Chapter 1

 

“Tohru!” Momiji looked around for her in the summer home. A bandage covered his left cheek, a hidden pain from Akito hidden underneath. He held a peach-colored suitcase with a rabbit on it.

He entered Tohru's room, watching her packing her clothes into her suitcase. Kisa sat on the other side of the bed with Hiro, who were doing the same thing. Kisa was just packing her stuffed tiger when Momiji entered.

“Hey, Momiji…” Kisa said with her shy voice. Tohru turned.

“Momiji! Are you ready?” She asked.

“Yes!” He replied, energetically. Tohru felt sad because of the bandage on his face. It made her think she didn't get to him in time, making it all her fault.

`Akito is such a horrible man!' She thought, `I don't think he's God! He's more like the devil!'

“Honda-san?” Hatori said, coming into the room. Tohru snapped out of her trance, shaking her head then looking at him.

“No, no! I'm fine!” She said.

“Do you need help with your bags?”

“No! I carried them here so I can carry them back.”

“Alright…” Hatori exited the room.

Tohru got all her bags around and said, “Well, let's go home!”
