*Black eyes, I don't need 'em
Blue tears, gimme freedom

Positively never goin' back
I won't live where things are so out of whack
No more rollin' with the punches
No more usin' or abusin'*

His orange hair made him stand out in the night. His crimson colored eyes
looked from place to place making sure no one was following him. Kyou
was leaving Shigure's house for good. He was getting sick of fighting with
Yuki over Tohru. He was getting abused by all the fighting and he was
terribly sick of it. He was getting bruises all over his body. It hurt like crazy
for him.

Kyou looked up at the bright crescent moon that was high up in the dark
sky above him. The moon emited a soft light that led the way to Kazuma's
cabin up in the mountains. He was going back to his guardian, Kazuma.
It was as if Kazuma was the only person he knew that really understood him.
He didn't abuse Kyou like Yuki. He didn't use him like some people he knew.

*I'd rather die standing
Then live on my knees
Begging please -- no more

Black eyes -- I don't need 'em
Blue tears -- gimme freedom
Black eyes -- all behind me
Blue tears'll never find me now*

Kyou looked back down to his white shoes that were now covered in dirt and
mud. He left because he didn't want to fight Yuki anymore. He didn't want
to lose against him anymore. He felt like a failure and a loser, big time. He loved
Tohru with all his heart and he didn't want to know who she loved more. He
knew she'd pick Yuki for he was the better man.

He'd rather die knowing Tohru was with Yuki then having to live with Tohru
being with him. He knew she felt sorry for him. Tohru didn't love Kyou as
the way he wanted her to love him. Tohru loved Kyou as a friend. Not a lover.
Kyou wanted freedom from all this. 'It's all behind me,' He thinks. They'll
never find me now.

*Definitely found my self-esteem
Finally -- I'm forever free to dream
No more cryin' in the corner
No excuses -- no more bruises*

Kyou looks at where he was going so that he wouldn't get lost. He finally
found his own self-esteem and he was now going to be finally happy. 'I can
finally be free to dream what I want,' was his thoughts.

Kyou doesn't have to cry anymore in the corner when Tohru's with Yuki.
'I won't have to make up excuses for losing to that kuso nezumi anymore,'
Kyou would think. No more bruises for Kyou. No more.

*I'd rather die standing
Then live on my knees
Begging please -- no more

Black eyes -- I don't need 'em
Blue tears -- gimme freedom
Black eyes -- all behind me
Blue tears'll never find me now

I'd rather die standing
Then live on my knees
Begging please . . . *

Kyou would never give up on the ones he loved. He'd always keep trying no
matter how hard it took him to reach. He'd always reach his goal. His goal
now, was to get stronger at his guardian's house. Then he'd show that
kuso nezumi who's the strongest.

He won't cry when he finds out that Yuki won or if they find where he is. He's
know forever strong. Not in his skills but in his heart. Kyou will always be strong.

*Black eyes -- I don't need 'em
Blue tears -- gimme freedom

Blue tears'll never find me now

It's all behind me, they'll never find me now

Find your self-esteem and be forever free to dream*

Kyou slid open the door to Kazuma's dojo and stepped in. He removed his
shoes and coat and walked in. "Kazuma.." He said as he saw his guardian
waiting for him.

"I'm here forever.. and ever," Kyou said as Tohru's voice went around and
around in his head. "That girl doesn't affect me anymore."
