Final Fantasy - All Series Fan Fiction ❯ Starla's Dance ❯ Chapter 10
When he left Vincent, Cloud went to Starla. He had taken time out in Vincent's distraction with Sephiroth to hide her on the third floor. Second would have been efficient but Cloud did not want Vincent finding her. Or hearing what he planed to do with her. That would be one situations he could not spare his life. Cloud smiled to himself, Vincent could be so stupid. He actually believed what Cloud and told him.
Again Cloud felt himself aroused. Uncomfortably Cloud tugged at his pants. Starla would quench his ache until she bore him a girl. His mind drifted to that thought a wicked smile crossing his face.
It never dawned on him how sick he was.
When he entered Starla's room she lay still on the bed. Her arms and legs tied to the four corners of the bed. Her bare chest rose and fell in short breathes. She looked to be sound asleep, however when Cloud crawled unto the bed between her legs her eyes shot open.
Cloud fiddled with his top button, below him Starla struggled. As he raped her the second time he held a knife to her neck and encouraged her to struggle. He liked the sensation. When he was done he lay on her and drifted off to sleep exhausted.
Fifteen minutes he woke to a scream, a few minutes later followed by two gun shots. Jumping from the bed, he tucked himself into his pants as her ran to investigate. Taking the stares four at a time, before he burst unto the first floor and sliding into the lobby.
By the contraption Vincent stood over Sephiroth. Sephiroth's gray hair cascading down like a water fall, covering his face. As he tried to rise Cloud notice the broken shackle on his wrist. His body shook violently with the effort. Vincent's face hardened as he pulled the trigger again. Sephiroth jerked and collapsed to the ground. Using his boot Vincent rolled Sephiroth unto his back.
"WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR?!" Cloud screamed in fury.
Calmly Vincent stepped over Sephiroth walking towards Cloud. "He had no confession, it was not him who framed you-I put him out of his misery."
Fury raged through cloud as he saw red trickle from beneath Sephiroth's hair. Beneath mussed up locks of hair Cloud could see a relaxed pained look. Sephiroth's skin was also much paler. Gritting his teeth Cloud grabbed Vincent and yanked him to face him. Muscles in his jaw twitched as he refrained his anger.
"He was MY kill!"
Cloud grabbed for Vincent's beretta as Vincent pulled it. There was a brief struggle before two shots rang out. Vincent's eyes grew wide as two bullets tore from his back. Having run up diagonally from his stomach. Most likely to have pierced his heart or lungs, among other organs along the way. His face calmed as he smiled.
"Eh, death, my friend," Vincent said as he dropped to the ground. As his eyes rolled into his head he said more. "Death, who has never failed me."
Staring at the blood soaked beretta, the image of Vincent on the ground fuzzed. Carelessly he tossed the gun aside. Walking over to Sephiroth he reached to check his pulse to make sure he was dead.
The masumune spun out at Cloud. Just barely Cloud dodge with only a scratch across his chest. Sephiroth jumped to his feet his eyes full of rage. Dumbly Cloud looked at him. He saw the blood, he saw Sephiroth collapse. Gingerly Sephiroth touched the back of his head.
"Bloody wanker putting using a pellet on me." Sephiroth lowered his hand and glanced only shortly at Vincent. "Now you die."
Sephiroth lunged at Cloud, Cloud pulled out his sword and swung at Sephiroth. Both swords clashed, but Cloud had the upper hand. Sephiroth was still heavily wounded. The only reason why he fought was his anger and his lust for blood.
Trying a low swing, Cloud jumped it. Then Sephiroth tried to skewer him in the air. But the length of the sword, and his injuries made him to slow. Cloud crashed an elbow into Sephiroth's face knocking him back a few steps. Sephiroth collapsed to his knees. Cloud raised his sword in the final strike.
Five shots rang out one after the other. Four times Cloud jerked blood staining the front of his dark shirt. The other one whizzed close past Sephiroth. Slowly Cloud turned to face Starla wrapped in a white sheet holding the bloodied gun. She was still pulling the trigger as it clicked.
"Fuck!"
Raising the sword Cloud ran at her, but not before Sephiroth ran him through. Sephiroth twisted the sword around, as Clouds heavier sword hit the ground.
"Not this time you bastard."
Cloud dropped to his knee; Sephiroth pulled his sword free. There was a soft thump as Cloud hit the floor. Tiredly Sephiroth looked up into the face of Starla.
"Glad." Was all Sephiroth said as he collapsed.
Rushing up to him, she pulled him into his arms. "Not yet, we have to get out of here."
With her help Sephiroth rose. Together they walked towards the door.
