EmeraldD: ok I was reading Sinnamonkat’s story “it was the best of rides it was the worst of rides” and I just had to write a Haru fic! Ok Sinnamonkat you are a good writer and I love that story! Who ever reads this story read hers after this one! It’s awesome! And her others must be too! Ok on with story!

Emerald Linkin was a normal looking girl on the outside, but she had a secret. Her and her family were all members of the American Zodiac. She was the Gemini Dragon. When hugged by a girl she would turn into an emerald green dragon with gold trimmings, nails whiskers, horns. She had the personality of the Gemini, but o the extreme. When happy it was overly, and anger that was explosive. There were more then 12 of them because they were a mix of the American *Cancer, Gemini, Leo, Aquarius Etc* along with the Eastern one with the Tiger, dragon, rabbit, boar.
Her and her mother, father and younger sister had just moved to Japan 4 months ago. She was in rolled in school and even had a crush already.
His name was Hatsuharu Sohma, and he was the ‘bad’ boy at the school. I could see through his play of featchers, and I knew he was hiding something. Him and his cousins, Kyo and Yuki.
I wanted to know what it was but I had seen some little first year knock Haru’s stuff out of his hands and Haru send him flying down the hall, so I wasn’t stupid enough to ask him or anything.
The same day I had the idea of asking him, he confronted me after school on my way home.
I hadn’t heard him, I was listing to music, when I was suddenly grabbed and pulled into the bushes.
“Why do you keep looking at me and my cousins like you wanna know something?” Haru said close to my face. He smelled better then I thought he would. I had never been close enough to smell him before. He smelled like Axe and sweet man sweat. I had never met a man that smelled this good.
“I don’t know what you mean?”
Haru took my arms and pushed me hard aganst the tree we were leaning agenst. This caused me to anger, and in a hurry! “You know damn well what I’m talking about!” he whispered through clenched jaws. “You always watch us and I want to know why!?”
I slipped down and out of his grasp and pinned him to the tree, not all to lightly. “You stupid fool! I know your hiding something! You all! I’m only courius! And so I watch! Waiting to see what it is! And maybe I like you!” with those last words I kissed him. It was a hard longing kiss and I don’t know why I did it. But he didn’t pull away. And when I did to get breath he said:
“I have been watching you too. I can tell as well that you hide something. And I, too, like you.” And with that he returned the kiss just as lustfully as I had made the first kiss.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him close. Not noticing him pause. Quickly I slid my tongue into his mouth and we started a duel. We both fought for dominance. And we ended up on the ground.

Why is that Emerald?”
I was amazed! He didn’t change cuse I can hug guys. Maybe it was cuse I'm a Zodiac member as well, just a different type.
Haru grabbed my face and raised it to meet his gaze.
“I'm waiting for an answer.”
“I'm cursed as well. Just by a different Zodiac. The American and the Chinese Zodiac’s curse my family. I'm the Gemini Dragon.”
I saw the surprise and wonder in his eyes at this information. He got up and leaned agenst the tree that the whole thing started at.
“This is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. I don’t have to be with a family member. I have you. Emerald this is the greatest thing to ever happen to me.”
I came closer and looked at him, my question written on my face, ‘what are you talking about?’
“I’m talking about us. We can be together and don’t have to worry about me changing! This is the best day ever!” and with that he grabbed me and pulled me into a loving hug and spun me around.
When he stopped I pulled back, still wrapped in his arms and rested my head on his, looking him in the eye.
“I love you Emerald.”
“I love you to Haru.”
“Will you marry me?”
