==================================

Four Days Later:

"Unbelievable!" Kyle groaned, flopping next to Zell on the couch. "Fucking unbelievable!"

"The line ain't been that long!" Zell pouted. "Two fucking days..."

"Sleeping outside," Selphie sighed, crossing her arms, looking down at the couch where Zell and three other boys sat.

"Totally blows," Mathew said. "An' my back is killin' me!"

"Now what?" Selphie asked, dropping her arms to her sides.

Xenith wrapped his arm around Mathew's shoulders, rocking Mathew a few times in his seat. Mathew glared at him.

"We just can't miss this concert!" Kyle grumbled. "Blood Kiss' concerts are supposed to be fucking amazing. And its gonna be such a small concert! Who knows what sorta shit will go down!"

Zell leaned forward, his face buried into his hands.

"Lets get out of here," Kyle growled, standing up. "I can't sit 'ere anymore."

Xenith jumped up. "Where we gonna go?"

"Walking!" Kyle answered, looking at Zell and Mathew.

Mathew forced himself to stand up. Zell didn't move. Kyle reached down at pulled Zell up.

"Lets just go walk somewhere," Kyle said.

Zell sighed, but he followed Kyle as they left his house.

After about 40 minutes of walking around they ran into some older friends of Mathew's.

"Matt!" a large boy said.

"Yo, Donovan!" Mathew said, waving.

The four older boys walked over to Mathew and Zell's group.

"Hangin' out with the little twat, huh?" Donovan asked, motioning to Zell.

Zell sneered at him. "Fuck you!"

Donovan smirked.

"Leave 'im be, Don," Mathew said. "What's up?"

"Fucking pissed, that's what!" Donovan growled.

"That fag-band is coming into town," a large boy to Donovan's right grumbled.

"Hey, Blood Kiss rocks!" Selphie snapped, stepping to Mathew's side.

Donovan smirked at her. "We know. They are still a bunch of cock sucks, though."

"Like shorty," a brunette boy said, motioning to Zell.

The older boys chuckled.

Zell sneered, crossing his arms.

"Only Griever and Flare are fags," Mathew said.

Donovan shrugged. "Whatever, Matt. They get down that way, I'm not gonna start shit. ... I'm pissed because we were trying to get concert tickets and well... fuckin' thing sold out within the first hour of sales."

"You wanted to see Blood Kiss in concert?!" Selphie asked, startled that the older homophobic would even have ever thought of such a thing.

"You heard Giving In?" the brunette boy asked. "Do you even listen to their music? Fuck, you little slut, just cause we don't like their sexual preference doesn't mean we're tone deaf!"

"Don't call her a slut, fuck head," Zell snapped.

"Just," Donovan started, "shut the fuck up, fairy."

Zell's hands clenched tightly into fists. Xenith put his hand on Zell's shoulder, meaning to hold him back. Zell may have been young, short, and a nice kid, but he had no problems beating the shit out of people. Which he had before. Zell had taken kick boxing, Tae Kwon Do, and Kenpo since he was a able to walk.

Mathew shook his head, a small smile on his face. "Catch you guys later, before Zell kicked all your asses..."

Mathew took Zell's arm, pulling him away from the older boys, ignoring the taunting calls coming from behind. Zell's other friends followed them away.

Zell glared at Mathew. "Why do ya even talk ta those asses?"

Shrugging Mathew shook his head. "They're pretty cool. Just homophobic and afraid of you. Which is why they are such dicks to you."

Zell pulled his hand from Mathew. "Hate stupid people..."

"Ugh," Selphie exclaimed. "I think I'm gonna go home. I'm to depressed 'bout the concert."

Mathew turned to her. "I'll walk you."

Selphie sighed. "Sure, thanks. ... Later guys!" Selphie waved to the others. She smiled at Zell. "Buh bye!"

Zell smiled at her, waving. "Good-Bye, baby."

Kyle wrapped his arm over Zell's shoulder. "This blows. Maybe I'll go home too..."

"Yeah..." Xenith grumbled.

Zell said Good-bye to his two friends then walked back towards his house. To his utmost joy (NOT!) Donovan and his friends were hanging out near a bench on the sidewalk.

Donovan pushed up, seeing Zell walking back towards them. Donovan smirked. "Fairy! Where's the others?"

"Fuck off," Zell snapped, glaring at Donovan, but he was forced to continue to walk towards them, his house a couple blocks down the street passed them.

"Aw!" the brunette said. "Baby's bed time?"

"That explains the pissy mood," the largest laughed.

Donovan quickly got up and stood in the middle of the sidewalk. "Zell," Donovan purred.

Zell stopped. Did Donovan just call him by his first name?

Donovan smiled. "Zell. No hard feelings, huh?"

His friends chuckled.

Zell started forward again. "Guess you want my fist down your throat," Zell snapped, his fists clenched.

Donovan straightened up, knowing Zell wasn't afraid and wouldn't back down after being pushed to a certain point. Another guy, Warren, from one of Donovan's classes, the huge black haired guy that starred on the Blitz Ball defensive team of Balamb Garden. The guy that was just over 6'0" probably weighing 220lbs.

Warren liked to piss Zell off a year ago. One day he caught Zell at the wrong moment. Zell put him into the hospital. Warren still walked with a limp, and probably would for the rest of his life. Zell had only gotten a couple bruised ribs from the encounter (aside from the one week suspension from school and the 1 month he spent grounded by his mother.)

"Now, now, Zell," Donovan said. "I just wanted to know if you actually meet Blood Kiss. Mathew says you did."

Zell stopped, his guard slightly lowering. "Yeah. Well, I meet Flare and Griever." Zell frowned, wondering if the boys would make some snide comment about that. (Flare and Griever were supposed to be gay lovers, Zell was gay. It was a easy insult Zell let himself walk into.)

Donovan half smiled. "Really. You're not lying?"

Zell frowned. "I meet them!"

Donovan walked to Zell until he was standing just a little from the small tattooed blonde. "That's cool. They weird or anything?"

Zell shook his head, his frown fading. He was more on guard now, Donovan being so close. "They were nice."

Donovan nodded. "You seen the new music video? Trust?"

Zell shifted his stance. "Yeah, couple days ago for the first time." Donovan was being weird.

"Don!" one of he guys said. "Stop playing with the Fairy."

Donovan turned and glared at one of the boys. "Shut up, dick. I'm talking to the little fag."

"'Kay," Zell snapped. "As fun as this is, I'm tired and pissed. If you want to get ya ass kicked, just tell me an' I'll be happy to help you wit that. If ya want a blow job, I'd bite anythin' off that came out from your zipper. If ya want normal conversation, don't call me names! Otherwise, just fuck off!"

Donovan sighed, stepping out of Zell's way. "See ya, fairy."

Zell glared at him, walking by and heading to his house.

"What was that?!" Zell heard one of the boys yell to Donovan.

"Fuck off," Donovan snapped back.

"You want the little twat?" another voice joked.

The boys laughed.

"Yeah," Donovan snapped sarcastically. "Hyne, you are so fuckin' dumb!"

Zell shook his head, blocking out the boys behind him.

Zell stepped into his house, walking towards the stairs.

"Hey, little one," Zell's mother greeted him from the kitchen.

"Hey ma," Zell replied. "Think I'm gonna go to bed."

"... Right now?!" Zell's mother asked, noting the time: 7:30pm.

"Tired," Zell said, starting his climb up the stairs.

"Alright," Ma said.

Zell entered his room, looking at the guitar in the corner for the first time since he'd shown it to Selphie. Zell cocked his head at it. "I promised to play you. But... I can't touch you." Zell shook his head and walked to the bed, flopping down face first.

As Zell was about to fall to sleep his mother knocked at the door. "Ma?!" Zell snapped, not meaning to, he was just half asleep.

"Some guy is at the front door for you. He insisted," Ma said.

"'Kay," Zell replied.

Zell sat up from the bed. "Ugh... I swear," Zell mumbled to himself, walking across his bedroom. "If that's Donovan, I'm going to beat the crap out of him." Zell opened his door and walked down the hallway, down the stairs. Zell's mother had already returned to the kitchen.

Zell walked to the front door, yanking it open. Zell's angry sneer disappeared immediately. "Who're you?!"

The large muscle man was probably around 6'5", weighting at least 300lbs. "You Zell?" the man asked in his very deep voice.

"What do ya want?" Zell asked.

The man reached into his pocket, pulling out a large envelope.

Zell frowned.

"A friend sent me," the man said, his voice. "Squall."

Zell's frown disappeared, his mouth falling open. "Squall?"

The man nodded. "He wanted to know if you'd be able to come to the up coming BK event. Do you have tickets?"

Zell shook his head.

Again the man nodded. "How many do you want?"

Zell looked at the envelope the man was holding. "Eh?" Zell looked back to the man's face. "Five?"

The man opened the envelope and removed five crisp tickets to the Drained Tour at Balamb, this Friday night starting at 10:00pm. Floor seats.

Zell held the tickets, astonished to see them.

"Kid!" the man said, bringing Zell's attention back up.

Zell looked at him, seeing the man handing him a pack of weird card things. Zell took them, realizing he had five back stage passes now.

"And," the man pushed a sealed envelope into Zell's hand.

Zell accepted the envelope. "Thank you," Zell said, still amazed.

"My job, kid," the man said, nodding. "Good night. Sorry to have disturbed you."

Zell watched the man walk away. Zell closed the door, bolting it out of habit. Zell's eyes were locked on the sealed envelope.

"Who was that?" Ma asked.

Zell turned to her. "I got concert tickets!" He smiled brightly, running to show her the tickets and back-stage passes.

"Who was that?" Ma repeated softly, ooing and awing over the tickets for her son's benefit.

"Friend o' a friend from that party I went two last week," Zell said, coming up with the story quickly.

Ma nodded. "Wow, nice friend." The floor seats to the Drained Concert were 600 Gil each, which was labeled on the tickets.

Zell smiled, looking back at the tickets in his hands. He turned and walked back to his room. "Night, Ma."

"Night, sweetie," Ma replied, watching her son disappear upstairs.

Once in his room, Zell shut and locked the door. He carefully lay the tickets and passes on his desk before moving to open the letter.

Zell, my little Bishounen. I got into town this morning. And I was hoping I'd be able to see you again. Don't ask why, because I haven't an answer. I enjoyed our time together very much. Will you see me? Before the concert, that is.

If you are willing to meet me again, come over to the hotel on 6th street. Top floor, room number 38. Whenever you have time. I have practice early in the mornings, but I'll be in my room mostly during the afternoon and evening. You are free to bring some friends, if that makes you feel more comfortable. Or you don't have to come at all. I'd really like to see you, though. So please accept this invitation.

love, Griever - Squall. xoxo

Zell smiled brightly at the letter, rereading it a few times. It wasn't the most friendly letter. And Zell could almost hear Squall's soft, stern voice speaking the lines over.

Zell quickly picked up his phone, dialing Selphie's number.

After 4 rings Selphie picked up. "Hai?"

"Selphie!" Zell burst in excitement.

"Zell!" Selphie said loudly. "What... why are you so happy?"

Zell heard some mumbled voices in the background. Then Zell heard Mathew's voice speak into the phone. "Hey Zell!"

"Get off!" Selphie snapped. "So Zell!"

"You've gotta come over, baby. Right now!" Zell said.

"Why?" Selphie asked.

"Believe me!" Zell insisted.

"Okay. Give me 10 minutes and I'll be there... with Mathew," Selphie added, after a couple of mumbles in the background.

"Great!" Zell bounced. "See ya in a couple minutes!"

"Bye!" Selphie said, some of Zell's excitement rubbing off on her.

Zell clicked the phone down into the charger, looking back over the letter and reading it again.

15 minutes later Selphie and Mathew were inside Zell's room.

"So, what are we doing here?" Selphie asked.

Zell handed her the letter.

Selphie read it, Mathew looking over her shoulder and reading it as well. Mathew's eyes widened. Selphie smiled as she read the letter.

"Oh my god!" Selphie exclaimed, looking up at Zell. "Where'd ya get this?!"

Mathew took the letter from Selphie, reading it again.

"One of his people came over and gave that to me," Zell said, smiling.

Mathew looked up at Zell. "This is bullshit! No way!" Mathew wasn't being mean, he was just shocked.

Zell walked to his desk, picking up the concert tickets and back-stage passes. He handed them to Mathew, taking his letter back. Mathew just stared at what Zell'd given him.

"Back-stage passes too!" Selphie exclaimed, looking at Mathew's hands.

Zell nodded, folding the letter and putting it into his pocket.

Mathew handed the tickets and passes back to Zell. "Unreal."

"Show Matt the guitar!" Selphie said, bouncing.

Zell blushed slightly.

"Your new guitar? Oh, Hyne!" Mathew exclaimed. "Did Griever give it to you or something?!"

Zell put the tickets and passes down, getting his guitar. "Its the Tonberry Knife, baby."

Mathew practically ran across the room, watching Zell open the case. "Griever's guitar?!"

"Damn!" Mathew said, seeing the Tonberry Knife. He knelt next to Zell, staring at the guitar. He didn't touch it because Zell hadn't touched it.

"Yeah, and look," Zell pointed to the signature.

Mathew read it. "Holy fuck!" Mathew looked up at Zell. "You're friends with Griever?!"

Zell shrugged. "We meet. Maybe friends, but it was only a short while I talked to him. And he is Griever."

"Why didn't you tell me?!" Mathew asked, looking back at the Washburn.

"Its one hell o' a thing, having Griever give me his guitar. Hanging out with the Star, talking to him. Not something easily believable. Even for me, even with the Tonberry Knife. How were you supposed to believe me?"

Mathew shook his head. "Damn. Griever got a thing for you?" Mathew half smiled, eyeing Zell.

Zell blushed. "No. He's just a nice guy."

"Why'd he give you his guitar?" Mathew asked.

Zell sighed. "Long story."

"You have a long story with Griever?" Mathew asked. "Damn. You little twat! Hiding things from me!"

Selphie smacked Mathew on the arm.

Mathew flinched towards Zell, away from Selphie. "I meant that in a nice, friend way. I'm not stupid enough to make fun of Zell."

Zell half smiled, closing the guitar case.

Mathew stood up and watched Zell but the guitar back against the wall. Zell walked back to his two friends.

"Now, Zell," Mathew started, "You know I love you."

Zell smirked. "I got five tickets an' back stage passes. 'Course you're one of the people I got tickets for."

Mathew smiled. "And you're going to see Griever?!"

Zell bit his lip. "I'd like to. But... its Griever..."

Selphie bounced in. "I'll go with you! The three of us will go!"

Mathew nodded, smiling. "Come on, Zelly-baby!"

Zell sighed. "When should we go?"

"Tonight?!" Mathew suggested, wrapping his arm around Zell's shoulders.

"Yeah!" Selphie agreed quickly.

Zell shook his head. "No..."

"Damn Zell!" Mathew begged. "Come on! That's Blood Kiss! And we know exactly where they're staying!"

Zell put his hands into his pockets. "Tomorrow."

Mathew and Selphie looked at each other then back to Zell.

"Can we spend the night then?" Selphie asked.

Mathew half smiled.

Zell sighed, shaking his head with a smile he tried to bite back. "Yeah."
