Story notes:
This is an AU, it has no real bearing on canon and I know it. Squall is not a crazy womanizer and most of us know it. The one thing you need to know is that this is in second person point of view present tense (i.e. 'you watch him walk through the door' mode).
Cast: You, the therapist
Squall, the person needing therapy,
Quistis, Squall's first victim,
Selphie, Squall's second victim,
Dr. Kadowaki, Squall's third and oldest victim,
And
Rinoa, the person who makes him a victim

10:00 AM: Part One: The Lion (PATIENT ONE: Squall Leonhart)
You watch him closely. He walks in the door as though he wasn't forced. His brown hair falls just below his ears, tickling the white ruff on his jacket; his eyes are of an icy blue and something about them seems…stormy.
You greet him, "Hello. Welcome to the Esthar City Mental Center. Please wait, your doctor will be with you in a moment."
You don't often stand in the waiting room, but the secretary is off today (she called in earlier this morning and said something about a 'child educational function') and you, being the newest staff member, are required to do what she should be doing. You curse her children to be worthless under your breath for the hundredth time this morning and wait for him to sit down.
He notices the ID badge on your shirt.
He gestures to it, asking, " Doctor Evangeline-Lynn Redfield, right?"
You nod.
"I'm Squall Leonhart. I believe we have an appointment at *800 hours-- I mean ten o' clock?"
You nod again. "Please follow me."
The two of you reach your office and you wonder why he was assigned to you in particular. Squall sits down on a couch.
You note where he chooses to sit and say, " This is a therapy session. It is designed to help you cope with your problems. Everything that transpires within this room is completely confidential." You smile ironically. Well, it would be if it weren't for the fact that I'm required to record everything that you say.
Paying no mind to his silence, you continue, "It will remain confidential unless someone is hurting you, you plan to hurt someone, or you give me permission to show the records I keep to someone else. Do you understand that?"
Squall nods.
"Please begin. Let's start from the beginning. Who was your first partner?"
Squall squirms a bit then answers, "Instructor Quistis Trepe."
"Please tell me about it."
He nods and begins to speak, " I always wanted women. I would think of come-ons, but could never bring my self to use them. When I saw Seifer making passes at Quistis, I couldn't keep myself from challenging him. Everyone thought that it was training, but at least he didn't come on to Quistis again. If he had, I guess she would have been more experienced. Seifer has gotten a lot of girls expelled. And female teachers and SeeDs discharged. So I'm thankful Quistis and I were more discreet than Seifer and his partners were. Seifer had always wanted offspring. I guess he got his wish. But that's something only Seifer and his partners know, and they're not telling."
You frown. "We're not here to talk about Seifer. We're here to talk about you."
"I know, I know," Squall says and continues, "At least Quistis didn't know what the Trepies were doing. Such playboys! I had seen some of their work, as they called it (mostly pictures). I was impressed by their familiarity with her body. It was later that I found out that they were photographing her in bed, in the showers, and just about anywhere else that they had any chance of seeing her nude. They then re-drew the photos on notebook paper, pretended to be passing notes, and showed every man in the room the drawings."
He pauses, as though thinking about what to say.
He shakes his head and rams through the rest, " I made her faint several times during some of our battles on our way to capture Ifrit. She was so easy to charm! Seduction is a dish best served cold. Maybe she can tell more. I hid my inexperience well. Maybe too well."
You look at the clock.
"I have another appointment in half an hour," You say.
He bids you goodbye and leaves.

11:30 AM: Part Two: the Savant (PATIENT TWO: Quistis Trepe)
You are working at your desk when a small chime sounds (lucky for you, the 'child educational function' ended about thirty minutes into your appointment with Squall). You look at the clock and find it to be eleven thirty. A young woman walks in your door. She has long blonde hair, fair blue eyes, and a complexion Helen of Troy would die for. Her peach leather business suit fits as tightly about her as a second skin. She is nervous although she hides it well. You smile and motion for her to have a seat.
"Hello Instructor Trepe. How are you?" You ask, hoping to soothe her nerves.
She nods.
"This is a therapy session. It is designed to help you cope with your problems. Everything that transpires within this room is completely confidential. It will remain confidential unless someone is hurting you, you plan to hurt someone, or you give me permission to show the records I keep to someone else."
Quistis nods to show that she understands.
"Let us begin, then. What was your experience with Squall?"
Quistis looks down at her hands, then begins, " I suppose I should give you a bit of background. I had always wanted a man. Not really anyone in general, I just wanted-- no, needed-- a man. Men had been my weakness. I was inexperienced, and Squall was obviously a master of seduction. I think that Squall wasn't a virgin at the time. He was so familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of a woman's body. I must have seemed an innocent child to him. Of course I did: he, a master of seduction, and I, the seduced."
You hold up your hand to stop her, "No self-bashing allowed, Quistis. Continue."
She looks abashed, but continues, " I allowed myself to fall for him, admitted that I had always wanted him, that I was his student, and he must have loved to have such power over me. I didn't realize until later that he had Scanned me! He had read my strengths and weaknesses, had used this knowledge, and had even made me blind to one thing: it wasn't the monsters that made me attack him, it was him! He had needed a reason to make me faint! Having me attack him was the perfect reason! Why, oh why, do I not regret it? Why do I enjoy the thought that we permanently stained Balamb Hotel's sheets? If we didn't, it must have taken the poor receptionist hours to get the blood and milt out. I later learned that Squall had taken advantage of my adrenaline disorder."
"Hold a bit. Please explain your disorder."
"Well, it's a disorder that doesn't allow me to deal with a certain amount of adrenaline. It's part of why I was fired. Anyway, it doesn't kick in the fight-or-flight reaction; instead, it makes me want to fight. There are some effects that linger, such as an increase in endorphin production. I have no idea how it happens. It just does."
You are familiar with ADEPS (Adrenaline Deficiency Endorphin Proficiency Syndrome). You motion for her to continue with her story.
She does, "Doctor Kadowaki diagnosed me and the diagnosis wasn't as confidential as I thought. It turns out that Dr. Kadowaki has a love of being sloshed. And she's a loose tongue when she is. I have heard that she is given to taking Anodyne. It can down one's defenses against illness, which explains why she was sick. She let it slip to me that Seifer was the one who got her hooked, and Squall was the one who took advantage of it, selling it to her for the price of information about me. Ruthless! He sold drugs and alcohol to a woman who needed help, not more drugs and alcohol!"
She has told you all she can. The chime rings and she walks off.

1:00 PM: Interlude: The Lion
You are talking to Squall with a communication screen.
"Who was your second partner?" You ask.
Squall sighs and says, "Selphie. She was, I am sorry to say, fun. It's fun to get an innocent drunk. It's even more fun to make said innocent do embarrassing things when they're drunk. And it's more fun than that to get Selphie drunk! She was so fun. She was obviously afraid to even get a drink with me, but the fear cells go first, I'm afraid. This means I got her to go skinny-dipping in the First Floor Fountain. I also got the security cameras working, which meant, I GOT A VIDEOTAPE OF IT! She was a little more subdued after she was apprehended by one of the male security guards. It was then that the time was right. I got her three more drinks, lead her to her dorm, and made sure no one was coming. I don't think she remembered what happened the morning after, when she woke up with three beer bottles beside her bed, two used condoms on her dresser, stained sheets, and one hell of a headache."
He nods.
You smile and turn the screen off.

2:00 PM: Part Three: The Innocent (PATIENT THREE: Selphie Tilmett)
You are surprised when a young-looking woman bounces in. Her yellow sundress reaches her knees. She has merry green eyes, honey brown hair, and a fairy-like face.
You inform her of the basics (you're here to help, etc., etc., etc.) and say, "Let's begin. Tell me about your experience with Squall."
Selphie sighs and speaks. "Man, was I stupid!"
"No self-bashing." You say.
She laughs and continues, " I almost got myself in major trouble! When I woke up with one heck of a headache, I thought that something was wrong. When I saw the beer bottles, I knew. It was like, 'Good morning world!' and then, 'I wish I hadn't said that.' I didn't start freaking out until I saw the sheets. I didn't faint until I saw the condoms. The used condoms. I woke up in the Infirmary with Dr. Kadowaki standing over me. She looked pretty upset. When she asked me why I fainted, I explained what I had woken up to. She told me I had been seen with Squall before I went to bed."
She pulls one foot onto the couch. "Not only had I been seen with Squall, I had been seen with Squall in a bar. Which meant one of three things: Squall had been drinking, I had been drinking, or both of us had been drinking. At the time, I thought the last most likely. When a student mentioned that Squall's voice hadn't at all been slurred when he said he was taking me to my dorm, I realized that I had been the one drinking. I find it hard to believe that Squall took advantage of me. I would have expected that from Irvine. But Squall? Nope. Not Squall. He was my best friend, aside from Zell. And I would never have even thought about having sex with Zell.
Squall said later that I wouldn't stop coming on to him. I know that Squall wouldn't lie to me, so I must have been coming on to him when he was taking me to my dorm. I later learned that we had been going out for Martinis, not beer, and that I had ordered myself three beers near the end of the outing. The beers I found in my room. I don't think he knew that I had hidden condoms in my room-- for a friend of mine--. I found out that he had gotten me to do some embarrassing things. I was mad. But that's the end of my story."
The chime rings and she walks out.

Interlude: The Lion
"Dr. Kadowaki is a female geezer," Squall says. The screen is transmitting his face and voice again.
He continues, "She was pleasurable, but only as in what one would normally get in sex. Addicts aren't what everyone says they are. I find Dr. Kadowaki very dull when tripping. So very dull. I had better not give her any more Opiate. The woman gets stoned on that drug like I've never seen any one get stoned before."
He takes the cap off of a small bottle.
"Phew."
He lifts bottle to his nose, "Well, I'm done for now."
He smells its contents, "Ahh."
You type 'addict or actor?' in your notes.

3:00 PM: Part Four: the Medic (PATIENT FOUR: Dr. Mikojoi Kadowaki)
You look at Dr. Kadowaki for a moment. She shows all the signs of an Anodyne addict. She sits down and smiles at you.
"Tell me about your experience with Squall." You say.
She smiles again, "Squall! So clever, that boy. He used my weakness, lack of wit. Oh dear, was he nice. I can't believe he got me stoned in my own infirmary! How could he be so clever! And to think, he can get more information out of me with a few bottles of beer and an hour to spare than Quistis gets out of me in a month! Let's see, how did he snare me? I think he brought a drug to my infirmary, a drug called Opiate."
You are familiar with the drug and its effects. It acts like alcohol in an extremely concentrated form.
"It was supposed to be used in very diluted form in an oil burner, but he unscrewed the cap, stuffed it under my nose, and told me to inhale. I inhaled, and suddenly, it was like there were no rules. It was the most wonderful feeling I've ever had. Anyway, the last thing I remember is looking at Squall. I woke up on my own examining table with a condom next to me. The drug was on the floor. I must have dropped it. I looked down at myself to see that the examination camera was on, and it was zooming in at me. I realized that I was nude, and had no idea why I had a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach. I signed in as ill, closed the infirmary, and looked at the tape. It showed me getting high. It also showed me getting in Squall's pants. I was ashamed of myself. When I confronted Squall, apologizing, he only smiled and said he was the one who got me high. I was confused for a few days, until he pieced it together for me. And here I am, talking to you, dear therapist. Poor Quistis. He had her enchanted, and then she found out that he was only wanton towards her, and felt nothing for her but pity."
You frown. You find that Squall is more devious than you initially thought. He may or may not recover, you realize.
5:00 PM: Part Four: The Angel (PATIENT FIVE: Rinoa Heartilly)
"Squall, Squall, Squall. How in the world did you fall for my trick?" Rinoa asks rhetorically.
You are using a communication screen again. You smile and tell her to continue.
She does so, "I'm not going to tell you about my experience with Squall. I'll tell you what I've heard. I've heard that he has tricked several women into sleeping with him. A Quistis Trepe included. I have also heard that she was asked to resign because of him. Dr. Kadowaki was something everyone knew about. I wonder why she was not fired. But what happened with Selphie? Did he tell everyone that they were dating? Why in the world was Selphie not discharged? Oh, well. I like competition."
She winks.
Is that a challenge? You wonder.
10:00 AM the next morning: Part Five: The Lion
You motion for Squall to begin.
"As I said, I had always wanted women. I still do. I always will. But right now, I know that the only woman I'll be tricking is Rinoa, and I won't fool her for long. Rinoa is no fool. She knows the way I feel about women, but at least I'll have a reason to stop making passes at the SeeDs in the lobby. So, for now, it looks like I won't be embarrassing Xu."
You smile. "You're on the road to recovery."
He smiles back, "Why thank you, Doctor Redfield."
"It's nothing." You say. I wonder how long it'll take you to relapse.
