==================================
He couldn't sleep. Zell. The conversation with Squall had been short, and he'd wish to talk longer to the brunette idol. Zell's mind was racing around. He desperately wanted to see Squall.
His covers were tangled around him from tossing and turning. It was 4:30am in the morning and he still hadn't gotten any sleep. It was getting ridiculous. Maybe he should just get up. Hell, he should have gotten up a couple hours ago.
But he was tired, so he closed his eyes and tried to force sleep to come.
Squall. Zell was Squall's boyfriend.
Zell smiled, his eyes still closed.
Squall said he'd never hurt me. Promised he'd never hurt me. ... He even laughed... well, his version of a laugh. It was cute though. Like the way he smiles. As though he's not quiet sure how his smile is supposed to work. ... Wonder if he even knows how his emotions are supposed to work. ... He talked to Seifer about me. Wonder what that means...
Shifting in his tangled covers, Zell hugged his pillow tightly, trying to force his mind empty. But the only thing that felt empty was his bed.
Wednesday wasn't soon enough.
Squall. Baby... ... Hyne, it was so erotic. He was inside of me. I was inside of him! He came for me... because of me. His arms wrapped around me. Holding me tight. His lips kissing me. Hands running over my body. ... Swallowed my cum. Oh Hyne, I want him so much...
Turning onto his back, Zell's hands traveled absently down to his crotch, pushing his boxers open, releasing himself from the cloth.
His warm hand wrapped around his cock, gently traveling up and down the shaft slowly. Vivid images of the time he spent with Squall flashed through Zell's mind. Squall's hands, lips, legs, dick, hips, arms, body. The noises Squall made. The way his body quaked and shivered the moment before his orgasm hit.
Zell's first hand jacked off his cock in a harsh, fast pace while the second hand travel down to touch his balls and the sensitive skin between his legs, over the matted blonde pubic hairs. It didn't take long, stimulating himself to near-orgasm. He moaned loudly from the tingling sensation of hunger in his crotch, his hips buckling into his hand.
"...S-Squall..." He came. His cum releasing itself onto the hot, sweaty sheets. His body went limp, falling back into the soft mattress of his bed.
He breathed in the dark twilight of his room.
Selphie's right. I might be hurt... but, fuck it, the chance to be with Squall! Its worth any maybes.
~*~
"Zell, honey?"
Zell opened his eyes, looking around his brightly lit room. "... Ma?!" He sat up in his bed, taking a quick glance at the clock. 1:00pm. Fuck, it was the middle of the day.
"You going to sleep all day?" the voice was closer, right outside Zell's bedroom door.
Zell yawned, stretching, then he answered. "No. I'm gettin' up."
"Take your time. Aunt Jesperice is here with your cousins. And I brought lunch, if you're hungry," Zell's mother said.
"Thanks, Ma," Zell replied. He tossed the covers off himself then slid out of bed.
After quickly showering, Zell headed downstairs.
Aunt Jesperice sat on the couch next to his mother, drinking coffee. Zell's two cousins, Lallen at 13 and Gloria at 14, were sitting at the kitchen table, eating.
"Zell!" his aunt said with a smile. "Up late?"
Zell nodded, sighing. "Couldn't sleep. Think I finally feel asleep at like 5 in the morning or sometin."
"Oh... Were you scared or something?" Zell's mother asked.
Zell frowned at her. "No. 'Course not. I was jus... not tired."
"Man! Zell!" Lallen said, bouncing out of the kitchen.
Zell looked at his younger cousin. "Wha?"
"Your Mom is letting you go to Esthar!" Lallen said, completely awe-struck. "With just your friends! To see a concert!"
Zell half smiled at him. "Yeah."
"Maannn!" Lallen said, turning to look at his mother. "You see that! How cool Aunt Dincht is?! Why can't you be like that?!"
Aunt Jesperice turned to her sister. "Thank you," she said sarcastically.
Zell's mother blushed, smiling slightly. "Sorry."
Lallen looked back at Zell. "How long are ya gonna stay there?!"
"Well.. I'm leavin' tomorrow and the concert is Saturday... I don't really know," Zell said.
Lallen nodded. "Wow... So lucky! Blood Kiss! .... Hey! C-can you get the autograph of Shiva's Influence for me?! I-I mean the band members."
"Sure," Zell said.
Lallen smiled brightly. "Ugh! You're so lucky!"
"Oh shut up," Gloria said, leaving the kitchen.
"Me?! You were excited for Zell too!" Lallen said.
Gloria glared at her younger brother. "Listen, 'Len. I'm excited, but I'm not bouncing around like a fricken moron!"
"Gloria!" Aunt Jesperice snapped.
Gloria looked at her mother. "Sorry, Mum."
"Oh, that reminds me," Zell's mother said. "Zell, at about 11:30 this morning Squall called."
Zell clenched his eyes and fists, putting his knuckles to his forehead. "Damn it..." he mumbled.
"He won't be able to talk to you until you get to Esthar, but he wanted you to call the hotel and leave the train number and time you're going to arrive. So he can send a limo for you and your friends," Zell's mother said.
Zell looked up at her.
"Limo?!" Lallen jumped in. Looking at Zell he spoke. "Who's Squall?"
"He said all that?" Zell asked.
Zell's mother half smiled at him. "Well no. He said something like I'd like to have a limo waiting for Zell then I sorta filled in the rest of the conversation by asking questions and having him answer with a short yes, ma'am. It was quiet interesting."
"Who's Squall?" Aunt Jesperice asked.
"Oh! Hyne, what's that other name of his?" Ma asked.
"Griever," Zell said, a small smile on his face and his cheek slightly blushed.
"What?!" Lallen exclaimed. "You know Griever?!"
"Who's Griever?" Aunt Jesperice asked.
"Oh. My. God!! Gloria said to her mother. "He's only the lead singer of Blood Kiss!"
Aunt Jesperice raised an eyebrow. "Blood Kiss?"
"Mom!" Gloria near yelled. "The best band in the entire world!"
Aunt Jesperice nodded, turning to look at her sister. "Ah, yes. It makes sense now."
"They sing Waiting," Lallen said.
Aunt Jesperice turned to her son. "Oh! I like that song. Its a cute little song."
Gloria rolled her eyes.
Lallen turned back to Zell. "But... you know Griever?!"
Zell smiled. "Yeah."
"How the hell do you know Griever?!" Lallen asked.
Aunt Jesperice frowned at his language but didn't say anything.
Zell put his hands into his pockets. "He's my friend. I meet him at a party three weeks ago."
"And that's why he gets to go to the Drained Tour concert. Because he's friends with Squall... Griever. Whatever," Zell's mother explained.
"Squall's his real name?" Lallen asked.
"He called you?!" Gloria said. "No way! I don't believe it!" She looked to Mrs. Dincht.
Mrs. Dincht shrugged. "I met him in person. He stopped by the house a week ago."
"He was here?!" Gloria exclaimed, looking at Zell with her eyes wide.
Zell nodded.
"He gave you that necklace, right Zell?" Zell's mother said.
Zell blushed again then put his hand to his neck, pulling on the thick chain, removing the pendent from under his shirt.
"Oh my god," Gloria muttered.
"Are you like best friends with Griever?" Lallen asked.
"Sorta, yeah," Zell asked.
"Wow..." Lallen muttered.
"Do you know the model Griever's dating?!" Gloria asked.
Zell frowned slightly. "Model?"
"Yeah!" Gloria continued. "That babe Rinoa Heartilly. He's dating her now. It was in the papers this morning."
A brief wave of panic flashed through Zell's body before he calmed, remembering what Squall said on the phone last night. "He's not dating her," Zell said with a small sneered-smile.
"Yeah he is!" Gloria insisted. "They're going out this Friday!"
"Griever's gay," Zell said slowly. "I though everyone knew that."
Jesperice looked at her sister with a small frown. Zell's mother nodded back, confirming Zell's words.
Gloria frowned. "The papers said that Griever and Rinoa met at a model shoot. They talked the entire time. And Griever asked her out for a date this Friday. They're supposed to go to Eden, the most romantic restaurant in all of Gaia."
"Yeah!" Lallen joined. "Supposedly Flare and Griever broke up or something. Griever's turning straight."
"Here, I'll get the paper!" Gloria said, turning to head back into the kitchen.
Zell felt another wave of panic, but he pushed it away.
A moment later Gloria was giving Zell the paper and there on the front page was:
"Even Straight, Griever Demands Perfection"
Then there was a picture of one of the most beautiful women Zell had ever seen with her arm wrapped around Squall's shoulders, Squall's hand on her hip.
"Maybe they just hooked up! If you'd talked to Griever this morning he would have told you," Gloria said. She looked down at the paper in Zell's hand. "She's so pretty. Oh! I wish I was her. Lucky girl."
"Griever is gay," Zell said again, handing the paper back to Gloria.
Gloria frowned, taking the paper. "But-"
"That's tabloids. Last week there was an article in the Timber Maniacs about how wonderful Flare and Griever's relationship was," Zell said.
"And that's not tabloids?!" Gloria said, still convinced about Squall and Rinoa.
"That was," Zell said. "Because Griever and Flare broke up two years ago."
"What?!" Lallen joined the conversation.
Zell pointed at the paper. "That's so tabloids. Squall told me about that girl yesterday. He didn't like her at all. She kept talking about how cute and rich he was. Said she was a complete turn off."
Gloria's mouth fell open.
"You serious?!" Lallen said.
Zell nodded. "Have you seen the Saturday paper Compressed-Time?"
Gloria and Lallen exchanged glances.
Zell turned and walked to the stack of newspapers by the fireplace, flipping back a couple days to Saturday. He removed it then brought it to his cousins.
On the front page was Zell getting into a limo with Squall, properly labeled:
"Griever Exchanges Blonde for Younger Model"
"That's you and Griever!" Gloria said.
"Um-hum," Zell confirmed. "Except we didn't go back to his hotel like the paper says. And he didn't cheat on Flare with me."
His cousins looked back up from the paper.
"Tabloids," Zell said with a small smile. "But I'm starving... So I'm gonna have something to eat." He turned, leaving his cousins to gawk at the paper, walking into the kitchen to have his lunch.

Squall sat at the table in the hotel room looking down at the paper in front of him.
"See!" Jep's voice said from behind Squall. "Your image! No one thinks you gay anymore."
Squall folded his arms over the paper, laying his head down.
"Because of that, I've decided to let a reporter follow you around for the next couple days. Doing a little mini-bio on your life and what's going on with you. We need to improve your image!" Jep walked to Squall, taking a seat at the table. "And you need to call that model and cancel the date, or actually go on it! ... People seem to be liking that you're dating Rinoa. Popular idea. You could run with it for a while. Be good press."
"I have a boyfriend," Squall answered, closing his eyes.
"That is 15 years old and lives in Balamb. And you've only know this kid for three weeks. Its not good press, Squall," Jep insisted. "Keep your little sex-toy. That's fine. But it would be-"
"He's my boyfriend. Not my sex-toy," Squall answered in a low growl voice. He opened his eyes, sitting up to glare at Jep.
"Fine. Keep your boyfriend. But it would be a good idea to perhaps date Rinoa for the public. They really do like the idea. Getting lots of positive feedback," Jep said with a nod, thinking it over in his mind.
Squall sighed, laying his head back down, closing his eyes.
"Yeah, actually," Jep continued. "Why don't you take the date with Rinoa this Friday?"
"I'm gay," Squall said softly.
Jep snorted. "You need to start caring about your life."
"I do," Squall spoke slowly. "And Zell's my boyfriend. I'm not going to fuck that up."
"Alright, alright," Jep said, giving up. He stood up, heading towards the hotel door. Putting his hand on the doorknob, Jep stopped. He turned to look back at Squall.
"The reporter will meet you at the concert tonight," Jep said. "Her name is Quistis Trepe. She'll be following you around for about a week."
"Whatever..." Squall said.
Jep started to turn the doorknob.
"Oh fuck," Squall muttered, sitting up.
Jep stopped, looking back to the brunette star.
Squall turned to glare at Jep. "Thursday. My dad and I are having lunch."
Jep thought it over then shook his head. "That's impossible. We're starting the-"
"We're having lunch," Squall repeated.
Jep sighed. "You really fuck up my schedule," Jep snapped. "I suppose I should just cancel the entire afternoon, then?"
"My father," Squall said.
Jep nodded. "That man can sure talk," Jep growled. "Yeah, I'll just cancel the rest of that day." Jep shook his head. "Fuck... I really hate being your manager, Grieve!"
Squall looked at Jep blankly.
"You really are impossible to work with," Jep continued. "Donno why I put up with it!"
"18 percent," Squall muttered.
Jep sneered at him.
"What?" Squall said softly. "That condo in Timber not as nice as you thought it was going to be? Or what about that mansion just outside of Winhill? ... The new Porsche not driving well?"
"Fuck you," Jep said, near smiling.
Squall shrugged. "Whatever..."
Jep laughed. "Eh, that boyfriend o' yours... Zell. He's coming tomorrow?"
Squall nodded.
"You'll have Miss Trepe following you around. So you'll be able to correct all that Rinoa bullshit," Jep said, turning to leave.
Squall turned back to the table, laying his head on his arms again.
