The birds chirped from outside, low whispers were coming from behind the slide door; they were talking about me again. A low crash silenced everything coming from outside, a loud yell cut through the silence.

“DON'T CALL ME STUPID!”

I rolled on my back and stared at the ceiling for a while, everything was starting to spin around me; my head was pounding loudly against my eardrums. Sitting up, I placed my hand on my head and glanced around looking to the tray that was left here in the morning. It was nowhere in sight, but I did find a new tray with warm food on the coffee table. Another yell came from outside.

“I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME STUPID, RAT BOY!”

The door slid open and in walked in Kureno with a drink in his hand; I managed to glance behind him and saw Hatsuharu, Momiji and three other people. Kureno left the door opened, he caught me looking out, and handed me the drink, “Drink this, Hatori said it'll give you your energy back.”

“Thanks,” I whispered hoarsly, taking the drink into my hands and gulping down the drink. I held back the urge to get the drink out of my mouth, it tasted disgusting but medicine isn't supposed to taste good now is it.

I looked back out towards were Haru, Momiji and the others were; the girl was looking straight at me. I moved the drink from my face and forced a weak smile on; she smiled sweetly back. The girl wasn't a Sohma, she didn't have that look we all had…then what was she doing here, at the Sohma Main House?

“Who are they?”

Kureno looked behind him and stood next to me, “Yuki, the one with the silver-ish hair, and Kyo, the one with the orange hair, are Sohma animals. The Rat, Yuki, and The Cat, Kyo. The girl, Tohru, is a human who found out about our secret. Akito doesn't like her.”

“No surprise there,” I spat moving my eyes towards Momiji. He seemed extremely happy around Tohru; I felt a tingle of jealousy run down my spine for some strange reason. I ignored the feeling and felt eyes on me. I looked back over at the other three and saw them staring at me.

Kureno moved in front of me and closed the door, “Reiko, you should eat. I brought you warm food since the last tray was cold. Akito should be back soon, he's still with Hatori.”

I removed my eyes from the door and nodded at Kurone, “Alright.”

He waited for me to move towards the tray until he reopened the door and left.

Kureno left the room Yukie, Tohru and me were staring at; the girl in the room looked sickly pale and depressed about something. As soon as Kureno was out o sight, I heard Tohru ask Haru a question.

“Who was that girl?”

Haru didn't answe, but Momiji chimed right in. “That's Reiko-chan, she moved here about a month ago! She's really nice, but she isn't allowed out of her room a lot…Akito keeps her in her room all the time. But Kisa, Hiro and me play with her something only when Akito is there to watch though.”

Everyone was silent; a door slid open.

“KYO-KUN! You came to visit me!”

I shuttered and cursed under my breath, `Why'd we have to come here!'

[Yuki]

I looked back at the door and felt a wave of pity wash over me; she was Akito's new prisoner. No wonder she looked so pale and sickly thin; Kureno must be taking care of her while Akito is out. Kureno returned from where ever he went and looked at me, then walked into the room, leaving the door open.

[Reiko]

Kureno returned and looked at me, “Akito told me to introduce you to Yuki and Kyo.”

I gave him a half-shocked/half-confused look and stood up, “You must have spoken to the wrong Akito, he told you that I could go outside…like as in feel the air on my skin and feel the ground under my feet again?”

Kureno nodded.

I followed behind Kureno, the light hit my eyes blinding me for the longest time I've ever felt making me have to grab the back of Kureno's clothing so I wouldn't loose my balance. He stopped and I stopped right behind him. He moved to the right and put his hand behind my back and pushed me forward. “Yuki, Kyo…Akito ordered me to introduce you to a new Sohma member, she came from the Far East.”

I kept my eyes down, the sun was still hurting my eyes, but I could feel their eyes on me. Momiji grabbed my hand and looked up at me. “Are you ok, Reiko-chan?”

“Yeah, it's just the sun.” I mumbled picking my head up slightly, smiling at the innocent bunny. I looked at Yuki and Kyo, “Nice to meet you two.”

There was no response, just their eyes staring at me; Hatsuharu slightly nudged Yuki. Yuki cleared his throat and gave Kyo a look, “Nice to meet you also, Reiko.”

Kureno motioned towards the girl, “This is Tohru Honda.”

I nodded me head and received another sweet smile from the girl. I felt a chilling shiver run down my spine and knew it was because Akito was near. “You should leave, it was very nice to meet you all.”

Kyo have me a glare and Tohru's face seemed to have dropped; I looked over at Hatsuharu and Kureno, gave them a look and they seemed to have understand what I was trying to say. Hatsuharu hooked his arm with Yuki's, “Let's go, I'm starving…”

Momiji stayed behind with Kurone and me; we watched as Tohru, Kyo, Hatsuharu and Yuki left the main house. Once they were out of site, Akito appeared out of what seemed like the shadows and stared at me with those cold eyes. Momiji moved closer towards me; Kureno inched in front of me and stared at Akito.

“Did you meet your cousins?” Akito asked, his cold voice sent shivers down Momiji's and my spine. I nodded and watched Akito's every move. Akito looked at Momiji and then back at me, “Alright, time to get back into the room.”

Momiji grabbed my hand, “Can I play with Reiko, Akito?”

Akito glared down at the bunny; I kneeled down next to him and hugged him, whispering, “We'll play later, I promise. Go help Hatori.”

Momiji looked at me, but eventually nodded. Kureno took him to Hatori; Akito moved behind me and wrapped his arm loosely around my waist. “Don't get to use to being out of that room, Reiko. You'll be spending more time in there since you stopped eating again and made me worry about your health.”

“Really, I would have never noticed.” I hissed pulling myself from his grasp and went back into the room. Akito glared at me and followed right behind, closing the door on his way in. I crawled into the bed and pulled the covers over my head, I didn't want to mess with Akito. I was having a good afternoon until he had to return from his doctor appointment. I glared at the darkness as I felt Akito lay next to me; his arm wrapped around my waist and pulled me closer towards him. He took of the cover from my head and forced me to look at him.

“You're acting like a bad girl…” Akito warned me.

I felt my body grow warm, as I forced myself to calm down; Akito stared into my eyes making me nervous and uneasy. “I'm sorry.” I muttered under my breath looking away from his eyes. I closed my eyes and buried my face into my pillow; I want to disappear for way from here…anywhere away from this evil man that's kept me locked up in this hellhole. I forced myself to ignore Akito's roaming hands; I managed to bring darkness around myself and allowed Akito to do as he wished. I didn't care about anything right now; I just wanted to disappear, far, far away…
