Fire, smoke, metal, sparks flying from machinery. Whistling air running through the machine. Crew members holding on for dear life as they plummeted into the abyss below. A dark laughter coming from above, far above. Then a crash into the darkness.

Priscilla awoke, having had another of her usual nightmares. The cold sweat was dripping down her forehead. She looked around the dark room, realising it was still night. Her dreams had been going on for the last 3 months, ever since the New Age had come. She got up, walking over to the sink and getting a glass of water. The streets below were empty, quiet. At the gates of Junon stood two guards, making sure nobody came in or out unauthorised. She sipped the cool water watching the street, remembering 10 years ago when the evil of Shinra was pushed off them by a group of heroes who risked their lives for the future of the Planet. She remembered Cloud, her first crush, most of all. He had saved her life down on the beach. She smiled remembering his kindness, and his green peaceful eyes. She finished the water, before turning to go back to bed. Suddenly voices came from the street, and she turned to see what was making the commotion. The guards at the gates were blocking a man coming into town. They were holding their weapons up to him, yelling something, Priscilla couldn't make out what. The man bowed his head and turned away, defeated. Saddened she turned, when all of a sudden the sound of two bodies hitting the ground was heard. She looked back out to see the man walking past the two fallen bodies of the guards. Priscilla stared after the man who then stood in the centre of town. Slowly, she made for her door, opening it and walking out. Her night dress in the air blew, cold air rushing through. As she closed in to the man, he turned.
`Hey,' he whisked his dark brown hair out his eyes, staring at her with star blue eyes. `I'm looking for someone. Someone said I could find her here.' Priscilla looked at him, taken aback.
`Umm…maybe I can help you?' She said, smiling shyly.
`Maybe you can. Do you know somebody called…Priscilla?' her smiled faded, and she turned.
`Why?' she asked, her back facing him. She was hiding her face,
`Your father is looking for you Priscilla.' She turned to meet the gentle stranger's eyes.
`What do you know of my father?' she asked, walking closer. `Who are you?'
`I am Squall,' he walked to her, `and your father is safe, he has been with us for the last 3 months.'
`Who is “us”?' She asked, warily.
`We are a small rebel group that are fighting back against the evil of the New Age.' She fidgeted. `Priscilla I cannot stay long. You must come; your father wishes it, urgently.' Again, she was unsure. She looked into his eyes, and then turned, running to her house. Squall dropped his gaze, and waited.

5 minutes later she came running out her house, dressed in a short black skirt, and a white bikini top. He stared her up and down, and smiled.
`Very nice' He made for the gates, she slowly walked behind him. He turned. `Your father asked me to give you this. So here, take it.' He handed her a small blade. `You may need it!' She gulped. They walked past the guards, who lay unconscious still on the ground, and walked out into the cold air of the night.
