Chapter one

 

* The story begins on a red air ship flying above the world called Spira, a blonde haired girl about the age of 19 walks out of the cabin, onto the elevator and then heads down to the bridge where she sees her friends and then smiles happily *

 

 

* From the blonde haired girls POV *

 

“ Good morning Rikku, did you sleep well???” asked a tall tan guy with short blonde hair and wearing goggles. “ How are you doing on your first pen pal letter???”

 

That's Buddy, he is my brother's best friend and his right-hand man. I wouldn't call him my best friend, but he is a good friend nether or less. Oh, and if you are wondering, Rikku is my real name, sorry to say, but I haven't thought of a pen pal name yet, so if you think of one tell me ok!

 

“ I'm still working on it, how is Spira doing?”

 

“ Well, for right now everything is quiet, I haven't picked up any sphere wave.” Said Buddy looking on his computer screen to make sure.

 

“ Yeah, so you should enjoy the time off, besides, it gives you a chance to write your first letter to your pen pal!” said a light brown haired woman who's about the age of 21, has one blue eye and one green and is pregnant.

 

That's Yuna, yes, as in High Summoner Yuna, I was one of her guardians during her pilgrimage to defeat Sin, she is also my cousin and best friend! Her, Paine and I are members of the Gullwings. Yuna was the one who suggested I get a pen pal. She only visits (not works) us on the weekends because during the week she spends time with her husband Tidus. He disappeared for a while but then came back, and then him and Yuna got married (I was Yunie's brides maid!!!!!), and now they are expecting a little baby girl!!!!!! And in case your wondering, the Gullwings are sphere hunters, we travel around Spira and look for spheres that help us understand more about Spira's past, it also gives us a sense of adventure.

 

“ Forget about writing your letter, just relax while you still can, I can't remember the last time we had a break!” said a woman about the age of 20 who has brown hair and red eyes.

 

That's Paine, she is one of those keeps to her self, tough, aren't afraid of anything type girl. But that doesn't mean she is bad, actually, she is a great friend, and like Yunie, she has my full trust.

 

“ Hey Shinra, is it ok if I use the comspheres, I want to look around.”

 

“ Sure, go ahead.” Said a little boy who's face/head was hidden in a mask.

 

Shirna is a know-it-all kid who is always working on a new invention, the comsphere is one of them. It allows us to talk to people all over Spira from our airship. And oh, before I forget to tell you,, My brother, Buddy, Shinra and I are all Al Bhed, we speak English very well but some times we slip back into Al Bhed.

 

“ Oh, Rikku, I wanted to use the comshpere!!!!! Wined Yuna.

 

“ YUNA!!!!! Rikku, did you hear that, if Yuna wants to use the comsphere, then Yuna gets to use the comsphere!!!!” said a man with blonde hair that is in a Mohawk and has tattoos all over his arms and belly.

 

That's my brother. His name is well…Brother. He is the so-called leader of the Gullwings and it kinda gets to his head!!!!! He has a little bit of an obsession with Yuna, sick I know. But he is the one that I get all my anger out when I need to let off some steam, its lots of fun, heehee!!!!

 

“ How about this, I look at the comspheres first and right when I'm done, Yunie, you get the comsphere, sound good???”

 

“ I guess so.” Said Yuna.

 

“ Hey Rikku, why do you look at the comsphere all the time, I never see you talk to any one, all you do is look, what for????” asked Paine.

 

“ That's none of your business!!!!”

 

*Should I tell them that I'm actually looking for him, no I shouldn't, they will just laugh at me for saying that I'm looking for someone that isn't even here anymore, maybe I should just give up, but there is something inside me that tells me to keep trying, even though its an empty try. I just want to see him one more time and tell him how I truly feel, even if he doesn't feel the same for me*

 

“ Now let me see.”

 

* After about 5 minute of Rikku looking around Spira from the comsphere, she gives up and turns it off *

 

 

“ Here you go Yuna, the comsphere is all yours!!!!!”

 

“ Thanks Rikku, hey did you find what you where looking for???” asked Yuna.

 

“ No, the thing I'm looking for will never be found.”

 

“ What was that Rikku, you where mumbling.” Said Yuna.

 

“ Oh, nothing.”

 

“ Well ok then, good luck on your pen pal letter.” Said Yuna.

 

* Rikku left the bridge and goes into the cabin *

 

Well, now you know a little bit about my friends and me. I can't wait for you to write your letter so I can get to know you more!!!!
