Fruits Basket Fan Fiction ❯ Dreams ❯ Prelude To A Dream ( Chapter 1 )

A/N: Hi! This is my 1st fan fic ever so please R/R. Constructive criticism welcome, but please be nice. Rated NC-17 for future Lemon content. This takes place on the episode of Momiji and Haru's first day at their High School.

As Tohru was preparing for bed, she thought about everything that had happened today.

She was glad that Momiji and Hatsuharu were now going to school with Yuki, Kyou, and herself. Maybe during the next couple of years, she would be able to learn more about them and the rest of the Sohma Clan.

It had been an all around eventful day. Meeting Akito… She still wasn't sure what to make of his appearance at school today and decided to think about it some other time, when she wasn't feeling so confused and restless.

She was glad that she'd been able to take some of the fear that Akito's presence had put into Yuki's eyes.

She also thought about when Haru had turned Black and nearly beat the President of the Student Council to a bloody pulp.

`I did try to get him to stop yelling at Momiji regarding his choice of uniform,' she thought to herself with a small sigh, as she slid under her sheets.

`When Haru turned Black and came to Momiji's defense, though… I know that I shouldn't be thinking this way, for it is unkind… I wanted to cheer Haru on. I can't believe the President could be so pompous. I know that if Yuki accepts the nomination and becomes President of the Student Council, he'll be more tolerant of similar situations.

Her mind turned to the thoughts she'd been shying away from, as she started drifting off to sleep.

*****Flashback***** Earlier That Day *****

**** "Um… Haru… how exactly did you convince the President that your hair is naturally black and white…?" Tohru asked innocently.

Black Haru backed her against a wall, pressing his body intimately close to hers, without touching, cupped her face seductively with his left hand, and stated wickedly "Why don't we go somewhere and I'll show you." His words, spoken in that deeply sexy tone, sent unfamiliar sensations coursing through her body, leaving her confused, and somewhat excited. ****
