Dragonblade:Special Edition

I guess you could say this is a real continuation of Cloud`s Quest.

Zack looked out the window from his little house in Kalm.He wandered why of all the places to live,he lived in Kalm.He sighed and headed for bed when his mother ,Aeris came in to kiss him goodnight."Mommy,why can`t I go on adventures like daddy did before I was born?"asked Zack."Adventures aren`t 100% exciting.Especially the ones when your life is taken like mine,for example,"Aeris warned."OK,mommy,"smiled Zack.

"Now,go to sleep,"said Aeris and she walked away and shut the door.

16 years before…..

Sephiroth had married a woman while he was summoning METEOR.No one knew.It was always a secret.They had a son named Sephiroth jr.Sephiroth went through another stage of anger and killed his wife.He went to kill jr. but the mother had hid him somewhere safe.

Presently…..

Jr.(now Sephiroth)was walking through the remains of the temple of the Ancients.

He chuckled and drew out his sword.He admired the dragon-like tecture and stabbed it into the ground.The entire temple was restored and Seph walked in and placed the sword at an alter and chanted a hymn. METEOR was restored.

Zack woke up and screamed."Kiddo,you alright?"asked his father,Cloud.He was sitting on his bed."Nothing…a dream about METEOR,"Zack said."Oh,METEOR is gone forever,"Cloud said."Now,get dressed.You gotta get ready for school."

Zack was getting his backpack packed for school.He ran out the door and saw a lot of people screaming in horror.Zack looked up in the sky and saw METEOR as red as a ruby."My dream…it was real,"Zack said to himself.Zack walked over to the edge of town to see is father fighting off fiends that entered the town.A sword appeared in Zack`s hand.

It had a dragon-like shape.Zack saw a tornberry attack his father."Zack,run!Head to the

Chocobo ranch on the double,"Cloud yelled.His mother ,with a spear drawn guided Zack out of the town.

They had gotten to the ranch."Zachary,go to Niblehiem.A man named Vincent is waiting for you,"said his mother."What about you,mommy?"Zack asked."I`ll catch up.I must help your father protect the people of Kalm,"said Aeris.She mounted her son on a chocobo and he rode off.

The chocobo stopped but didn`t run away when Zack stepped off."Why haven`t you run?We`re at Niblhiem,'said the boy.The chocobo chirped and rubbed his head against the boy."I`ll call you `Chica'," said Zack.Zack walked Chica into the town.

The boy saw the man Vincent that always visited Cloud outside the Shinra mantion.

Vincent and Zack were sitting in the mantion ."I have to tell you something,"said Vincent."The sword in your hand has supernatural powers,"said Vincent."Really?!"said Zack in surprise."Yes,it contains Sephiroth`s spirit."How?"asked Zack."When Sephiroth died his good,wise spirit entered the Dragonblade."It has to be placed in the alter at Shell City or the Forgotten City as they used to call it for METEOR to be destroyed,"Vincent said quietly."How`d I get it?"asked Zack."It appears that you're the weilder of it.As soon as whoever summoned METEOR summoned it, it appeared in your hands,so you could stop it"."Why give me a weapon that caused something?"Zack asked."Some questions cannot be answered ," Vincent sighed."But there are two weilders to the Dragonblade.The one besides you is the summoner of METEOR.There can only be one weilder to stop METEOR again,"Vincent added."So I basically have to kill the other weilder and head to Shell City,"said Zack."Yes,but first you have to find out who the weilder is,"said Vincent.

Zack exited the mantion and hopped on Chica and rode away from Niblehiem.

Elsewhere……

Sephiroth jr. was sitting in a trance.He had figured out the `other'weilder had been chosen.The fact that he was a kid made him laugh.He couldn`t believe he was gonna be up against a shrimp when his father had taken on Cloud Strife.Zachary Strife should be easy.

Zack was riding on Chica until he relized there was no where to go."How does Vincent expect me to fight this guy?"Zack asked Chica."And where to find him."

Zack rode back to Kalm to see what happened.He got off Chica and looked around the deserted town.He saw a figure running around.The 13-Year-old boy chased after it.Chica followed slowly.A ninja in pure black attacked Zack.Zack drew the Dragonblade and began to attack . The ninja ran to the side,it was way to fast.Zack swung his sword around like an idiot until the Ninja pinned him to the ground and knocked him out.

"Kid,are you okey?"said a voice."Who are you?"asked Zack gaining consiousness."I`m Yuffie…wait….are you Aeris` son?" she asked."And Cloud`s,"Zack said."I`ve got a 5-year-old back home in Wutai.Me and my friend,Cid,are using the HIGHWIND and we`re trying to find some way to stop METEOR again,"Yuffie said."So…wanna come with us?"she asked."Yeah,"Zack smiled."We`ll drop that chocobo off at the ranch.A chocobo is useless for transportation…we gotta airship!"Yuffie cheered"No,Chica is my special friend,"Zack said hugging Chica."Owning a chocobo costs a lot gil….wait!I`m a thief….let`s keep it,"Yuffie said happily.

They walked over to the HIGHWIND and Zack climbed on.They put Chica in the HIGHWIND stable.Zack entered the Bridge and he greeted Cid.He decided he could trust them and told them about his quest."Really?!I always thought that was a legend.So you can`t find the other weilder?I heard you have to follow a creature of pure magic.It`ll guide you,"Cid said."Yay!Cid talked!"cheered Yuffie."So what creature should I follow to find the other weilder?"asked Zack looking at his Dragonblade."No clue,just what legend says,"Cid sighed.

I kinda rushed the airship scene.Well,Cid hasn`t talked since Kingdom Hearts or Cloud`s Quest.He turned into a quiet type.Glad I covered that for you.
