[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
Kuu: Wow. I got some pretty good reviews for this, so I've decided that I'll update it for you all. Afterwards I'll be working on chapter 13, since I don't do anything on labor day I'm hoping I'll get them both updated in the same day, that would absolutely wonderful! And I've decided i want to try something new for the reviews, instead of answering each review indivisually, I'm gonna answer them all in one paragraph. If it confuses anyone then uh, just tell me. I think it would be simpler since alot of the reviews said the same thing. So here it is::

Lol, I'm glad to know alot of you like the angst even though you say you don't, there will probably be a bit of angst in this chapter, but after that I have no idea, I just couldn't think of anything else to help get Kyo and Haru together ya know? And a wonderful author/friend of mine gave me the idea. She's my hero, lol. Those of you who are wondering if I like making Yuki OOC, yes, I do. Because that way I can be mean and punish him since I don't like him all that much. EHEHE. Rofl, and those of you who are worried about me mixing Fading memories with this one, it won't happen, since I'm not even sure what I'm doing after this. AND IF YOU HAVENT READ THE NEWEST CHAPTER OF FADING MEMORIES YOU BETTER GO NOW! -glares- But thankies for all the reviews, if I missed somethin' please do tell me in your next review!

Now if everyone prefers me answering their reviews indivisually, tell me when you review this chapter.

WARNINGS: Language and Violence and other stuff that I'm not sure about yet. There is OOC-ness!!

...Chapter 2...

Haru groaned and buried his head under his blankets in a vain attempt to drown out the incessant beeping of his alarm clock. He reached out and blinding felt around for the object on his in-table, and brought his fist down on it, hard, hoping it would shut it up. Fortunatley for him, the obnoxious beeping siezed and he was left with blissful silence. This is how he would like to spend his day, laying in his warm bed in comfortable silence. It was at times like this that he felt the most at peace with himself.

But, of course, his peaceful illusion was shattered when his door practically flew off it's hinges.

"Haru wake up! We're gonna be late for school and you haven't even eaten breakfast yet!" Came the cheerful voice. Haru did his best to ignore his cousin and go back to sleep, but he must have predicted this because after a few moments of silence something heavy landed on him, effectively waking him up completely.

"Get off." He demanded, obviously annoyed. Momiji gave him one of his large, innocent smiles before jumping off the bed and waiting patiently for the ox to get up. Sitting up, Haru ignored the rabbit and sat there for a few moments, staring at the mattress. He really didn't feel like getting out of bed today..But the downside of living with a doctor, you didn't really get to play sick. He groggily ran a hand through his hair and moved to get off the bed.

"Come onnn!" Momiji whined impatiently. "The foods gonna get cold if you keep being such a slow poke!"

Haru snorted and walked across the room to his closet for clothes. "I'm not hungry." He stated boredly, taking out one of his school uniforms. Momiji arched a brow at the placid teen.

"You've been saying that alot lately, are you sick or somethin'?" He asked.

"Nope." He told him before turning and walking back to his bed.

"Well you've been acting wierd lately, are you alright?"

"I haven't been acting wierd, I've been acting myself." Haru told him, rolling his eyes. "Why don't you get out so I can get dressed?"

"Uh, alright! I'll see you in a few." He told him before skipping out of the room.

Once he was out of sight, he slowed down to a walk.

He'd always thought he was pretty good at reading people, not in a bad way, but he was just able to see through their mask and know how they really were. Either Haru was indeed acting 'wierd' as he'd put it before..Or..Haru was even better at hiding it then people gave him credit for. Haru was always laid back, but it was never to a point where he just seemed like he didn't care about anything. Then again, he might just be reading into it a little too much..

"Momiji, wait up!"

The rabbit paused and looked over his shoulder to see a now fully clothes Haru walking toward him. He stopped and waited for the ox to catch up before continuing his way down the hall.

"Yeah, sorry about being rude back there, I tend me be kinda groggy when I'm half asleep." The cow apologized with a sheepish grin. Momiji eyes the taller teen suspiciously for a moment. Was what he was saying the truth, or was it just another type of act made to trick everyone around him? He couldn't tell.

"It's okay, I probably shouldn't have jumped on you anyway." The blonde laughed cheerfully. "You ready to go?"

"Yeah, I just gotta get my books." He said with a yawn.

Another day at school, he was leaping for joy.

Yuki drowzily stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist. He padded over to the mirror and wiped it off with his hands. Once he was able to see himself clearly in the mirror, he leaned closer so he could inspect his face, which was still sore. He slowly brought his fingers up to poke softly at the purple-ish bruise forming on his face and winced.

Kyo had hit him pretty hard yesterday, and out of nowhere too. He hadn't even had time to defend himself, and just as soon as the cat had come, he'd left, claiming he was a bastard. That didn't really explain anything to him.

Yuki glared at his reflection for a moment before turning to go get dressed. Today was turning out terrible already.

"Oh, Yuki. That's quite a shiner you got there! How'de you manage that?" Shigure cooed from his spot at the table. Yuki glared at him and took his seat, Shigure was not the first thing he'd wanted to run into this morning.

"Shutup." He muttered.

"Awww, come on, don't be like that." The dog pouted, giving the rat his best puppy eyes.

"Hah. Princess Yuki is just mad because I got a mark on his pretty face." Kyo laughed from his seat at the table. Shigure gave the cat a surprised look.

"Oh really? That's a first." The inu mused.

Kyo shrugged. "He had it comin'." He stated boredly.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Yuki growled, his glare snapping in the neko's direction.

Kyo blinked innocently at the rat. "Oh..You mean you didn't know?" Yuki just continued to glare at him. Kyo sighed and set his bowl down.

"Maybe if you weren't so busy with yourself, you'de know. People have these things that you're oblivious to, they're called feelings..You should learn how to notice 'em sometime." He explained, his voice laced with annoyance.

Yuki snorted. "What, so this is about you now? Did I hurt your poor feelings?"

Kyo scowled at the rat. "You really are dense, aren't you? Unlike you, I occasionally think of others before myself!" Kyo snarled. "You're so selfish. Just do me a favor and stop talking unless you want want another mar on that girly face of yours." He spat, getting up from his spot at the table. "Hell, I'm surprised anyone would waste as much time on you as he did." He practically muttered under his breath.

Shigure sat quietly, as to not interrupt the cat's little monologue. He was actually kind of surprised that the cat was lecturing Yuki, of all people, instead of carelessly engaging a fight.

Yuki jumped up from the table with a scowl. "Wait! What the hell are you talking about? Tell me. If it's not about me, and it's not about you, then who?" He exclaimed at the redheads back. Kyo looked back at the rat, his eyes slitted in anger. After all he's said, Yuki still has the nerve to demand him to elaborate further?

"If you can't see it, even now, then you're more of an idiot then I would have thought." He said in a low voice. "I really do hate you, Yuki." He said as he walked out of the room. Yuki glared, but said nothing as he plopped back down into his seat. He wanted nothing more then to punch that stupid cats lights out, and he would as soon as he was close enough. He could probably get him at school since Kyo always tended to try to start fights during class.

That baka neko didn't even know what he was talking about..

Haru yawned and set his pen down on the desk. He was supposed to be taking notes, but this class was so boring he couldn't bring himself to pay attention. Besides, why should he take notes if he was probably just gonna lose em in the first place? He could pass his classes just fine anyway. He may get lost alot, but unlike what everyone thought, he wasn't that stupid. He just had an extra bad sense of direction. It wasn't like he was gonna attempt to prove it to anyone though.

He began tapping his pen on the desk impatiently. School was half way over, and he couldn't wait to get out of there. He didn't really like being closed up in tiny rooms full of people, maybe if they made the rooms a little bigger he wouldn't feel so crammed. He wasn't really claustrophobic, he just didn't like the closed proximity.

"Mr.Sohma, since you seem to know everything, would you like to solve this equation for the class?" Came the teachers voice from the board. Distracted from his thoughts, Haru glanced up at the board. It was a simple quadratic equation, anyone could do that.

"Uhhh.." He drawled boredly, scratching the back of his head.

"Then I suggest you pay attention." She admonished, turning to solve the problem. Haru slouched in his chair and attempted to stifle a yawn. Algebra had to be his least favorite subject. He didn't really see where he was going to be finding the value of x or y anytime in his future.

"Psst. Haru." Momiji whispered, poking the cow in the arm to get his attention. Haru mentally kicked himself for choosing to sit in the desk directly next to his hyperactive cousin. He glanced at the rabbit.

"What?" He hissed, trying to keep his voice low enough so the teacher didn't scold him again.

"That's what you get for zoning out, you're gonna fail if you keep that up!" He chuckled quietly. Haru rolled his eyes and turned back to the front of the room mumbling quiet "Yeah whatever." They didn't get grades for taking notes. They got grades for doing homework and passing tests. He could zone out all he wanted to.

The teacher erased the notes on the board and began passing out a sheet of paper to everyone in the class.

"There's only about 5 minutes of class left, so these sheets will be for homework, I want you to work question one through fifteen and show your work, otherwise you get a big fat zero." She said cheerfully, earning a couple of groans. "Also, if you have a graphing calculator, I don't mind if you use it, as long as you remember to show your work." She told them sternly.

"Oh! And if you don't remember the quadratic formula I would recommend writing it down in your notes, that's if you plan on passing the test this friday!" She called out to the class as the bell rang.

Haru and Momiji made their way out of the class, they had one more period to go before school was out. Haru was comtemplating just skipping it, but decided he should probably just go and get it over with. It was better then risking the chance at getting caught and punished for truancy.

"Dang it!" Momiji yelped, slapping his forehead with his notebook. "I knew I was forgetting something. I didn't write down the quadratic formula, and I need it to do this stupid paper." He explained after the cow gave him a curious look. "I'm gonna have to go and find someone who actually took their notes..."

Haru rolled his eyes at the distressed rabbit. "The formula is 'Ax squared plus Bx plus C equals zero'." He said boredly and turned toward his next class. Momiji blinked at the cows back for a moment then scribbled the formula down in his spiral before running to catch up with the cow.

"Hey, wait up!" He called. "Are you tellin' me you have all that stuff memorized? You didn't even take notes!" He said in disbelief.

"Yeah. It's not that hard." He stated boredly. Momiji quirked a brow at him.

"Are you sure? I mean even I have some trouble with this stuff." Haru furrowed his brows at the rabbit, trying to conceal the hurt he knew was probably showing. Did Momiji think he was that stupid too..?

"Momiji-" He started, as if he were gonna say something. "I'm going to class." He muttered and turned away from the rabbit. Momiji watched curiously as the taller teen walked away.

Was it something he said??

Yuki scowled at the ground. This day had turned out terrible.

First he had that little one-sided argument with Kyo during breakfast. Then he was late to first period because his locker jammed, and since he was late to class, he had clean-up duty after school. Yuki. Did. Not. Get. Clean-up duty. EVER.

Then he dropped all of his books in the hallway when someone ran into him because they weren't looking where they were going. And on top of that, while he was attempting to pick said books up off of the floor, a girl almost fell on top of him! If he hadn't caught her before she fell on top of him completely he would have transformed in front of everyone!

Then once he got to second period he realized that he'd dropped his only writing utensil when he dropped his books. So he had to borrow one, and when he asked for it he was immediatley surrounded by a huge group of drooling girls offering him pens and pencils, among other things.....

He stubbed his toe on one of the desks in fourth period and even worse, he'd practically tripped and fell face first into one of the desks last period! This had to be the worst day at school this year. He was just thankful he was in last period now....There was just one thing he couldn't take..

"Damn Yuki, you look like crap. Bad day?" Kyo asked in an amused tone from across the room where he was leaning on his desk.

He had last period with Kyo....

"Shutup, or I'll shut you up." He threatened with a glare. Kyo raised his hands in defeat and cowered jokingly.

"Ooh. I'm shaking." He taunted. Yuki scowled vehemently at the fiery teen, clenching his fists at his sides. Kyo was really starting to piss him off and he didn't even know why the cat was acting this way. He started to make his way over to the smirking teen and make due on his threat but the teacher walked in.

"Everyone take your seats..The bell has rung." She drawled and went to her desk to call role.

Yuki took his seat and sent the redhead the best glare he could muster, but all he got in return was a satisfied smirk.

'Just wait until I get home, we'll finish this.' Yuki thought to himself as he pulled out his notebook and a pencil.

Haru looked up at Shigure's house and sighed, running a hand through his hair. He'd actually been trying to get home, but he'd left without Momiji since he was still feeling a bit hostile toward him for his assumptions.

It wasn't really a bad thing though. He could just stay here for a while and visit while he did his homework, then he could call Hatori to come and pick him up so he didn't get lost on his way home. It would save him from having to speak to Momiji about his odd behavor at school as well.

As he walked toward the house he saw Yuki stomping up the steps and into the house. There was a dark cloud practically hovering over his head. Haru arched a brow as he watched the door slam shut behind the fuming rat.

'What's up with him?' He wondered curiously, but he'd find out soon enough, since he was heading in that direction.

Yuki stalked throughout the house angrily. He wasn't usually one to show his anger so openly, but he was in a bad mood. And there was only one person he could find to ease it a bit.

He was gonna break that stupid cats neck whenever he found him. That arrogant little... He growled under his breath.

He felt a hand on his shoulder, trying to turn him around and instinctively, he jerked away from the grap and swung his fist as hard as he could.

Haru walked into the house, without knocking of course out of habit. He saw Yuki disappear into the kitchen, then back into the living room, then into the dining room and back into the living room again. Was he lookin' for something?

"Uhh Yuki?" He asked.

Yuki just kept wandering from room to room, obviously not hearing the cows calls. Haru furrowed his brows in confusion, wondering why the rat was acting so wierd. Yuki walked into the living room again, this time heading toward the stairs. Haru figured this was his chance to get the rats attention so he could actually ask him what was going on. He stepped up and barely touched the older teens shoulder, so Yuki would know he was trying to get his attention.

Of course he wasn't expecting what came with it..

Yuki slowly opened his eyes, not fully aware that he'd closed them in the first place. They immediatley became the size of saucers, not expecting to see what he did.

Haru stumbled back a few steps after the blow, his eyes wide with shock.

His face felt kind of numb. Did Yuki just..Hit him??

Haru just stared at the rat in disbelief. Yuki looked almost as shocked as he did, but there was still that agitated look in his eyes.

Yuki was immediately attacked by a wave of guilt as he looked at the boy in front of him. Haru looked absolutely bewildered. The rat was at a loss for words, he hadn't even meant to swing at whoever was behind him. His mind was so set on getting Kyo it had just..Happened.

"Haru.." Yuki murmured, taking a step toward the cow. Haru narrowed his eyes at the rat and took a step back.

Why was there a metallic taste in his mouth..? Curiously, he slowly brought his fingers up to brush against his mouth then looked down at his hand to investigate. True enough, his fingers were covered in blood. He could feel a trickle of the warm liquid fall from the corner of his mouth and down his chin when it had no where else to go.

Yuki really had hit him..

What had he done that was so bad that he deserved this?

"You...You hit me." Haru stated incredulously. Yuki flinched at the younger teens words, knowing full well that he'd hurt his cousin. He had no excuse to offer him..

Yuki didn't say anything, he just looked at the cow apologetically. Haru however just silently walked away from him, his hand still hovering over his mouth.

Shigure looked up from his computer when someone knocked on his door. Yuki was standing there with a stressed look on his face. Shigure arched a brow, not really used to seeing such an expression on the rats face.

"Somethin' wrong?" He asked seriously. (for once)

"Have you seen Haru..?" Yuki asked in an impatient tone.

Shigure arched a brow at the inquiry.

"Huh? Haru's here?" He wondered, biting the tip of his pen. Yuki rolled his eyes and shifted his weight a bit.

"Yeah, he showed up after school..But now I don't know where he is. I know he didn't leave though. But I really need to find em." He explained. Shigure brought a thoughtful hand to his chin to think for a moment.

"Nope, no idea. Why do you need to find him so bad though..?" He asked curiously. Yuki usually isn't the one looking for Haru..

"Uh..I..Uhm, I accidently hit him a while ago." He admitted shamefully. Shigure did his best not to gape at the admittance. Yuki hit Haru? That was a first! What could Haru have possibly done to make Yuki hit him..?

"Uh, what did he do to earn that?" He wondered.

"Nothing." Came the reply.

Shigure furrowed his brows. That was even worse! Yuki just randomly hit Haru? And for no reason? That was probably like a blow to the poor kids pride!

"Ehe, Yuki. Maybe it would be best to leave Haru alone for a while. He's probably pretty hurt. And I don't mean physically." He told the rat sternly. Yuki sighed in exasperation but nodded before turning and leaving the room.

Then it hit him.

He groaned and smacked himself in the forehead. That's what Kyo had been talking about this morning, wasn't it? It explained why Kyo came back so angry yesterday too after Haru left..... How could he be so dense as to not realize that?

Kyo yawned and stood up. He'd been on the roof since school ended, since he knew Yuki would probably be throwing a fit when he got home. The thought made him chuckle as he walked to the edge of the roof so he could crawl in his window. The sun was setting, giving everyone an orange glow, and it was getting cooler, which meant it was time for him to go inside.

He crawled in through his window and paused as he saw a familiar figure sitting in his room. He sat with his back against the wall and his arms resting lazily on his knees. He didn't say anything, or even look at the cat when he came in the room, he just kept staring straight ahead. Kyo tried his best to hide his surprise.

"Haru? What are you doing here?" He asked as he walked over to the teen and paused in front of him. His eyes widened a bit when he saw the blood on the boys face, which he hadn't even bothered to wipe away.

Kyo was crouching in front of him almost immediatley with a worried look on his face. Haru brought his hand up to touch the sore spot on his face again but dropped it at his side a moment later with furrowed brows. Kyo remained silent, not really knowing what to say. Haru looked up at the cat with a halfhearted grin.

"You said I could come to you to talk. So talk, Kyo." He demanded, feeling a bit uncomfortable all of the sudden.

"What the hell happened to you?" Kyo asked, anger obvious in his voice.

"Nothing." Haru lied.

"That's bullshit! You're bleeding!" He exclaimed causing Haru to flinch a bit. Kyo frowned. "What happened?"

"Yuki hit me." He stated as if it were nothing.

"HE WHAT?" Kyo practically yelled. "That bastard! Why did he hit you?"

Haru shrugged and leaned his head back against the wall, closing his eyes. "I dunno. I was just gonna ask him what was wrong with 'em and he turned around and decked me. I left before he could say anything, though." He explained, deciding that was all he'd say about the manner.

"..."

Kyo furrowed his brows in anger. After all he'd said to Yuki, he went and hit him?

"I'm gonna go get some stuff to clean this up, be right back." He stated as he stood up. "You can sit on the bed or somethin' if you want.." He added over his shoulder as he left the room.

Kyo walked into the bathroom and grabbed the first aid kit and turned back to his room. He paused at the door for a moment then turned and walked downstairs. He found Yuki, Shigure and Tohru in the dining room. They all looked up at him as he entered the room and he noticed Yuki's change in expression when he got there.

He glared at the rat and chucked the first aid box at him from across the room. Yuki raised his arms to shield him from the blow, and successfully deflected the small plastic box, but was then yanked out of his chair by the enraged cat. Kyo shook him back and forth by the collar of his shirt.

"What the hell is wrong with you!!!" He yelled. "Not only do you have to hurt him emotionally but you have to do it physically too? YOU'RE SUCH A BASTARD!" He screamed before pushed the rat away from him and picked up the first aid box and leaving the room again.

Tohru had jumped up from the table in confusion, since she had no idea what was going on. Shigure looked kind of miffed at the interaction and Yuki looked absolutley bewildered at what had happened. He'd never really seen Kyo that mad about something, at least not at him for that matter.

Kyo stalked back up the stairs and into his room, feeling slightly better now that he had that out of his system. He looked up to see Haru sitting cross-legged on his bed. Well, that was good. At least Haru wasn't like some wierd zombie like he was afraid he might be.

"Hey." Haru said awkwardly from the bed. Kyo walked over and sat on the bed in front of the cow. He opened the first aid kit and pulled out a small cloth, then used his free hand to tilt the younger boys chin up a bit so he could wipe the blood away.

"You know, Yuki's never hit me before." Haru stated thoughtfully. Kyo just continued to wipe the dried blood on his face.

"Does it hurt?" He asked.

"A little. It's kinda sore." He answered with a shrug.

"You shoulda hit him back, that's one thing he deserves." Kyo stated in an annoyed tone.

Haru shrugged. "Nah, I was too shocked to even say anything, I just kinda left him standing there. He looked like he was about to piss his pants." Haru stated with a small chuckle.

Kyo grinned, happy that at least he still had a sense of humor about it.

"He was probably afraid you were gonna go Black and kick his ass." Kyo said after a moment.

"He had a pretty nice bruise on his face too, what was that all about?" Haru wondered. Kyo snorted and put the cloth aside, letting the cows chin go.

"That's what he got for being such an inconsiderate bastard." The cat explained, a bit flustered. Haru dropped his gaze to the blanket.

"Thanks.." He mumbled. Kyo frowned at the boy for a moment.

"Hey." Kyo said, tilting the boys chin up so he could look him in the eyes. "I won't let that bastard hurt you anymore, you hear me?" He stated confidently. Haru felt his face heating up and his stomach flutter at the declaration.. Kyo leaned forward and softly brushed his lips against the younger teens.

Without even realizing he'd done it, Haru closed his eyes and leaned into the kiss. He couldn't help but feel disappointed at the loss when the redhead pulled back, his cheeks tinted pink.

"Kyo..?" Haru asked after a few minutes of silence.

"Yeah?"

"What..Does this mean?" He asked nervously. Kyo gave him a skeptical look.

"What do you want it to mean..?" The cat asked uneasily. Haru didn't say anything, he only smiled at the cat. Kyo relaxed then.

"There's that smile I was looking for.." The cat observed, cupping the cows face in his hand. Haru flushed a bit, feeling embarassed for some reason.

"Uh..I should probably get home, it's late."

"You could stay the night here if you want. You can borrow one of my uniforms. Hatori would probably just be in a bad mood if he had to drive all the way over anyway." Kyo offered. Haru contemplated for a moment before shrugging.

"Alright, if it's not too much trouble."

"Nah it's fine. Are you hungry?" He asked. Haru nodded, he was pretty hungry..

"Alright. Well I'll go get us some food. I'll tell Shigure to call Hatori and let him know you're here. And I've gotta do my homework too.." He blabbed as he walked out of the room. Haru sighed and layed back on the bed.

It felt good to smile again..

Wah! okay. ANYONE who whines about little chapters in their review is gonna get a pile driver from yours truly!

Other then that, how was it? YEs yes, I am aware that I am addicted to Yuki-Bashing, so don't waste your time in the review saying "You're so mean to Yuki" Because..Uh..I know I am, I did it on purpose. Becuase I love Kyo and Haru. Not Kyo and Haru And Yuki.

EHEHEH. Yeah Yuki's okay. But when I'm in a Kyo and Haru mood...YUKI IS THE ENEMY! ENNNEEEMMYYYY! -shakes fist-

Okay so review please!
