The graduation didn't take very long. Yuki and Kyou were going to go out with Tohru, Uo, and Hana to celebrate, but they knew they had to go see Akito. It couldn't be held off any longer.
Yuki and Kyou sat calmly in front of Akito. Hoping, praying that he wouldn't lock Kyou up. Akito was silent. His eye's seemed to be starring past the two boy's, onto an unknown space behind them.
But, Akito said nothing, he just sat calmly in front of them, a smile upon his face. Yet, not the type of smile they wanted to see. It was like the calm before the storm. They knew something was coming.
"So the day has finally come, the day that disgusting cat get's locked up." Akito said as he pointed at Kyou. Yuki felt as though his world were coming to an end. He loved Kyou, with all his heart. He wanted to cry, did the family head really want him to be so miserable?
"Did you two think you'd be let off without being punished for your relationship?" Akito asked, directing his anger at the two teens.
Yuki continued starring at the floor. Punishment?
"Kyou, I've decided, not to lock you up." For a moment, a brief moment, the light in the two teens eyes flared. Did they mean they'd be able to stay together?
But that moment was ruined when Akito began speaking again.
"No, your punishment is much worse," He looked at them. "Although, I think it'll hurt my dear Yuki more," he starred at Yuki, smiling, "Much more.:
Yuki looked up at him. What did that mean?
"Yes Yuki. This'll be much worse for you." Akito motioned his hand, and Hatori walked into the room. The man looked, sad and bewildered for some reason.
"Hatori, erase that cat's memories. Make him forget everything he and Yuki had together...Make him forget everything so that he hates Yuki again."
"NO!" Kyou yelled. Yuki almost fainted. He was at a lose for words. Akito wouldn't, he couldn't! He saw how much Hatori suffered. But, Kana was gone. Hatori didn't have to see her anymore, which would've made the pain a lot worse. But now, now Akito was making Kyou stay, and making him only remember his hate for Yuki.
"Why the hell would you do that! Don't take my memories away! You bastard! No!" Kyou yelled as he was pulled away by Kagura and Black Haru. Kyou struggled in vain. He wasn't able to get away.
"Let me go!" Kyou yelled at Haru and Kagura. Hatori followed them out of the room, starring at the floor the entire time. He hated this, he hated having to erase memoires. He knew it would hurt Yuki...But there was nothing he could do to go against Akito.
"No! Akito, please don't!" Yuki yelled, finding his voice. He jumped up towards Kyou but was stopped by Akito, whom held him against his body, enabling his escape.
"No! Let me go!" Yuki struggled as Hatori opened the door to another room.
Both boys reached their hands out towards eachother.
"Kyou..." Yuki whimpered.
"Yuki, I'm sorry. Just, just don't forget everything that happened between us. I love you, and I always will." Hatori closed the door and Yuki went numb in Akito's arms, breaking down in tears.
"Stop crying! You'll still be living with him, although, I doubt having him try to beat you everyday will be good enough. If it becomes /to/ painful, you know where I'll be." Akito said before letting go of Yuki, letting him fall to the floor.
"Kyou...Kyou..." He whimpered.
He promised everything would be ok..
He promised..
He promised!
He...
Promised..
HE PROMISED!
Next day
Yuki rubbed his eyes and made his way to the kitchen, greeted by Tohru.
"Ohayo Yuki-kun!"
Yuki looked at Tohru, too depressd to say anything, instead he made his way over to the table and sat down. Kyou walked in, and Yuki immediatly looked at him, pain obvious in his eyes. Kyou... "What the hell are you starring at kuso nezumi!?" Kyou yelled, anger in his voice. That glare, that hateful glare returned to his eyes. It shined, as if taping into Yuki's soul. All the love that was once in those eyes was all gone. They were full of hatred again.
"Stop starring at me before I kick your ass! Damnit, you're so annoying!" Kyou sat down as far from Yuki as possible.
Yuki whimpered and began to shake. He struggled to surpress the tears that were about to fall from his eyes. He laid his head down on the table, between his arms. He couldn't take it!
Everything, every single thing they've been through was erased from his memories. All the precious things they had together, their love, the time they made love, the struggle they had for their relationship.
Kyou forgot it all.
He hated Yuki once again...
Life can be wonderful and happy,
And life can be sad,
Let this be a lesson to you,
Real life doesn't always have a happy ending.
But dear readers, remember this,
Memories may fade.
But feelings never die.
Cries like crazy That was so hard to write! And I cried while writing it, while I was in school by the way. Ppl were starring at me 0o Lol. I actually wrote this quite early. Before I finished the lemon chapter.
Anyway, there WILL be a sequel, and I think everyone will be quite pleased with it .
And yes, Akito is a woman. There are no rumors. He's officially a woman. Some people may not know yet, because it's in the later chapters of the manga. So I don't want to anyone to complain, saying I'm a liar or anything. And if you don't believe me...check out some other fics, and the internet.
Anyway, he is a woman, but I'm going to have the sequal be an AU, so I can keep Akito as a guy.
