Anyway, I'm typing this at 3 in the morning, so forgive me if some words are not readable. Oh, and this chapter begins the shounen-ainess of the story. So here's chapter 3!!! Yawn! ^_^' hehe.

Zell

Zell Dincht woke up to the sound of piano playing.

"Huh?" he said with a yawn, "What time is it?"

He looked up at the clock. 10:45 AM.

"Aww, man. I overslept."

He walked out of his room and into the common room of the dorm. His eyes widened with surprise.

"SQUALL!!"

Squall nearly fell off the piano stool.

"You? Here? It's a dream come true!" Zell said.

"Hey, Zell," Squall said, reluctantly, remembering his journal.

"When did you get back?"

"Last night."

"Last night?" Zell said, remembering his dream.

In his dream, Squall and him were playing one-on-one basketball. Zell won. In the locker room, Zell asked Squall,

"Why'd you let me win?"

"I didn't."

Zell shrugged it off. He took off his clothes and put it into the locker. He wrapped a towel around his waist and headed to the showers.

Suddenly, a voice from behind said,

"I let you win because I love you and don't you to be hurt."

Zell turned around. It was Squall. He was fully naked. Squall grabbed Zell's towel and flung it away. Squall then pushed Zell onto the tiled floor. What happened next took Zell completely by surprise. Squall kissed him. Suddenly, Squall began kissing other parts of his body. When Squall got to his belly button, Squall sighed an `I love you' and the dream faded to an end.

"What are you thinking about, Zell?" Squall asked, with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh, nothing," Zell said, blushing.

"Uh-huh. Whatever. Anyway, here are the notes from the lecture you missed. I didn't wanna wake you."

Squall threw three pieces of paper on the small coffee table.

"Thanks."

Zell suddenly spotted a book by Squall's feet.

"What the...?" he said, picking up the book.

He flipped through the pages.

"Hey, this is my old journal. Squall, you didn't? Did you?"

"Did I what?" Squall said, trying to hide his guilt.

Zell glared at Squall.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry I read it," Squall said, breaking down and falling on his knees in a praying position.

"Squall, I'm surprised at you. But, everything I wrote in here, you should already know."

"Huh?"

"Never mind. So what were you playing before I woke up?"

"Uh...the piano?"

"Argh! I know the piano. But what piece?"

"Oh. `Moonlight Sonata' by Ludwig Van Beethoven. Wanna hear?"

"Sure."

Squall started playing the piano. Classical music filled the dorm room. After he finished playing "Moonlight Sonata," Squall played another piece.

"What's this one?

"Für Élise. My favorite piece."

Zell was so moved by Squall's talent that he sat down on the piano stool next to him.

"Can you teach me?" Zell asked

"Sure. I'll try."

Squall did his best, teaching Zell how to play the piano. Soon Zell did better than Squall did on his first day of learning.

"Good. You're doin' good."

This was the best day of Zell's life. Zell kept on playing as Squall stood up.

"I'm gonna head to the Cafeteria. You wanna come or should I bring something back for you?" squall asked, putting on his jacket.

Suddenly, a perverted idea came into Zell's head.

"Uh...yeah. Bring me back some hot dogs."

"Hot dogs?"

"Yeah, and some soda."

"What kinda soda?"

"Uh...," Zell said, looking up into space," Diet Pepsi Vanilla. A guy's gotta keep his figure."

Zell flexed a muscle and winked. Squall exasperated and left the dorm.
