People screamed and scattered from the room. A few brave souls pressed against the wall as the dead form on the table slowly rose. Heavy red eyes looked out at the people through cascading black hair. Finally his eyes fell on familiar face; Cid. His eyes narrowed with anger, frustration, and desperation. Cid shrank back slightly in fear.
"Fuck, goddamn, Vincent, what the fuck with you playing goddamn dead and fucking all." Shouted Cid pulling the cigarette from his mouth.
"Where are my clothes?"
"Shit, like I know." Cid looked into Vincent's eyes. "Goddamn you fucking bastard. I don't know why they sent your goddamn cursed body to me. Your supposed to be damn dead as a bloody door nail." The curses continued as Cid waddled to retrieve some clothes. Then became clear as he walked in holding a stack of clothes. "-ing bullet strait through your goddamn heart starting from your fucking stomach. Shit, went right out your back."
Vincent snatched the clothes and looked momentarily as the sickly purple scar before sliding a tight black turtle neck over his head. Grabbing the pants he grunted in effort of pulling them on. Not even bothering to try to squeeze into the underwear provided.
"Dead, never dead." Vincent said softly. "Death is for humans, and monsters-I am neither."
"The what the goddamn hell are you?"
"... ... I don't know."
"Shit, well I can fucking tell you, you just scared the fucking hell out of my family, and everyone who fucking came here to making sure you were goddamn dead."
"I'm taking the Highwind." Vincent said walking towards the door.
"Fuck, your not."
Vincent glared back at Cid. "You have a family do you dare stop me."
Walking towards the ship Vincent ignored Cid's long loud cursing streak. He knew Cid would not stop him. Vincent strangely wondered if Cloud knew Cid was still alive. Much less had a family as large. Ten kids, some of them adults. One with children of his own. A low growl grew in Vincent's throat as images of Lucercia played in his minds eye.
