It took me months to get over it!

And during that time I had gone home for three weeks of vacation, and actually got myself contact-lens! Yeah for me!

Anyway…

Here is Chapter 6!

Sakura stands in front of the conference-room door, and takes a deep breath before knocking.

“Come in”, a man's voice replies.

“You wanted to see me?”, she asks, poking her head in.

“Ah Dr. Inugami, so glad you got our message”, one of the board-members says.

“Chief of Emergency-Medicine; Dr. Saito”, she nods, entering the room and closing the door behind her.

She notices the other board-members, “Greetings to you Chief of Surgery; Dr. Bradly, Chief of Phyciatry; Dr. Kai, Chief of Intensive Care; Dr. Baker, and it is good to see you Hospital Director; Dr. Faremis Gast”, she addresses the members.

“Please take a seat, Sakura”, Dr. Gast says, motioning to a chair in the center of the room.

Sakura sits down, “So, what is the reason for this meeting?”, she asks.

“This concerns your patient; Vincent Valentine”, Dr. Baker replies.

“What is the problem?”

“It's his father's insurance, it's coverage expires in three-days and then Vincent is to be booted into human-service's care”, Dr. Saito states.

“But he hasn't recovered yet…”, Sakura informs, quickly standing up.

“We know that. And that is why we have decided to not boot him to human-services and have his stay with you until he can rejoin the world again”, Dr. Gast says.

“But…”

“Is there a problem, doctor? Do you not have enough room at your place?”, Dr. Kai questions.

“No, it isn't that… I have a spare-bedroom”, she answers, “It's just, does it follow the treatment protocol?”

“We checked over the rules, and it falls under home-care”, Dr. Bradly states.

“I understand…”

“So in three-days, Vincent Valentine will be released into your guardianship”, Dr. Gast says, “You're dismissed”.

Sakura nods in understanding, turning to leave the room.

“Oh and one more thing, doctor”, Gast adds.

“Yes, sir?”

“Keep up the great work”.

“Thank you, sir”, she thanks, bowing.

Downstairs…

`I can't believe it… Vincent is going to be living with me!', Sakura thinks, blushing as she walks back to Vincent's hospital-room.

As she approaches his room, she could hear female goggling coming from inside.

“Just great…”, she sighs, rolling her eyes as she enters the room.

She sees five nurses crowding around Vincent's bed.

“He is so cute…”, one nurse says.

“He looks like an angel when he sleeps…”, another nurse states.

The other three nurses simply giggle or sigh in awe.

“Ah-hem!”, Sakura coughs, gaining the nurses' attention, “This isn't proper behavior for nurses”.

“Cast-iron much…”, one of the nurses mutters as they left.

Sakura just glares at them, watching them vanish through the door.

She walks over to Vincent's bedside, looking down at him. His pale light peach-colored skin shone with an ethereal-glow and his mid-night onyx black hair had a glossy-shine to it in the sunlight streaming in through the window; he looked enchanting and dreamlike. She smiles down at him, moving her hand to brush a stray hair from his face.

“Are they gone, yet?”, Vincent asks, peeking open on of his crimson eyes.

“Uh, yeah they are…”, she replies, retracting her hand and blushes.

“Good…”, he sighs, as he sits up, “I thought they'd never leave!”

“Hey Vincent?”, she says, sitting down on the edge of his bed.

“What is it?”

“I have good news and bad news, which do you want to hear first?”

“Bad…”

“Your father's insurance-coverage ends in three-days then you're being booted from the hospital's care”.

“Oh…”, he says, looking down at his hands, “What's the good news?”

“The Broad of Directors are allowing me to continue your care and letting you live with me till you've fully recovered”.

“I see…”, he replies, blushing.
