Because you know I can't stay mad at you,

The whole class gaped at this--thouggh it wasn't unusual for a poem of this calibet. It was the words.
Ryan didn't gape at her--he wasn't the type to--he just stared, thinking that there might be some hidden meaning behind the words. He knew it the instant she was reluctant to go that there was something wrong. Something horribly wrong. And his bad feelings usually proved right.
With a sigh, Yuffie sat down.
"Um, Miss Kirasagi, would you care to tell us the main subject of that poem?" she hated when the teacher asked her questions she already knew the answer to.
"It's about how sometimes a close friend can do one bad thing to you that changes your life forever, but you can't stay mad at them," she explained.
When she felt the eyes of her classmates staring at her, she just wanted to yell, "I can see you staring at me! Sure, stare at the freak with no life--see if she gives a damn! Damn, just leave me the hell alone!"
The next block, Ryan was still thinking about those words. Partially because he sat next to Yuffie in Technology. Something happened that got his mind off them--but only for a second.
A young girl, about the age of four, ahd walked into the lab, supposedly looking for her mother. When Yuffie arrived, she just stood there with her mouth open.
"Kiri?!"
Who's this girl, Kiri? Where died she come from? Why does Yuffie act the way she does towards her? All this and more in the next chapter!
