Jean walked down the pathway, remembering everything so, when he back tracked, he would be able to get back to Mario.

While he looked for any sign of where they were, he remembered what happened right before he woke up to be under the older looking man.

//Flashback//
“Jean…” Mario reached down to his lower pocket, and pulled out a detonator.

Jean stared at the little remote in the injured man's hand, afraid of what would happen. What would happen if he were to die? DIDN'T HE JUST TELL THIS CRAZY LUNATIC THAT JEAN DOESN'T WANT TO DIE? Well, that's the price for being scum, right, Mario?

“Jean, let's discover love for ourselves,” Mario said, breaking Jean out of his thoughts.

What was the man thinking? What the hell was love? Well, whatever it was, it must've been important, for there was something in Mario's eyes that Jean couldn't place. Moving his hand, now covered in Mario's blood, Jean touched Mario's cheek, leaving traces of blood where his fingers were.

Something warm filled Jean, and he suddenly felt like he needed to be with him. He smirked. “Show me,” he said.

Without any other thought, Mario slightly pushed the button with his thumb, sending the two of them into a burst of light, and everything went dark.
//End Flashback//

Jean sighed. What was it in Mario's eyes that made Jean change his mind? Instead of “show me” he really wanted to yell in the bastard's face: “GET THE FUCK OFF ME YOU DIP SHIT!” Yeah, he could only imagine the look on Mario's face if he said that…

“Excuse me, sir?”

Jean jumped, and looked at who spoke to him. His hand for his gun, but he forgot that he left it with Mario. ~Crap, that was smart, Jean! You're supposed to be the best! ~

A girl, looking a few years younger than he, blinked at him, standing a few feet away from him. A young man accompanied her, and he surveyed Jean's clothes with distaste.

“What do you want?” Jean growled. They looked human enough. However, he was prepared to fight if needed.

The boy saw the gleam in Jean's eye, and immediately stepped closer to the girl, telling Jean that if he tried anything, that boy would stop him.

“You look lost, are you okay?” the girl asked him.

“Depends,” Jean snapped. “Where am I?”

The two blinked at him. “At Fuji Park.”

“Fuji Park…” It didn't sound familiar to him. “What year is this?” ~Oh great, air head, let them know you think like a crazy man. ~

Which is exactly what the two thought. The boy seemed to be getting uneasy by Jean's actions, and put an arm in front of the girl.

“I think we should go now, Honda-san,” the boy said.

“Wait!” Jean stopped them. If the girl was worried about him…maybe they might be able to help Mario - he was in even worse shape than Mario was. The two looked at him expectantly. “Jean needs help,” he said, silently cursing himself for being so week. “My friend is badly hurt.” He never thought he's use Mario in the same category as `friend'; then again, not many he knew would be willing to call themselves friends.

The girl gasped. “Is Jean okay?” she asked.

Jean blinked at her. “Doesn't Jean look okay? It's Mario who needs help!”

“Then who's Jean?”

“Me! I am Jean!”

The girl looked at the boy. “Sohma-kun, he and his friend need help. We should help them.”

“It's very late, Honda-san,” the boy said, glaring at Jean.

Jean sighed. If only he had his gun! He'd be able to threaten them to help him. However, he was the best; he had the best skills for anything! He was like the Ice Queen, that Lady Mir, or whatever. He could persuade them without his gun.

“I think he might be dieing…” Jean said, interrupting their argument.

The girl looked at the boy, pleading him. The boy sighed, and turned to Jean. “No tricks,” the boy said. Jean nodded. “Take us to your friend, and we'll take him to our home.”

Jean turned around. “Follow me. Jean knows the way.”
