Chapter 1 ~ Watching from a Distance

Narrator (Nat): Is love only for two people? Does a third person have to give up the touch of another? Is there a way for all to be happy? Does love have to be so cruel? Does it have to be so unfair?

Nat: The young blond athlete looked above him at his lovely tormentor, trying to understand why he had been shoved down a steep hill and into the water. A moment ago she had been holding him close to her, listening to him say that the only way to keep him from disappearing again maybe to cherish him. He stared at her intensely for a moment before she spoke.

Yuna: "You didn't disappear."

Nat: Looking at his hands for a moment he understood what she meant. That he was here to stay. No fear of being separated from her any longer, no worrying about one of them waking up in the morning only to discover it had all been another dream. He smiled and started swimming for the shore, when a thought crossed his mind. He looked up just in time to see Yuna's head disappear from sight, as she made her way down the hill.

Tidus: "Hey! Um...Yuna? What would you have done if I had disappeared?"

Yuna: "Either saved the world a third time or find that faith kid and threaten to beat him up until he brought you back."

Tidus: "Oh is that all?"

Nat: Tidus smirked at his remark as he climbed from the water and on to shore. He quickly rounded the hill to find his lady pulling something from the duffel bag she had brought from the airship.

Tidus: "What's that?"

Yuna: "Watch."

Nat: Yuna placed what seemed like a small pillow on the ground. She then unwrapped a small box in her hand, taking a small jewel from it and after placing it on the pillow like object, she quickly stepped back. A few seconds later the pillow like object began to sparkle and expand into a large bed like cushion that Yuna quickly hopped on.

Tidus: "Wow! Now that's cool. You could use that for camping or an extra bed for guests or..."

Yuna: "Sex."

Nat: Tidus, stopped amid sentence, suddenly stared blankly at his love for a moment, before finally looking around to catch the reactions of other people, but the place seemed deserted. Still Tidus had to ask the question.

Tidus: "Out here?"

Yuna: "Nobody comes here anymore. I made sure of that. This is our special place. So don't you worry about somebody seeing us, besides, the risk of getting caught just makes it even more exciting!"

Tidus: "You really have changed. This is like a whole new Yuna...I like her. I like her alot!"

Nat: Tidus hopped on the cushion next to Yuna. However, their activities, would in fact be observed by someone else. Two green swirling eyes watched them from at distance behind a large piece of rubble, as the two young lovers began their intimate act. Tidus, his hand having found its way to the front of Yuna's open shirt, began to stroke the delicate skin he found there.

Tidus: "Yuna I don't think I've told you how much I really love this new outfit of yours."

Nat: With that Rikku sadly walked towards a distant S-Sphere to return to the airship. Little did she know, she was not the only one spying that night. Only the other onlooker was observing her and not the couple. The silver haired red eyed warrior looked on as Rikku moved away and then looked in the direction of the giggles.

Paine: ~Hm. Well this is a problem. Can't have feelings like that stay bottled up inside for very long, now can we?~

Nat: And so, Paine sat down and began to devise a plan that would give Rikku what she both wanted and needed without, destroying the bond of the two, off in the distance.
