pants down past his butt to his knees. He then leaning forward rubbing his growing erection against the branch. Harder and harder but it wasn't the same as skin.
'I've gotta see that kid again, uuuhhh.' He continued rocking up and down. 'Finding his scent should be easy, all I'd have to do next is get him to invite me in....' He pressed himself closer to the branch practically scratching his dick up from the bark. "Aaaahhhh!!!!" He shot off on the base of tree behind him and he rested himself against it for a second.
Panting he jumped down from the tree and yanked his pants up. 'Better work fast, his scent is already leaving because of the fog.' He sniffed the air in all four directions then ran through the wooded area where it smelled the most. When he reached town he looked around again. 'Fuck.' Seifer noticed the entire Balamb ocean was nearly covered with fog and it was rolling in on shore.
'How am I gonna find him now?' He wondered already losing the scent he'd been tracking in the first place. The smell was soon replaced by the stink of fish. Turning around he saw a docking boat come in and he watched as the men unloaded the cargo they caught today. Along with the men naturally working on the ship, Seifer caught the slight odor of a Ukrainian vampire type called, Upir.
These types eat nothing but large amounts of fish to stay alive and never really drink the blood of humans or animals like other vampires and are always found in ocean baring places like Balamb.
After watching them for a brief moment, Seifer turned away and knelt down onto the street to sniff around closer. 'He went......' When his nose ran across four different smells he noticed that one of them was on that paper back at the Galbadian hotel when he first found out Zell's name. "This must be from his friend Irvine." He smelled the direction it went in and saw that it lead to a row of houses not too far away.
"Maybe I could ask him where Zell lives?" He wondered out loud then backed down. "Like I'd ask a human for help, especially in tracking." He stated and knelt back down catching Zell's smell. "There it is." He crawled along the streets almost like a stretched shadow as he kept the scent up his nose by smelling every inch of the street. It took the vampire to a little house not far away from the park way.
Going up to the front door, Seifer peeked in through the window and saw the boys mother sitting on the couch watching television. 'Sweet.' He said looking her over with a smirk. 'I wonder if she plans on leaving anywhere tonight?' He moved to another window for a better look. 'I haven't had blood in a long time, I could easily fake a wonderer seeking shelter.' He schemed. Movement in the corner of the room caught his eye and he saw Zell coming downstairs in his rob and pajamas.
Seifer's face lit up seeing him like that but he quickly wiped it away. 'What am I doing here?' He asked himself wanting to leave but his body remained still as he watched his little blonde lover kiss his mother good night. "Goodnight, Ma." He said turning away from her and went into the kitchen.
"Goodnight sweetie, did you and Selphie get everything done?" She asked. Selphie had left at 10 just as she promised and turned on the shower water telling his mother he was taking a shower before going to bed.
Mrs. Dincht of course went upstairs to check and surely enough her son was in the shower, or at least that's what a prerecorded hum would make her think. "Yeah, we should get an A and everything." Zell was saying. Seifer moved himself to the other side of the house to where the kitchen window was and he looked in at Zell. The little blonde was pouring himself something to drink and when he turned around to put the container back. "Huah!" He gasped, seeing Seifer in the window and he dropped his cup to the floor.
"Zell are you ok?" His mother said coming into the kitchen.
"Uh...?" He looked over by the window and saw that Seifer was gone. "Y-yeah, I just banged my arm into the fridge and it knocked the cup from my hand." He lied. Grabbing a small dish towel from a drawer he started to wipe up the mess, when his mother saw that everything was ok she went back into the living room saying.
"Can you turn off the television when you're done. And make sure you get some sleep tonight, I don't want you being late for school again."
"I will." He looked over his shoulder to make sure she had completely gone then he walked to the window and opened it looking down. "Seifer?" He called and the Slav sprang up scaring the hell out of the poor boy and he jumped back from the window.
"Didn't mean to scare you." He said and grinned.
"Wha-what are you, no how did you find-..."
"You're house?" Seifer finished for him. "I sniffed for your scent and followed it here, and believe me it wasn't easy with the fog." Seifer cocked his head and raised his hand up, but not into the window. "Will you invite me in?" He asked as nicely as possible.
"Why?" Zell was obviously panicked by the fact that Seifer had found him, and so easily too.
"Because I wanna see youuu," He replied looking down at Zell's crouch. "again." He ended.
"But you can't, I live with my Ma," He explained. "We can't just do that sorta thing in here."
"So we'll be quiet." Seifer looked around the kitchen with his eyes, then back at Zell pleadingly.
Seeing that face on him made him...well actually it just made him look a little more frightening but something behind it made Zell wanna trust him. 'I can't let him in,' He thought. 'who knows what he's capable of once he's inside.' Zell downcast his eyes from the vampire so he wouldn't be swept up in pity. '...-course it is gonna be cold out tonight, but he sleeps outside all the time probably....Ohh, but there is the fact that he drinks blood and we still barely know each other.' He argued with himself.
'It sure is sad thinking about turning him down, though.' He looked back up at Seifer who was waiting there with wonder on his face, as to whether or not Zell was going to let him in.
Seifer looked away from Zell with a frown. "I can tell it's a no." He walked away from the window with out so much as a goodbye and Zell walked over to the window and looked out as well. "Hey Seifer, wait." But he had disappeared into the fog. "............" Zell sighed heavily and ran a hand down his face. "This is another fine mess," He said to himself turning away from the window. "He's got more strength than even 100 people, why didn't he just break in?"
When he walked to the stairs he paused and looked over his shoulder at the front door. "Does he actually care about me?" He walked over to the front door about to turn the knob but instead he made sure all the locks were done over before running upstairs.
........................
"That stupid human." Seifer spat, then sighed. "......I should kill off his entire line." His fist slammed into a tree making a few sleeping birds take off.
"Keep up with me Muffy," A jogging man was saying to his German Shepard dog.
A thin smile came to Seifer as he watched the man. "Okay, I can play doggy." He lowered himself to the ground and ran along as a dog would. Growling lowly, he made it to the man and barked at the dog.
Arf! Aarrf! Seifer ran himself past the dog, barking as he went, letting the German Shepard pick up his scent. The dog wasted no time in chasing after the shadow and struggled to yank himself free of his owner. "What's gotten into you Muffy?" The man asked. The leash slipped away from his hand and he fell forward. "Muffy stop!" The man picked himself up from the ground and ran after his dog following the sound of it's barking.
Seifer weaved in and out of patches of trees and the dog ran after him doing the same trying to catch up to the vampire. Seifer was going a little slower than he normally ran, this way so the dog could keep up. Faster and faster the dog chased until eventually Seifer stopped behind a tree. Dashing after him, the dog made a loud sound of pain.
"Muffy! What's wrong?" The man asked. He saw a figure come from behind the tree. "Muffy?" The man squinted through the fog with no use, but the figure moved up to him with a limp and whimpered. "Muffy, sweety what happened to you?" The man asked, patting his dogs head. "Poor thing, did some meany hurt you?" He asked.
The dog growled moving back from the mans touch. "Muffy?" Looking down he saw two red slits appear through the fog.
"Woof." Seifer said leaping on the man.
"Aaahh!!! Noooo!!" He bit down into the man hard. "Muffy! Muffy help me!" He called out in the struggle but the dog lay lifeless on the ground behind a tree.
Seifer pushed away from the guy and grinned letting out a loud howl to the hidden moon. Wiping his mouth he laughed. "I've been thinking." He started saying to himself. "Maybe I don't need Zell to let me in....Not when I can get his mother to do it for me." He laughed wickedly to himself turning into a shadow, he then walked himself to the docks where the other vampires that had come to Balamb were sleeping, on his way in he passed the day walkers leaving for the morning.
The group of vampires were staying in a fishing warehouse not far from town and the place was big enough to hide the coffins in without a human going in and discovering them. Not that they stopped in often, the humans only came into the warehouse's for fishing supplies for long voyages out. The Upir told them when they first came.
A scrawny vampire walked by, resembling that of a normal human and it made a point of banging into Seifer on it's way out. "Goodnight Seifer." The Upyr said slyly.
"Whatever." He closed the cover of his coffin and fell asleep.
"That's alright, you can say whatever you want, I'm the one who will get the last laugh."
