This colossal beast stood over him, smiling down at Denzel. Its claw arm started to pulsate, sickeningly. He held back his head and screamed, the bridge shook, the edge crumbling into the darkness below. Picking up his sword he faced Gast, which eyed him with a smile. They ran for each, Denzel scratching the sword of the ground, bringing it up as it drew near, slashing across its chest and rolling between its legs. The creature's blade was brought down, stabbing into the ground. Quickly jumping up Denzel stabbed the best in the back. Crowing in pain, it swung its massive arm back, knocking Denzel flying backwards, smashing to a halt at the edge. Looking down he seen his sword fall into the twinkling dark. The monster ran at him, calling out, his giant claw slashing of the ground as it ran. Denzel stared deep into his eyes, and stood up. The monster ran swinging back its fist, ready to annihilate his assailant, when suddenly Denzel leapt at the monster, running up its slow moving claw, kicking it in the face which caused it to sprawl backward to the ground. Denzel fell to his knees panting. The beast lay still, staring straight up. Following his gaze Denzel could see upon the surface two figures diving to the side, followed by a thunderstorm of bullets hitting onto the castle.

`This body is very useful' Ashfo said, dragging Marlene into the trees. Cloud and Tifa followed quickly, chasing after their possessed comrade. The giant shell lay ahead, leading straight into the snow area of Icicle Inn, or what used to be Icicle Inn. It had since been changed to a tourist place of wonder, where the greatest evil had been fought and defeated - and a ski resort. Barret reached the top of the shell, turned and fired at the top of the shell causing it to crack, breaking all access to the top. Cloud ran up the falling shell, leaping and grabbing hold of a ledge a few feet away from Ashfo and his captive. He turned, looking down to Tifa.
`Go, go back to the camp,' He motioned with his other hand, `I'll handle this!' Scampered footsteps told him Ashfo had run off. Cloud managed to drag himself up the rest of the cliff, and stood at the gaping hole into the mountain side. He looked down to Tifa, and smiled. `I'll be okay!' He quickly turned and ran after the Shadow soldier.

Denzel brought his gaze back down, and settled onto the giant beast, whose arm was now pulsating with such speed he thought it would explode. He started to walk forward when he noticed the beast's blade still stuck in the ground, implanted through the very stone of the bridge. Gripping with all his might he pulled, falling backwards as it dislodged itself. He held it firm, y in his hands and walked over to giant monster. It seemed unconscious as it lay on the ground. Bringing the sword up above his head he brought it down with crashing speed. Gast opened his eyes, but wasn't quick enough to stop the sword as it sunk through his neck. Denzel dropped the sword, and stepped back a few steps. The body started to fume with green smoke, the blood boiled. Slowly the beast turned into a man. Denzel walked over, and knelt beside the man, covering his eyes. Stepping away, Denzel made his way to the tower; high above a light was flashing green, drawing in energy. It's time! Denzel knew it was going to end soon!
