-10:15pm, Same Day/Night-

Thoran's hotel room, after the dinner party. The bands from the Drained Tour gathered to relax a little and mingle together. No groupies or anyone else allowed.

Zell and Squall sat on the couch, watching the dance-floor area of the darkly-lit room.

Squall's was arm wrapped over Zell's shoulder, Zell's body pressed against the Super Star's side.

Squall leaned to whisper into Zell's ear. "Want do dance?"

Zell turned to look up into the cloudy eyes, chewing on his lower lip. "Eh, not really."

"Why not?" Squall asked softly.

Zell's nose wrinkled. "Embarrassed." He giggled softly, turning back to the dance floor.

Squall traced a finger over Zell's tattoo, looking over the features of the young blonde's face. Zell turned back to Squall, his sapphire eyes swirling around.

Zell smiled sweetly at Squall, blinking twice before turning again to watch the dancers.

"Chicobo-baby!" Merice approached the two lovers. She smiled down at Zell. "Dance with me!" She said, talking Zell's arm, not waiting for an answer.

"Ah!" Zell mumbled, taking a quick glance back to Squall as Merice pulled Zell into the small crowd of dancers.

Squall sighed quietly, his breath heavy. He started to reach into his back pocket for his cigarettes when Seifer walked over and sat down next to him.

"Chicobo?" Seifer asked, watching Squall pull a cigarette from the case.

Squall offered Seifer a cigarette, the large blonde taking one. "Merice," Squall explained.

Seifer nodded, putting the smoke to his lips. Squall flicked his lighter on, lighting Seifer's cigarette then his own.

"I think you'd better watch those girls," Seifer said with a smile. "They're awfully interested in Chicobo." He laughed quietly.

Squall's expression stayed firm in its icy exterior. He heavily breathed in the nicotine, releasing the smoke from his lungs slowly.

Seifer leaned back on the couch, watching the crowd, smoking.

"Selphie, Matt?" Squall asked.

Seifer turned and smirked at Squall.

"They're dancing together. I was talking with them for a little while," Seifer explained. "They might be staying the night in my room tonight..." Seifer looked away from Squall, taking a drag from the cigarette.

Squall absently trailed his eyes over Seifer's face, looking at the blonde's handsome features. Seifer caught his out of the corner of his eyes. He turned and smirked at Squall again, meeting the sky-blue eyes with the stormy spheres of the singer's.

Taking a final drag from the cigarette, Seifer turned and snuffed it out in an ash-tray, meeting Squall's eyes. "Dance?" he nodded to the small crowd.

Squall took another deep breath from the cigarette, watching Seifer's expression.

Squall leaned over Seifer's body, snuffing the cigarette out in the same ash-tray that Seifer had use. Meeting Seifer's eyes briefly, Squall pushed off the couch, standing up.

Holding his hand out to Seifer, Squall accepted Seifer's offer. Seifer took Squall's hand, letting the brunette pull him up, then they traveled out to the dance floor.

Squall wrapped his arms over Seifer's shoulders, pressing his body to the blonde's chest. Seifer wrapped his arms around Squall's waist, leading the dance to the up-beat song.

"You gonna take Chicobo with you tomorrow?" Seifer asked.

"...my father," Squall replied softly.

"That's a good answer, Squall," Seifer said, smiling.

"Maybe?" Squall tried again.

Seifer laughed softly. "You should. Chicobo would like that."

Squall breathed, thinking it over.

"But... its my dad," Squall mumbled.

"Ask Chicobo is he wants to go," Seifer said. "He's probably like to meet your dad."

"..." Squall stayed silent.

"Just ask him," Seifer suggested plainly.

Squall nodded once.

Seifer pulled from Squall, looking down into the stormy spheres. "I'm gonna go get a drink."

Squall blinked, then nodded. He turned and walked off the dance floor back to the couch. Taking his seat again he wasn't surprised to find that Quistis Trepe was approaching him.

She nodded sternly.

Squall blinked, waiting for the onslaught of questions to begin. Although he wasn't positive she'd start asking a million questions, because she wasn't really like the other reporters. She took her job seriously, not psychotically.

"May I sit?" she asked him.

The next song started up.

Squall nodded to the empty cushion beside him.

Quistis sat, her eyes looking out at the dance floor.

Squall watched Quistis, waiting for her to say something. Anything.

The blonde reporter turned to Squall. "Might I comment that... you danced with Flare but not Zell?"

Squall breathed slowly.

~ *--meanwhile--* ~

"Chicobo?" Seifer said as he approached Zell.

Zell turned from Merice.

"Hey, Flare," Merice said with a bright smile.

"I'm cutting in," Seifer replied to the woman, moving to take her place dancing with Zell.

Zell's eyes widened briefly, watching Merice step back and Seifer step forward.

"Alright," Merice purred. "See you later, Chicobo-baby!" Merice winked at Zell before turning away.

"Chicobo," Seifer said.

"Seifer," Zell replied, finding it awkward to be dancing with the blonde Super Star.

Seifer leaned, moving closer to Zell. "...I just wanted to tell you... Squall really didn't fuck me last night." Seifer looked into Zell's sapphire eyes.

Zell bit his lower lip.

"I'm sure you believe him, like you said. But I had to tell you that," Seifer explained. "He and I were pretty drunk, so we just crashed in his room."

"Thanks," Zell said softly, looking down to Seifer's chest, which was at eye-level for the short blonde.

"He talks about you," Seifer continued. "Last night he was worried about having enough time to spend with you. He's really happy that you're here."

Zell smiled, looking back up to Seifer. "Thanks. `Think I needed to hear that."

Seifer nodded. "Tomorrow he's going to see his dad."

Zell's eyes lit up. "Really? His dad...?"

"Its one of those things the fans don't know about. Squall's dad," Seifer said.

"I never even thought about it," Zell mumbled.

"Yeah," Seifer chuckled. "Griever was born? He has a family? Since when?!" Seifer laughed softly.

Zell bit his lower lip. "Do you think... he wants me ta go with him?" Zell asked, his voice hopeful, looking back up to Seifer's sky-blue eyes.

"You should ask him," Seifer replied.

"Seifer!" Selphie's voice interrupted the conversation.

The two blondes turned to her.

"Zell!" Selphie said, noting him. "Go save Squall, the reporter is talking to him. I think he'd rather be making out with you or something..." Selphie snickered at her own implied joke.

Zell blushed. "I... I'll go talk to him." He looked to Seifer. "Thanks."

"No problem, Chicobo," Seifer replied with a small smirk.

"Bye, Selphie," Zell said to her as he walked away.

"What can I do for you, Princess?" Seifer asked, smiling down at her.

Squall nodded to the question Quistis had asked him. She wasn't annoying. It surprised Squall a great deal. She actually seemed half-normal. Even for a reporter.

"Baby," Zell said, walking over.

Squall smiled his meek grin at Zell, happy to see he'd come back.

"Miss Trepe," Zell said to the reporter.

"Zell Dincht," Quistis replied.

Zell knelt on the couch cushion next to Squall, opposite of Quistis. He wrapped his arms around Squall's shoulders.

"Um... Seifer - Flare was looking to talk to you, Miss Trepe," Zell said, quickly coming up with a lie to get rid of her.

Quistis blinked at him, pausing her thought-process. "D-did he say why?" she asked.

Zell shook his head. "No clue. Just maybe he wants to have... a ... private interview session with you...?"

Squall looked up to Zell's face. Zell looked down to meet Squall's cloudy eyes. The sapphire swirls sparkled at Squall, then turned back to watch Quistis stand up.

"I... guess I'll go talk to him," Quistis said, brushing off her skirt and straightening her blouse.

Zell smiled at her.

"Thank you, Zell," Quistis said before turning around and walking into the small crowd.

"Zell...?" Squall said softly.

Zell looked down at Squall, smirking. "Better, baby?"

"You..." Squall paused, then smiled his small smirk again. "Thank you."

Zell nodded, jumping off the couch. "Lets go back to your room," Zell said, taking Squall's hand, pulling him up.

-Squall's Hotel Room-

Squall pressed his lips down onto Zell's, harshly kissing the blonde boy.

Zell kissed back for a while then moved his lips from Squall's, letting Squall continue.

"So... tomorrow?" Zell said softly.

"Tomorrow?" Squall replied, but continued to kiss down Zell's neck. He pushed Zell's coat off his shoulder's sliding his hands down Zell's arms after the jacket. Zell's coat fell to the floor.

"You ... are gonna see you dad?" Zell asked.

Squall pulled back from kissing Zell, looking up to meet Zell's gaze. Squall's expression was blank as he read Zell's eyes.

"Seifer told you?" he asked after a moment

Zell half-smiled. "Yeah."

"Would... you like to meet my father?" Squall asked.

"Yes!" Zell smiled brightly.

Squall sighed. "My father... isn't anything like me. Completely opposite, really."

"That's fine," Zell said. "You... mind if I met him?"

Squall shook his head. "Of course not, Zell. Just... a warning, my father is very talkative."

Zell smiled. "Okay, baby."

Squall smiled meekly back then moved forward again to kiss Zell.

"I guess," Squall spoke softly, between kisses. "Its only fair... since I spoke with... your mother... on the phone."

"Oh!" Zell said, pulling back from Squall. "You did!"

Squall looked at Zell blankly. "Yes..."

"I mean! I know you did! Oh Hyne! What... she... you," Zell swallowed. "What'd she say?"

Squall shrugged. "Just asked about..." Squall's cheeks held a light rouge. He fell silent, looking into Zell's sapphire eyes.

"Uh-huu! She?! What'd she say? ... Wait, what did you tell her?" Zell asked, his own face flushing.

Squall's shoulder's slump. He took Zell's arm and lead him slowly to the bed. "I guess we're going to be talking for a while, then?"

Zell blushed slightly, smiling. "Sorry baby."

Squall nodded. "Its alright. So..." Squall pulled Zell onto the bed, laying down, wrapping his arms around Zell. "... mother... phone. She asked... where you were going to stay, so she could call you and make sure you were okay. You're mother is good, you realize that? ... I stupidly said that... you'd stay in my hotel room."

Zell closed his eyes, sighing. "Dat's just wonderful. Ma now knows I'm sleeping with you. How embarrassing!" Zell put his hands over his face.

"She also asked about... the other night... in Balamb... after the concert," Squall said slowly.

Zell made a soft whine sound. "I can't go home. No. I can't look at her again..."

Squall caressed Zell's arm. "Sorry."

Zell moved his hands from his face, turning his head to look at Squall. "Its alright. Whoops. Besides, like she couldn't have guessed."

Turning to lay on his side, Zell moved to press his lips back to Squall's.

Squall pulled Zell against him, opening his mouth for Zell to explore. After Zell's tongue caressed through Squall's mouth, Zell moved to kiss down Squall's neck, tasting the pale flesh with his tongue.

"Seifer said," Zell said, moving back from Squall again.

Squall groaned, falling back onto his back.

Zell laughed quietly. "Sorry... but... Seifer spoke to me at that party thing just now."

Squall breathed, waiting for Zell to get to the point.

"I guess it doesn't matter... but I thought it was nice of him to ... make sure I knew you two didn't have sex," Zell explained.

Squall looked at Zell blankly. "He's a good man."

Zell put his hand on Squall's chest, his fingers lightly dancing over the material. "You having second thoughts about... not being with him anymore?" He blinked, his sapphire eyes sparkling a strange longing look.

Squall closed his eyes, unable to keep eye-contact with Zell. Not with the way Zell was looking at him. Not with those blue eyes. Those eyes that broke all Squall's reason for being heartless.

"I ... am ... sad that I've hurt him," the answer finally came to Squall. "He... I care about him a lot," Squall continued, forcing his eyes open.

Hyne above! Now those sapphire sparkles were looking at Squall with plain hurt. Although Zell was trying to look understanding.

Squall opened his mouth, trying to find a way to completely explain to Zell what he felt for Seifer. "He... You are the best thing that ever happened to me, Zell." Squall decided he'd go for the long explanation.

Zell just nodded, waiting.

"You made me realize how special my life is. How much enjoyment I can get from living. And I do enjoy. ...Seifer ... you see, when I first met him, four years ago, I was far, far worse .. emotionally, then I am today. Then I was three weeks ago when you met me. I was completely emotionally hallowed out. Nothing mattered ...

"I'd walk out into the street without looking both ways," Squall tried to explain. "Its not that I wanted to die. I never wanted that. I don't want that now. Its that I didn't care either way. There wasn't anything in my life worth caring about. And Seifer changed that for me, when I met him."

Zell swallowed, listening in silence.

"He gave me friendship. He cared about me. And he gave me love. As well as my life today... Blood Kiss. He made me Griever," Squall put his hand on Zell's arm. "And he gave me sex. Sex and Blood Kiss are the only two things that make me... made me express anything beyond my absolute indifference.

"And thanks to you, Zell - my beautiful boy, I appreciate Seifer for the first time in the four years that I've known him. And I like having him around. I like being with him. He is and always will be my best friend. And I would be heartbroken if he never spoke to me again."

Zell felt his heart drop. This wasn't the way this conversation was supposed to go. Squall was suppose to tell Zell how much he'd rather be with him then with Seifer. Not that Zell made Squall like Seifer!

"Before I met you, Zell," Squall continued, taking Zell's chin in his hand and moving the blonde's face to have their eyes met. "Before I met you, I wouldn't have cared if Seifer never spoke to me again."

Zell blinked, frowning slightly.

Squall shook his head. "It didn't matter. Blood Kiss, Seifer, sex, money... nothing.. not my fame, fortune, life. Before I met you, I was emotionally barren. I enjoyed Blood Kiss. Enjoyed things. But if I'd lost them, I wouldn't have cared. And you changed that, Zell. You made me realize how wonderful my life really is. You showed me that there is more to this life then just existing. I didn't realize that before. And I don't know how you did it to me. ... And it scares me."

The air in Zell's throat choked him. He smiled down at Squall, putting his hand on Squall's cheek. "Baby... There isn't anything to be afraid of."

"What would happen if I lost it all, Zell?" Squall asked in a very soft, airy voice. "What would happen if I lose you?!"

Zell shook his head slowly. "Don't worry, baby," he caressed Squall's cheek, moving a finger to trace over Squall's lips. "I'm not going anywhere."

Squall breathed, seeing the look in Zell's beautiful eyes. The sparkling lust-filled hunger as well as caring and longing that flowed out from the sapphire eyes.

Squall wrapped his arms around Zell's shoulders, pulling the blonde down. "Make love to me."

Zell smiled a loving expression then closed his eyes, pressing his lips to Squall's.

A brief while later their clothes were completely stripped off, their naked bodies pressed close together. Squall's legs were spread, Zell's hips locked against Squall's ass, buried deep inside the brunette Super Star.

Zell propped his body up with his hands pressed to the mattress on either side of Squall's head. His hips grinded into Squall's body while he moaned in desire.

Squall watched Zell, his hands traveling over Zell's body, watching and listening to everything Zell did.

The strong scent of sex and hunger filled the air around Squall. He pushed his hips higher, grinding harder against Zell, his ass-muscles clenching onto Zell, pulling, begging for Zell to go harder.

"Baby," Zell whispered, his sapphire spheres opening to look down at Squall.

Squall's meek smile formed. "Bishounen?"

"I... I don't want to stop. Ever," Zell moaned, thrusting harder.

Squall could feel Zell's cock throbbing in hunger, the shaft pulling in and out faster and faster.

"Don't," Squall replied. "Stay inside of me."

Zell's body pushed harder onto Squall's. Squall pulled Zell down, hugging him tightly. His body begging Zell to go harder, deeper, faster.

"You... feel so amazing," Zell groaned, his voice rigged with hunger.

"Stay locked in my body, don't leave me," Squall whispered into Zell's ear. "Don't leave me empty."

Zell's breathing increased to rapped breaths, clearing showing his coming orgasm. "Squall..." he moaned out.

"Cum inside of me, bishounen," Squall begged, fucking harder up against Zell's thrusts. "Deeper!"

"I missed you so much... without... I felt so alone," Zell cried, forcing his body harder, thrusting faster, trying to fill Squall's hunger.

"... Everything was so empty without you, Zell," Squall replied, clenching his body hard on Zell's cock. "My body, my soul, my heart. ... Touch me, bishounen. ... Don't stop making love to me!"

Zell body buckled, his hips thrusting hard, his cock pounding into Squall's ass. Squall held onto Zell's body, letting the blonde ride out his orgasm, feeling the ripping thrusts.

"Squall!" Zell yelled as his seed spilled into Squall's body, filling Squall.

Feeling Zell's load release, Squall gripped Zell tightly, his nails digging into Zell's back. He rocked his hips hard, feeling his own cock grinding against Zell's stomach. Then his orgasm took control, leaving Squall stranded in pleasure for a few moments. His cum spilled out.

Squall's body relaxed into the mattress, Zell laying heavily on top of him.

Kissing Squall's cheek, Zell whispered "I missed you."

Squall turned his head to look into Zell's sapphire eyes, the cloudy spheres of Squall's own eyes sparking in satisfied lust. "I missed you," he replied. "You are my heaven, bishounen."

Zell smiled a happy, caring smile, his expression soft with love. "I'll stay with you, baby. ... I won't leave you," Zell said, referring to Squall's fear of being alone.

Squall hugged Zell tightly, closing his eyes, snuggling against the blonde.
