“Hmm…I think we'll let you find that out on your own.” Tohru blinked, she didn't have much time to think about it because the small rabbit girl came back into the room, making a lot of noise.

“Jingle-chan, you gave away our secret.” Said Kurokin quietly. The little girl looked over at Tohru and gulped.

“I'm sorry Kin-san! I didn't mean to, it's just all my jinglies were left out in the open! They could have been stolen!” she said, jumping from foot to foot.

“What happened? Why did you transform?” asked Mikaku, trying to cover up a yawn with his hand.

“Well…I got mud on my hands and I forgot about…” she looked down and then at Tohru. “You won't tell…will you?”

“No! Definitely not, you can trust me.” Said Tohru triumphantly. Tohru had already been entrusted with one grave secret, and now she had to take care of two. It didn't bother her though, she was happy. Now she would have the excitement of meeting other Hitsuki Zodiac children. A thought passed over her and she smiled at the little girl, known as `Jingle-chan'.

“What's your name?” she asked smiling. “My name is Honda Tohru.”

“Hee! My name is Hitsuki Fuku! Nice to meet you Tohru-chan!” Tohru smiled at the cute little girl. She was pale, but had big shiny blue eyes and freckles. Fuku is quite a masculine name. She thought as she knelt down to shake her hand.

“Can I call you Fuku-chan?”

“Yup! Although, most call me Jingle-chan! It's because I like jinglies!” she shouted, jumping up and down, causing a din. Tohru smiled at Fuku and patted her head. She was small and had jet-black hair. She had seen her rabbit form, and now she was curious about the others.

“Mikaku-kun? May I…?” it sounded like a rude thing to say in her head, so she wasn't sure about asking it.

“See my form? I can tell you're itching.” He said smiling. Tohru nodded and he slipped the black glove off, revealing his hand. It indeed had the sign of the Rat on it, in deep black. It looked like a tattoo. He held his hand out to her.

“I'll let you do the honours.” Tohru nodded and tentatively brushed her hand over the sign. It glowed and then shone brightly, she had to look away. When she turned back he was gone. She looked down to find a small rat at her feet. Smiling widely, she picked him up gently and brought him to her face. She was shocked to find that his body was a reddish-orange in colour. She stroked his back with her finger and turned to Kurokin, who was smirking.

“Strange isn't it? An orange rat.” He said walking to her side.

“H-Hai, a little. Why is he that colour?”

“Because that's his natural colour, he dyed his hair blue because he thought it was better than orange.”

- *squeak*-(it's not that I don't like it….I just prefer blue)

“Oh….um…can't he speak?”

“The Zodiac children can speak in their forms in the Sohma family? I'm afraid that's a luxury we don't have. We understand alright, we just can't reply.”

“Ah I see!” she said smiling at Mikaku, his shape and size was equal to that of Yuki's, the only difference being the colour and piercing. Mikaku raised his paw to reveal a tiny version of the Rat sign on his left paw; Tohru rubbed his paw gently and once again had to shield her eyes.

“You both have that problem though!” she squealed. She had had to turn away from Mikaku's naked form. Mikaku laughed and began to clothe himself.

“Young Miss? Could you go and find Koutsu-kun for us? He can't stand this type of heat and he'll surely collapse if we leave him.”

“Um…”

“Kurokin-san, Tohru-san is hurt remember? Why don't you go out and find him?”

-Because I'm lazy

-We all know that

“Besides, Tohru-san doesn't know where he likes to go.”

“Neither to we, besides, he'll just shout at us. Young Miss actually had him apologising.” Mikaku sighed, admitting defeat. He then turned to Tohru.

“If you want to…”

“It's fine! I want to go find him and apologise anyway!” she said and bowed, walking firmly out of the door and heading out of the main buildings. Fuku looked up at Mikaku and the worried expression on his face.

“Even though…I know she'll be okay with Koutsu-san….its just…she seems like such a clumsy girl…”

I wonder where he could be. Thought Tohru as she walked/limped through a field of tall grass and many flowers. Even though it was summer and some of the flowers were dying from the heat, there was a special part of the field that she could see, that had the most beautiful light yellow colour. She focused on that spot and found herself being pulled towards it; it was so soothing just to see all the flowers of that colour, mixed with a few purple. She looked down at herself; her dress…was this exact colour. She found this odd but kept going, despite the way these surroundings made her feel. She felt coolness from this area, something that made it seem perfect. There was a cherry blossom tree in the centre of this area, it was huge and in full bloom. Scanning around it, she saw what she had been seeking; Koutsu leaning against the tree with his eyes closed and hands spread out on the ground. She walked to him until she was only a few feet away. He looked so peaceful, with a gentle breeze making his white hair dance, licking around his face. He had lost the heavy sheen of sweat and his cheeks were hazed pink and no more. She wanted to leave him sleeping, leave him to have his peaceful quiet. But he stirred.

“Ah…Koutsu-san?” His eyes snapped open and, to Tohru's disappointment, the peace and tranquillity of the area died. The flowers seemed to loose they're glow and it seemed more tense now. Feeling that she had ruined something, Tohru stumbled forward.

“I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to disturb you-” she couldn't finish as she tripped on some grass and hurtled into Koutsu-who gasped and grimaced. Tohru whined a little and lifted her head from Koutsu's chest.

“Sorry….” She said and slumped back down. Koutsu giggled and pushed her over, so that she was sitting beside him. Tohru stared at his red eyes and thought that she would be afraid. But they were peaceful, not enraged.

“How did you find me?” his deep voice echoed in her ears, it was still husky, but it suited him. It also had a kind of deep pureness to it. She smiled.

“I'm not sure really, I just saw this part of the field and was drawn to it…he-he, it matches me.” She said, comparing her arm to a bunch of the flowers near her. Koutsu smiled and picked a few flowers by his side, then intertwined the stalks so that they formed one. He placed the little bunch of flowers in her hair close to her ribbon.

“Hai, it matches very well.” He said, brushing a displaced lock of hair behind her ear. Tohru felt her cheeks becoming hot and she shied away from his touch.

“Hm…oh! The others are worried about you! I think you should go home.” She said. Koutsu sighed wearily and stretched, pushing himself off of the ground and offering Tohru his hand. She took it and found that her knee had become much worse, she couldn't walk.

“Owowow….”

“Looks like that fall screwed it bad.” He said, staring at her knee. Tohru nodded and whined. It was then that she heard her cell phone ringing and proceeded to take it out of her waist-bag pocket. She answered it and jumped.

“Ah! Kyo-kun!”

-Are you alright? Why are you so surprised? I told you I was gunna phone.

“Hai, I know. He-he I've actually done myself a bit of dam-” Tohru stopped herself from finishing.

-You've what?

“Nothing, nothing!” Koutsu just stared at her, trying to hear the voice on the other end of the phone.

-It was damage wasn't it?! Have you hurt yourself bad? Where are you?!

Tohru sighed wearily.

“Hai…I can't walk. I'm….um….”

-Do you even know where you are?

“Um…hold on. Koutsu-san? Where is you're home? What's it called I mean?”

“Well it's on Yuikona road, it's Hitsuki residence, it's not hard to find.” She nodded and turned her attention back to the phone.

“It's on Yuikona road, Hitsuki residence.”

-Hai, I got it. Wait for me at the front gate, I'm coming for you.

Before Tohru could object he had hung up. She looked to Koutsu and smiled.

“My friend is going to come for me at the front gate…oh dear.”

“What?”

“I'm in the middle of a field and I can't move.” She laughed a little and then looked around herself. Before she could suggest a means of moving, Koutsu had already picked her up and threw her over his shoulder. It was a little frightening at first, but once she had wrapped her arms around his neck she felt safer. Koutsu had his left arm under her, and his right holding her side tightly.

“Arigato…Koutsu-san.” Koutsu didn't reply, only nod his head.

It took them about 20 minutes to get from the field to the front gate. Kyo was already waiting there when they reached it. Tohru had drifted off and woke to find Kyo looming over her with a worried expression on his face.

“What were you thinking walking around a field like that? Stupid girl! You know what you're like for crying out loud!” he shouted. A smile spread across Tohru's face as she saw the neko's angry face, she hadn't seen it since his wedding 3 months ago.

“Kyo-kun!” she shouted, jumping on him. She had forgotten about the curse and looked at him slightly dazed at his cat form.

“Well I see you haven't changed in 3 months….” He said pathetically. Tohru smiled and lifted him up, hugging him close to her.

“It's so good to finally see you again Kyo-kun….um….Kyo-kun?” she said questioningly as she gently weighed him in her hands. “You've put on weight.”

“No I haven't! It's muscle! I've been working out! It's muscle!” he shouted angrily.

“He-he, Kyo-kun's getting fat.”

“It's MUSCLE!!!” he screamed, writhing in her hands as she tickled him. Koutsu stared at the two, in surprise and also in dissapointment.

“When you're ready, take her home.” His deep voice boomed. He then walked away. Tohru looked after him.

“Koutsu-san…”

“Who's that guy?”

“He's Hitsuki Koutsu, he helped me. He's also the Dragon of the Zodiac.” Kyo looked up at her.

“So?” Tohru put him down, giving him time to transform back. She kept looking to where Koutsu had disappeared behind a corner, she didn't even have the chance to say `thank you'. Once Kyo had clothed himself, he lifted her in much the same fashion as Koutsu had done, and carried her down the stairs to his car, placing her in the back seat (after much difficulty getting the car door open).

“You okay now?”

“Mm hmm…how's Karin?”

“She's good…she teases me a lot though. I don't mind. Do you want to go home or come to ours? I think she'd like to see you again.” He said smiling. Tohru nodded absently, staring up at the cherry blossoms.

I hope…I can see them again.
