He walked through the main gates, and a small sigh escaped him as he took one last look at the sky. The moonlight softly illuminated his long hair and his face twisted in his conflict. His eyes snapped to attention as he saw a shadow darker than the midnight sky moving against the main house. It circled to face him, a distance away and then a voice drifted out of it.
"Did I not order you to bring her?", the voice asked, devoid of any emotion. A pair of iridescent eyes glared lazily out of the dark.
"I grow tired of this, year after year. I wish for my life to be my own again, and I see no reason to give it to you any longer. My soul will never be as black as yours again.
" Even though it is not necessary, I can give you a fine reason why you should and still will, as it has been for years, always my own pet snake. Your reason is right there.", a light cackle leaves Akito as he lazily points to a figure that is frantically running past the gates after Ayame...
