Epilogue:

That weekend. At the fair in Dollet. Zell, Irvine and Selphie are walking around the grounds holding each others hands. Zell and Irvine started dating that very day and this is what they considered their first date, and after the stunt they pulled by skipping school it would be their only date for a while because the both of them were grounded. The only reason they were allowed to come now is because they're being chaperoned.

"I'm glad your Ma let you off for... why was it again?" Irvine asked.

"For being alive and well for her to ground me. She felt bad when I came home blood fisted, disheveled and dirty."

"That's parents for ya." Selphie said and looked over a few heads standing on her toes. "Oh that's Penny, I'll see you guys later." She said running off shouting to the girl.

They walked in silence a moment before Irvine broke it with a sigh. "So like, what did happen to you?" He asked. "Was it that guy?"

'That guy...' Zell thought. 'Seifer...' He hadn't thought about him since he promised himself he wouldn't after the accident. So far it was working but, Irvine had just opened an old cut for him and he rubbed his arm in discomfort. "I don't know, this guy I've been seeing he kinda had a jealous boyfriend and we were running around all night trying to avoid him." With a shrug he added. "Then he left me... problem-.. problem solved, I guess."

Irvine reached over and rubbed Zell's shoulders. "I'm sorry for asking." The cowboy said knowing that it was a touchy subject for Zell.

"No, I'm fine." He replied, swiping Irvine's hand away. "He made his choice to leave and he left." Shrugged. "Simple as that, but that's ok because it made me realize that I really would rather just be with someone normal- like you."

Irvine laughed hearing that. "Me normal, there's a sentence you don't hear many people put together." He looked over his shoulder and saw Ms. Dincht getting a giant soft pretzel from the snack stand. "What do you say we ditch your mother and go have some fun in the fun house?" Irvine asked.

Zell thought about what he meant for a second. "Ha, is that all I am to you?" He asked.

"For right now," Irvine said with humor in his voice. "yeah that's about it."

Zell grinned with a laugh and shoved his boy friend in the shoulder. "Alright, we could do a little something, but only because you look so dashing in that hat." Zell said.

"Well thank you kindly." The two of them walked into the fun house together arm in arm.

In the distance, a foot walks to the tip of a cliff and looks down over the area. 'I'm glad you're happy Zell.' Seifer thought, looking after the path he and Irvine took. '...Maybe I should have just told him the truth?'

Another set of feet came to the foot of the cliff then the person looked at him. 'Do you really think that would be a smart idea? Telling him you staged your death, and had actually spared my life. He'll just come looking for you again.' Squall said mentally. 'And then I would have to kill him.'

'You're right.... this is exactly how things should be.' Seifer stated. Turning to his little brunette lover he scooped him up into a kiss.

When they moved away Squall smirked evilly. "Forget the boy," He said out loud. "We've got a whole new town to rule over now, so let's get us some fresh blood."

Seifer smirked just as evilly. "Good idea." Looking over his shoulder he thinks. 'Besides he's getting exactly what he wanted.'

There was a sudden scream from Irvine inside the fun house. Zell moved away from him laughing. "I told you I give a good hand job." Zell said.

"Yeah, but now it's my turn and we'll have this whole place wondering what we're doing." Irvine said rolling on top of Zell, unzipping the boys pants.

Taking out his member he started to stroke it lovingly while kissing Zell on the neck. "I see your bite marks cleared up." Irvine noted quietly and mostly to himself.

"Yeah, it was because of..." His voice cracked from a moan he bit down. "Ma's medicine."

"Pretty strong stuff." Irvine said, "hope it can heal what I'm about to do to you." He kissed Zell's chest then his lips. The little blonde started to moan when Irvine's jerking picked up speed and he wrapped his arms around his neck, snuggling his face in close.

"Mmm, that feels nice." Irvine said leaning into it; when he felt the little blondes teeth slide across his neck, he knew he was opening his mouth. "Zell, what are you doing?" The cowboy asked.

When Zell closed his mouth he merely began to suck on Irvine's neck, hard enough to leave a hickey and the cowboy sighed with relief. "You're so weird." Irvine stated and went back to work.

Zell opened his eyes and smiled- not at any one in particular, he just felt like doing it.
