~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Hatori's house~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

 

As Shigure walked down a path to Hatori's house he saw something in Hatori's house. It looked like someone sitting next to someone else sleeping. `I wonder....' “Hello? Hatori, you home?” Shigure said as he knocked at the front door.

 

“Come in,” Shigure heard Hatori's voice coming towards him. “What are you here for is someone sick at your house, or something like that?” Hatori said as he straightened his tie. (Just thought that might be more of his characteristic.)

 

“No, no ones sick,” Shigure said as he stepped into the house with his shoes already off. “Uh, Hatori who's in that room? I thought, I saw someone sitting next to someone else from outside,” Shigure said as he started to walk towards the door.

 

“You don't need to go in there,” Hatori said with a rough tone and his arm straight out to the side, blocking Shigure's way.

 

“Oh, come on I won't tell,” Shigure said as he made his eyes all googly. “Please.”

 

“Fine, but she's still sleeping so don't be loud,” Hatori said as he slid the door open, reviling a sleeping Takuma and a worried Ayame next to her.

 

“Takuma, thank God your okay! We were all worried about you,” Shigure said as he ran to her side and looked over her injuries. He finally sat back and relaxed with a relieved smile on his face.

 

“Wait how do you know her?” Hatori said as he sat down next to Ayame, while facing Shigure straight on.

 

“Well, it all started two days ago. She was walking back from a movie with her friends and then she was in the path of a out of control car. Luckily Kyo was there and grabbed her by the waist, but he made sure far enough away so he wouldn't transform. When he got up she was already knocked out and the car was about to explode then he grabbed her again and ran, he got out of harms way but he was still pushed off his feet. He made her fall on him and then ran to an alley close by so he could watch her until he transformed back. When he transformed back no one came for her and she didn't have an ID on her and he couldn't just leave her so he brought her back to the house. The next morning she woke up and noticed that she was in someone else's house. So she tried to sneak out but she almost bumped into Yuki and we asked her some stuff and then I invited her to eat with us because her stomach was making sounds. (Oh, come on what would be the real reason he would ask a girl to eat with them? Duh! The perverted writer strikes again.) While we were waiting for breakfast I was talking with her and I asked her if she lived with family, she broke down crying. After a while she calmed down, and told me her story. She said that her father, mother, and herself were always being tortured by her other family members. Once she was going to stand up for them but her mother gave her a look like `I'll protect you'. Later her own family hired a hit man to kill the three of them. Her father was, soposingly, killed right in front of her. Then her mother told her to run as she closed Takuma outside and herself inside with the hit man. Her mother told her to keep living and to be strong. And when she had finished it was time to eat. Then she walked outside for fresh air after she had eaten. I told Yuki, Tohru, and Kyo about her life. Then we all decided that she would come to live with us. We went to get her stuff and then we ate. Then she was helping us onto a platform on the roof so that we could see the practice match that was going to take place soon. When she was taking Kyo to the platform, she missed it completely. So she pushed Kyo to us as we caught him we heard her yell and then she was gone. We looked all over for her. Lucky for us Tohru had saw a man with long silver hair and a red outfit jump up and grab Takuma and then she heard the transformation sound. So I figured that it was Ayame. And I came here at once.” Shigure said with the saddest expression on his face the whole time, while still staring at Takuma. When he looked up to see his friends reactions he wasn't very shocked to see the same sad faces as everyone else that had heard of the tradgec (SP) story.

 

“Wow, I can't believe she went though all of that,” Ayame said as a tear came to his eye. Hatori just sat there eyes locked on Takuma, as if if he stared long enough that he could see all her pain and then fight it all away.

 

“I know what you mean. It hit me deeply, too,” Shigure said as he clutched his fists. “Oh, come to think of it, I think a certain person can make her life allot better. Did you know that Takuma's had an eye on Kyo. I also believe that he too likes her. They've been holding hands alot lately. She looks so happy when she's with him. And his rude attitude just humors her. Do you think them two will make it?” Shigure said as he smiled nicely.

 

“What about Akido? Have you talked to him about all of this?” Hatori said as he finally took his eyes off Takuma.

 

“Well........no I haven't. None of us want her to leave either, we've grown very attached to her and besides Tohru's got a girl to talk to now,” Shigure said.

 

“I see, but right now she is injured and should stay here for about three more days,” Hatori said as he motioned to Ayame to get the bandages and pills.

 

“Uh........wow, it's bright out today isn't it?” I said as I started to wake up. I looked over to Hatori and smiled. He in return smiled back.

 

“How you feeling? Is there any other injuries that you've noticed?” Hatori said as Ayame came back with the stuff and started to pull the covers off.

 

“Ugh, I don't feel anymore pain, actually, I'm feeling allot better,” I said as I started to sit up, but very slowely. `This place is so nice and peaceful. Ah, Hatori has a very gentle and soothing touch. (And no she is not hitting on anyone here! Just so you know.) He never hurts me and when he gives me a shot I can never feel it. And Ayame is really nice, too. He made me laugh all morning.

 

“Hey, Takuma! I'm glad you're safe,” I turned and saw Shigure sitting there with the same little smile.

 

“Oh, Shigure! I didn't know you knew where I was. I was going to te...uh,” I shot up the rest of the way to a sitting position and was now in allot of pain.

 

“I told you before to settle down otherwise your really going to hurt yourself,” Hatori said while handing me the same pills as before and a cup of water. “Now just lay down and relax.”

 

“O-ok.....Thanks Hatori. And Ayame thanks for looking after me. Oh, who's the one that did the cooking?” I said as my mouth started watering, after I had already took the pills and slowely laid myself down.

 

“Oh, wasn't it so good? Hatori is a great cook don't you think so?” Ayame said as he got closer to me so I could see his face. (Finally, I got a Ayame moment in there.)

 

“Heh, heh, Ayame you should see your face. *Now laughing really hard* Oh yeah, Ayame another thing, Thanks so much for saving me,” I slowly sat up so Hatori wouldn't say anything. He just watched me closely. Then I slowly got to a stand. “Um, Hatori?”

 

“Yes?” he said as he watched me ready to catch me if I started to fall.

 

“Where is the bathroom?” I said with a pinkish tint to my cheeks.

 

“Here let me help you. It's farther down the hall than you think,” Hatori quickly got to a stand and held my arm just in case. “And when you're out do you want some food, too?” he said as we walked out of the room and down the hall, leaving Ayame and Shigure in the previous room we were just in.

 

“Um, if you don't mind. You cook really good, do you know that?” I said with an even pinker shad on my face.

 

“Yeah, I've heard it before, but not from someone that was embarrassed about it. Heh,” `Hatori you're so nice almost just like my father.'

 

“You know who you remind me of, Hatori?” I said as I looked to see who he'd say.

 

“I don't know, who?” Hatori said obviously stunned that he of all people to remind me of someone.

 

“Well, you remind me alot of...............my father. He was the one that helped me with alot of stuff. He took care of me when I was hurt and when mom wasn't home he always cooked me something really tasty,” I said as I held his arm.

 

“I'm glad that I could help. Here's the bathroom, I can trust you not to run off?” he said that in an sarcastic way.

 

“No, I won't run. And besides why would I want to run away from a father figure like you?” he turned around before I could see his face. “*sigh* I guess I can't win,” I said as I started into the bathroom.

 

Before I could close the door, he said, “You've won alright,” I looked at his face it looked like it was going to start crying for joy. “I'll be in the kitchen when your done.”

 

“Okay,” I finally went into the bathroom and closed the door behind me.

“So what do you think of her?” Shigure said as he looked down the hall watching for when she was going to come out.

 

“I don't know but she said that I'm just like her father right before she went into the bathroom. I saw the pain on her face when she said that but there was happiness at the same time. It made me feel sad,” Hatori said while stirring the soup.

 

“She did, did she?” Shigure said looking down at his hands now. “Do you think she'll.......be able to live with us?”

 

“I don't know but what will you do if she finds out about us and she freaks, she'll have to start all over again. What are you going to do then?” Hatori said while turning around to see him.

 

“Hm, I don't think she'll freak. She's seen more unusual stuff than a family that changes into an animal of the Zodiac. And Tohru can help her, too,” Shigure had a weirder grin on his face than normal.

 

“What's that grin for? You better not be thinking of raping her,” Shigure narrowed his eyes at that comment.

 

“No I'm not, I just thought of something,” Shigure moved into a thinking position. “Remember that I told you about her family not liking her dad, mom, and herself?”

 

“Yeah, what of it?” Hatori said as he put the soup into a bowl.

 

“Well, what if she were to become a family member of ours,” Shigure had made his point clearly to Hatori, now.

 

“I see,” Hatori said as he rubbed his chin. "Maybe it will come so."

 

~~~~~~~~~~~Takuma coming out of the bathroom~~~~~~~~~~~~~

 

`I don't get it.....why did he look so sad when I said he reminded me of my father.' I was really trying to figure it all out. Then I closed my eyes, `He really is like my father. I hope he can be there for me like my father. And it's so funny when Hatori trying to hide his soft side with his cold face. Something must have happened to get him like that. Maybe, I'll find out sometime soon.' As I started to walk out of the bathroom I saw a shadow.

I cautiously opened the door ready to fight if need be. I heard the person pacing the floor. “Who's out there?” I said in the coldest voice I have ever had and then my face started to get tight with anger pulling it.

 

“Heh, so you have finally come out of there. Well, come on lets go,” `Is this the same guy that was hired to kill us from before?'

 

“Yeah, and what of it? Who are you?” I said as my voice grew colder and angrier.

 

“Oh, is that how you greet someone that is going to help you see your parents again,” `That bastard! He'll never take me, I've trained for this day so that I could avenge my parents and show my family that I am not a push over!' I growled low in my throught. “Oh, feisty....I'm going to enjoy every second of this. *Laughing evily*”

 

“Like hell, your going to get me!” I quickly jumped out from behind the bathroom door and ran to get out on this area of houses. `I might be injured but I have to be strong, and I must get out of this area before we damage anything.' I said while sprinting to the wall around the estate. I jumped up and cleared the wall and landed, recovering I continued to run further away. “Come on can't you keep up with a girl?” I said while looking back. “AHHH, THATS NOT FAIR!”

 

“All's fair in love and war my pretty lady,” the guy said cockily from his car.

 

“What the Hell!?” I said as he started to catch up with me. He pulled out a gun and aimed for me. “Gah, you bastard that fucking hurt!” I said as a pullet grazed by my shoulder, but not enough to make it bleed.

 

“Like I said.......”

 

“Ah, shut up! I already heard that once,” I said as I continued to run. Then I quickly stopped and turned into a busy street. The car quickly came to a halt and he got up and tried to shoot me again. This time I was ready and I was not going to be caught off guard. I ran though the street, easily dodging the cars and bullets when I jumped up. “Your losing your aim mister hit man,” I said as I ran into a near tree line.

 

“Yeah, yeah. Wait until I catch you then you'll be begging for your life,” he said as he ran through the traffic almost getting hit four times. `How the hell did she do this so easily? And she dodged my bullets to add onto that. Damnit she's making me look bad.'

 

I kept running until I made it to a familiar house. `Uh-oh, this is bad I didn't mean to come here I was going where there was a dense forest. Shit!'

Author's Notes: I'm really sorry it took so long to update but I've been so busy with training horses, practicing for tennis, and everything else that could posibly pop up. Well, nothing happened but something really funny and embarrasing happened. Well, we went camping for my mom's birthday and well my brother(freshman in colledge) brought two other friends with him, Nick S. (Have a major crush on.)(freshman in colledge) and a girl Alicia ?(freshman in colledge), and his boat and so they were almost ready to leave when my brother invited me (freshman in highschool). I quickly got into my bikini (Blue and white with palm trees, and glitter. Really cute.) and came out and took my seat on the boat. Then a second later Nick S. turns around and he's like "Whoa!" and then he looked me up and down, well in a seat I guess, then he said, "Who are you?" then he looked at my face and he's like, "Holy Shit!" and then turns around. My brother and Alicia saw it too. I was so embarrased. I bet he was even more embarrased. Ok, I'm going to go so.........Bye!
