Damn Kyou. Well, at least I got to tell him...Oh damnit! Im going to bed.
~~~~~~Next Morning~~~~~~~~~~
OK, let's see what time it is.....I feel around and grab my watch. I swear my eyes bug out of my head. I
don't think this is right! There is no way in hell it's noon! I never sleep into noon. What is today? ....Gah!
It's the Sohma family festival (Its not the Zodiac thing....It's something I made up!)....which means.... I
open my door a little and there are people setting up lights and all that stuff. I get in the shower and
brush my teeth, comb my hair, and everything. I walk into the kitchen to get something to eat, and I see
Kyou in there. 'Ok, Lizzi, deep breaths...' "Yo." he says. "Uhh...umm...hey..heh" I say. 'Yep, real smooth....'
I think to my self. Then I bolt out of the kitchen and to the yard. Okay let's see, where is Cori...OK, I
remember she likes Yuki..and Yuki likes gardening. Her and Yuki were talking about hanging out today, so
a garden. Gotta find a damn garden! I walk fast through out the estate. Yes, I see them...what are they--
Oh my gosh, their holding hands..aww. Wait, what the hell am I saying...Hmm.....If those two get married,
and Kyou and I get married, me and Cori would be related....I think......Wait a second, if Cori, Aki, Solita,
and I got married to a Sohma, then we would all be related...That be cool...sorta. Oh gosh, I can see the
family feuds now...-_-0. OK, those two are fine as they are. Let's see..Aki, likes Ayame. Ayame likes
clothing...designs.. Onwards to Ayame's...place..@_@ I do a little victory pose, The people setting up the
lights are staring at me weird. Perhaps I will do victory poses in a private place like my room. I walk off
towards Ayame's room. Im not even 12 feet away, and I can still hear his overly confident voice...He's so
damn annoying. Why the hell does Aki like him...Shes the quiet type and hes...loud! I peek in through the
door, she's trying on his unique outfits, OK well their fine. Solita, my bestest friend out all of them.
Hmm...Solita likes...Akito! So...."What are you doing?!" someone says. "Ah, haha. Solita. Nice to see
you...this morning..." I say. "It's afternoon..." "Right, right, I knew that!" I say. "Um, Solita, you like Akito
right?" Hopefully, she won't catch on to what Im trying to do. "I do, but why do you care?" "Um, no
reason..." She walks away, mumbling about my insanity. I know for a fact Im not that insane...I mean Im
insane but not crazy.
OK, I want to find Akito. I skip to the main house, to find my friends future boyfriend...I walk to Akito's
room, "Akito-san.." I whisper. This quietness isn't helping my nerves. Being around Akito is scary, since
what he did to Hatori. I walk over to him, and bow..slightly, then I sit on the floor. "You think you could
like my one friend?" "What one?..." (a/n: Im so sorry if this isn't like him, its just that Im having a hard
finding out his personality) "Solita, the one with the dark brown hair, hazel-ish colored eyes, about 6'5".
The one who you where watching dance. And if you want to know how I knew, she felt your presence."
Akito nods, then says "A little I guess.." I nod, get up, and bow again before I leave. I am running in the
hallway, to get outside, of course, Kyou just happens to be there. I slip, and continue sliding down the
floor, I slide into an unsuspecting Kyou, who happens to fall on me...transforming. I lay there paralyzed,
"Im so damn sorry Kyou!" I say. Kyou gets up, and grabs his clothes..."And about last night, you can forget
what I said if you want to..." I say again, a faint blush starting on my face. I get up and bow slightly to
Kyou. "Im sorry, and ...bye" I say again. I run to my room, locking the door. I hold back the tears. 'Damn
Kyou, he didn't even answer me.' I sit on my bed and let the tears run down my face. "Lizzi, c'mon! The
festival thing is starting," Cori yells on her way by. "OK!" I yell back. I walk outside, after drying the
tears, and putting new make-up on. Heh, Cori and Yuki are dancing. Looks kinda weird...their slow dancing
and their like 4 feet apart. I scan the yard and see Solita, she's talking to....good mother of macaroni,
she's talking to Akito. She sees me and waves, I give a small wave back. She must've told Akito she'd be
back, and comes running over to me. "What did you do, Lizzi?" "Eh? Oh, I told him about you, and that you liked him," I say. "Oh. Well, thanks..." Solita says. I nod, and then she says, "So where is 'your Kyou'?" "How the hell should I know?" I say. I turn away, and start putting my shoes one so I can find Aki. Ah ha! I found her, shes talking to Ayame...it figures...I wave, and Ayame waves back, while Aki, just nods. 'What the hell is this? A damn couples convention?!' I think. 'Im going back to my room.' I walk back to my room, and lay on my bed. I hear movement on the roof. 'Eh?' I think. I go to the side of the house and climb up the ladder. "Hello, Kyou." I say. "Hey," he says. "Can I join you up here?" I say. "I don't care" he says. I finish climbing the ladder and sit up there with Kyou. "This a stupid festival.." I say, trying to break the silence. "Of course it is! The cat from the zodiac isn't allowed to go the any of the Sohma festivals!" Kyou says, obviously ticked off, but probably grateful, since he didn't have to deal with
Kagura.
"Listen," Kyou says. "Eh?" I say back to him. "About what you said last night, why would you want me to
forget it?" I start to blush and then shrug my shoulders. "Well, Im not gonna forget it," he says a blush covering his face. Kyou pushes a piece of hair away from my face, and I fight the urge to hug him. Kyou moves in and faintly kisses me. "What time is it?" Kyou says. "10," I say. "The festival should be ending about now," Kyou says. We watch everyone having their last dance, we watch, Ayame give Aki a goodnight kiss, Akito give Solita a kiss on the cheek, 'Well it's a start' I think. Finally, we watch Yuki give a kiss to Cori. The festival's ending, every one of my friends got a kiss from their boyfriends. I smile, and say, "Hey Kyou?" "Hn?" he says. "The festival's over, so we can go have our party now!" I climb down the later and then Kyou. Our party ends about 11:15PM. Kyou gives me a kiss, on the lips and then says good night. I walk into my room to my friends saying, "So what happened between you and Kyou?" "Nothing, just a kiss," I say. "Riiiight" they say. "Oh sure, Yuki kissed you Cori, Akito gave you a kiss on the cheek Solita, and Ayame gave you a kiss as well Aki. So don't be a hypocrite! After everyone went in we had our own party and nothing bad happened." I say. "Sure, Lizzi," Aki says, before they all leave my room. I shake my head and laugh silently.
