Friends once Again

Cloud was flying in the Highwind thinking all about Tifa. He really loved her but she was not his for the taking. He noticed Cid walking around muttering about something. Cloud got up and went over. It seems that Cid was trying to figure out a way to get everyone back. Cloud sighed and looked at his Chocobo. Ryuami was in Class-S and was fit as a fiddle. The only strange part about him was that he had red and gray eyes.

"Cid, Where is everyone?' Cloud sat down again by his Chocobo.

"Yuffie is in Wutai still training. Barret is living in Kalm with his daughter Marlene. RedXIII is researching about the earth. Vincent is with Lucrecia. You know about Aeris."

"Yeah I know." Cloud started to shed tears. He moved on after her death eventually. "I wish I could see them again."

"Captain we are landing right outside of Mideel."

Cloud looked through the window and found Mideel all built again. The Lifestream incident was mind piercing to Cloud. He jumped out of the Highwind and went straight into town. He found the Master Materia shop and walked right in. He saw Tifa working with another guy and noticed that it was Vincent. "What the…" The whole team popped out of nowhere and surprised Cloud. Cloud almost fainted. "Well I see that everyone missed me."

"It is Great to see you again Cloud." Tifa pushed back her brown hair and walked to Cloud. Tifa hugged Cloud. Cloud was blushing until Tifa let go. "It seems that Cloud is happy to see at least Tifa." Vincent shook Cloud's hand and so did the others. "Hey, What's Up?" Cloud pulled out his Chocobo Rider ID. "I am a Great Chocobo Racer." "Well that's nice, Cloud, where are you going." Vincent shrugged his shoulders waiting for an answer. So Cloud explained about his predicament with Goblin Island. Most of them never saw a Black Chocobo. Cid came walking in and sat down. "I suggest you take 2 people with you like the good old days." Cloud turned and looked at everyone. Yuffie really caught his eye. She was all grown up. She also acted more mature. She had long black hair. Cloud looked around and decided on Vincent and RedXIII. Tifa walked into the back room and found 2x Cut, Hp Plus, Bahumut Zero, and others. She also had Vincent's Death Penalty (his strongest weapon) and RedXIII's Limited Moon. Cloud had his weapons and they ran to the Highwind. "Cloud we'll stay here and you take the Highwind." Cid yelled. Cloud, Vincent, and RedXIII were off.

"Hey where is Captain?" The pilot asked. He kept looking for Cid.

"I'm the Captain for now so get use to it." Cloud started to laugh to scare the Pilot to get a move on. They kept looking around for Goblin Island. They soon had no hope. Cloud knew a Chocobo when he saw one. "Hey over there, I see a Black Chocobo." Cloud noticed it had a red collar. "That has to be owned." The Highwind landed and the Chocobo racer jumped out. "Where is that bird?" Cloud search for the thing and found a black feather. He called Vincent and RedXIII out. They jumped out of the now landed Highwind. RedXIII caught a scent. "Goblins are ahead Cloud." The team took their weapons and started attacking the stampede. Cloud took his sword and used the Limit Break Meteorain at the Goblins. The creatures were gone and there was only smoke. "Well, Glad that's over." Cloud put away his sword and called the team to move on forward. Vincent was very confused about this whole matter. Why would goblins attack in perfect order? The Party arrived at a stream and rested for the night.

During the night Cloud and the others sat by a fire. "Cloud, about my son, Since Jenova is dead can he be revived and do good." Cloud was carving a statue with his sword. "Vincent, I am not so sure about son. I mean he could be good. But I don't think there is a way to revive him." Cloud sighed and stared at the moon. The meteor was gone. There was no real enjoyment anymore. "Red, how did Buhegenen die?" Cloud threw his sword down and stared at Nanaki. "I think it was because he taught everything to me. He thought he wasn't alive for a long time. He was just asking to die." RedXIII started to cry. "It is ok Red, You need to move on like Cloud with Aeris." Vincent forgot what that meant to Cloud. "I wish I could revive her." Cloud dropped his head below his shoulders.

The morning had arrived and it was a bright day…
