It all started that day, the day that Shin-Ra scientists announced that the children of the Sector 1 slums were in danger due to a deadly virus that targeted our underdeveloped immune systems. The next day all kids from 1-16 were gathered up and sent up to Shin-Ra’s giant tower office to ‘distribute the vaccine’.
Once we were there, they sent us up to the scientist’s floor where I met the two in charge. The first was a complete joke and I ended up calling him Dr. Dumb apple, well not to his face, if he asked me a question I called him Dr. H. The other was one that you didn’t want to get on his bad side, his name was Hojo.
We had to stay in the white room while Dumb apple and Hojo administered the vaccine. We were waiting to be let go when someone noticed 3 of the kids missing. Knowing the 3 I turned to Hojo and asked where the Soldiers were trained. After explaining that the 3 were wannabe soldiers he called a soldier to escort me to that floor.
“Well here we are the floor where the soldiers train, live, and have meetings for missions!”, he exclaimed as we stepped out of the elevator.
“Where’s the training room?”
“Right up ahead.”, he started to walk to the area while I kept close and glanced around in awe. I was staring at something else when I walked right into him as he stopped to call to a friend, “Hey, Zaa- whoa!! You okay?”
“Yeah, just peachy.”, I answered from where I fell before getting back up.
“Hey Kunsel, what’s with all the kids running around, is it bring your kid to work day or something?”
“No, it’s--”
“Hey, you kids can’t go in there!”
“Who’s gonna stop us?”
“That’s it, I’m gonna kick their asses! Excuse me.”, I exclaimed as I ran around the corner to find the 3 scampering into a room. I followed them barely making it in before the door shut. “I will kick your asses so hard you’ll wish you didn’t get up this morning!”
“Sarge!”, they yelled at the same time, suddenly forgetting about whatever plan they had concocted.
“Hey, can you kids hear me?”
“Yeah, I hear you.”, I turned and saw the control room and in there was a tech, Kunsel, that Za guy he called out to. I was about to ask something when the legendary trio walked in Sephiroth, Angeal, and Genesis themselves. “What did these idiots get themselves into?”
“Well, Sephiroth had a training session scheduled for today.”, he was cut off by a roar as a jet black dragon landed in front of me.
“Oh shit!”, I murmured before turning back to the trio, “I’m gonna kill you three if I live through this!”
