Kalm- One year after WEAPON

Rufus Shinra opened his eyes and groaned. The early morning sun flooded the room threw the open curtains, the smell of the ocean breeze and the caws of the seagulls came in threw the open window. Rufus sighed trying to sit up, failing miserably. He slowly lay back on the bed looking up at the ceiling. He slowly brought his hand up and looked at it.

" I can't be alive…. I remember falling after Diamond WEAPON attacked Midgar." Rufus put his hand back down at his side. He winced trying to turn his head, he brought his hand to his neck and felt a neck brace around his neck. Rufus sighed and looked over at the door as good as he could. A girl with long black hair and violet eyes walked in. She walked past the bed and opened up larger curtains then a door. She turned and walked over to the nightstand. Rufus watched her and sighed.

"Miss…where am I?" The girl turned and looked at him and started screaming. Rufus winced and pushed him self up into a sitting position. He looked at her waiting for an answer.

"Your alive! But how? The doctor said you would probably be in that coma forever. And now you're awake!" Rufus looked at her and brushed his hair out of his face.

"Where am I?" Rufus asked again getting impatient with the teenager.

"The outskirts of Kalm…near the ocean." The girl sighed and stood up.

"How long was I in a coma?"

"About a year and 7 months…" Rufus nodded and swung his legs over the bed," You should rest…Or you will hurt yourself."

Rufus looked at her but didn't listen. He stood up and walked out of the room with the girl following him.

"Mr. Shinra…you shouldn't be walking…." The girl stated. Rufus walked into the kitchen. Seated at the table were the Turks, Heidgar and Scarlet. Scarlet glared at the girl then looked at Rufus.

"Me and Heidgar where so worried about you President…." Scarlet smiled at him and sat him next to her at the table then sat down next to him. Rufus scoffed and took her hand off his thigh.

" Keep your hands to your self Scarlet…" Rufus looked at them all.

"What do you mean We, Scarlet? You and Heidgar where just-ow!" Reno glared at Heidgar as he kicked him in the shin. The Turks shook their heads and started eating followed by Heidgar, Scarlet and Rufus.The girl sat down and started eating too. When everyone finished their breakfast Scarlet and Heidgar both stood up and thanked the old woman for breakfast. Both grabbed Rufus and walked to the door with the Turks following. The girl stood up showing the Turks to the door. Elena sighed and turned when she was outside.

"Thank you for watching Rufus Miss..?"

" Just call me Anjelia…" Anjelia smiled at Elena," It was nothing."

Elena nodded and walked off joining the rest. Anjelia closed the door and looked at her mom and raised an eyebrow.

"What?"

"Your going to miss him aren't you, Anjelia," The woman smiled a bit," I remember when Dr. Adonia brought him here. You took care of him never leaving his side. Making sure he was conformable, you didn't listen to me about how much I disapproved of it. When Adonia told you he might be in a coma, till he died you stayed in that room with him, crying."

Anjelia blushed a bit and shook her head, "Yes, I know. He might have been the President of a messed up company but that's not his fault."

Anjelia walked off going to her room. Her mother shook her head going to the kitchen.
