Chapter 2- It's All Been a Lie

~Tokiya in his house sitting alone in the dark~

The Ura Buto Sajin is already over. Yet I feel like I've lost everything. My reason for living has been a lie. I can't believe nee-chan's murderer was right under my nose from the moment she had died. He was the one who had taken care of me and had been almost like a father to me. Damn him…why! He screwed up my entire life, and for what? All for the sake of my fighting potential! That selfish bastard not only that, he had dragged in Kai and ruined his life also. A living hell that's what it is. I have struggled to and fro painfully looking for my beloved sister's killer only to find that it was all a lie…yes a lie that had caused her her death… Phone rings and Tokiya snaps out of his thoughts. Dammit who would call at this time of night. He picked up the phone to be met with a loud, annoying voice, which can only belong to Fuuko's.

Irritation was clearly shown on his pale face.

"Yo Mi-chan! I know this is not the most convenient time to call you, but I gotta ask you a huge favor. Right now I'm at Recca's house and you see Koganei just came back and well… Recca and Domon's voice could be heard fighting over the last piece of chip. hey will you guys shut up for a minute!" A deafening punch connected to Domon's jaw and sent him straight to the wall.

"I'm waiting," Tokiya warned trying his best to hold in his already boiling temper. Bakas, I don't have time for this. He hated to be held waiting especially when it wasted his precious time.

"Oh hehe gomen, um where was I again? Oh yeah Koganei's come back and he needs a place to live. You know Recca's house already has Kagero-san and I have Ganko and…we thought if…"

"No."

"Nani?"

"I said no. Or do I need to define the word 'no' for you?" He figured they were up to something, but this was ridiculous. It's not my problem they need a place for that little brat. I can't even stand to be around those idiots let alone have one of them live with me in MY house.

"Oh come on Mi-chan, don't be such an old grouch, I didn't even finish the sentence." She knew she was gonna have to think up of something soon before Mi-chan hangs up. "Miii-chaaan! (Fuuko using her whining voice) can't you at least give Koganei a chance? We both know that your house is perfectly large enough to squeeze in another person. Just do this for us cuz you know after all we're your buddies right?

"Sorry I don't recall a bunch of monkeys, my friends."

"NANI?!! How dare you call me a monkey!! I'm gonna blow yo…the phone was snatched out of her hands. hey give that back, I'm not done yet!" Yanagi receives the phone.

*sigh…How did I end up to be with such complete amateurs.

"Mikagami-senpai? Gomen-ne, Fuuko is uh not feeling well right now. We'll be taking Kaoru-kun to your house tomorrow morning, okay? Recca and Domon can be heard screaming of fright when they tried to calm Fuuko down, but instead was hit with a uncontrollable wind attack. Oh dear, gomen-nasai Mikagami-senpai I have to go help Recca-kun and Domon-kun…arigato!" She hangs up before Tokiya could say another word.

Tokiya runs his hand through his hair and sighs. Damn, something tells me that I'm going to regret this sooner or later. Even back into resuming our lives Hanabishi and the other idiots haven't changed a bit. I would think they'd mature a bit by now after that unforgettable event with Kurei and his Uruha, but I was wrong. That drooling sea monkey is all over his Hime like some lovesick puppy. I still don't see what Yanagi-san sees in that fool. Fuuko is beating Domon up on a daily basis, but Domon seems to realize that he merely mistook his love for her as admiration to her fighting skills. Hmph, it surprises me that he was actually able to get something through his thick head. A small smirk etched upon Tokiya's face. Kagero-san extremely grateful now to have found her long lost son is keeping a constant eye on him. Ganko and her stupid stuffed animal I believe is living with Fuuko. And Koganei I have not seen ever since the Ura Buto Sajin. That boy had surpassed my expectations of him. When we had that fight in Kurei's mansion I had somewhat underestimated him. And because of that he shortly earned my respect afterwards, though I hate to admit I respect the entire Hokage team after the fight with Kurei. Hmm…I wonder why that boy came back, actually what was his reason for leaving at all.
