The battle is over,

My tears wept,

Across the globe the life stream swept,

And I can only stand here with this sword that killed my love.

Sacrifices must be made,

Upon the lake her body laid,

Higher prices can't be paid,

With this sword that killed my love.

And though the victory is won,

Our selfless deed, It has been done,

I feel me shoulders weigh a ton,

With this sword that killed my love.

Although they both were mortal,

Neither was suppose to die.

My own life seems like a lie,

because these swords have killed my love.
